We went here on a Saturday afternoon and there weren't many guests at the time. We were seated quickly and brought drinks. We ordered the onion rings which come with a variety of dipping sauces - we chose the sweet Thai chili sauce. The breading was so light and crisp, not oily or soggy. They were the best onion rings I've ever had! We both chose a specialty mac & cheese entree. It starts with a base of their homemade creamy mac and cheese and then you can also choose from several options to mix into it. One was called Black & Bleu and had steak cooked to order and bleu cheese melted in and they substituted mushrooms in this dish for us with no problems. The other was Buffalo Chicken with jalepenos. For dessert we got a Tortino which was vanilla ice cream with almond biscotti and amaretto on top. Everything was 100% delicious!! The waitress and owner were very nice and helpful. By the time we left at about 4:30 it was starting to pick up. Other reviews mention a long wait but even if that happens who cares because the food would be worth the wait! We saw this menu last year when we were visiting but couldn't make it, we finally made it this year and plan to go back as often as possible! read more

Wife had a chicken and portobello mushroom sandwich, I had chicken cheese steak. Both sandwiches were tasty, but high priced for their size (weight, really - rolls were nice but the sandwiches' fillings were somewhat "hard to find") My beer was fairly priced. Service was very good, and the dining room was pleasant. This is one of those places that I would return to as a "known quantity" that I could trust, but that has nothing going for it that would make me go out of my way to return to. My family and I went here recently after finding an ad in a brochure from our hotel. Like the name suggests, it is very hidden and a local type of place. Although we came about an hour before closing, the waitresses welcomed us kindly and were attentive all night. We ordered the Maryland mac and cheese, fire burger, and margherita pizza. All dishes were delicious and well made. I was surprised by how much crab was in the mac and cheese. The owner, Tom, came to greet us and was very friendly. The food was ok but not good enough to offset the terrible service. Our recent Saturday night visit was impromptu so no reservation, however, we were greeted by the hostess and sat immediately. The place had many visible tables so conditions were unlikely that we would be there for hours. Our waitress brought us menu and water in sufficient time but after that we waited and waited. Every visit to the table was followed by very long intervals. We watched other patrons arrive and get their drinks and food while we waited patiently. Relaxing and enjoying the company of our group of four is rewarding so not a problem but drinks did not arrive till more than 15 minutes after ordering ( a beer, a cocktail and glass of wine) another long interval of over twenty minutes and not even bread. Apps and salads then came out at same time. Another long interval until we saw our server again. We presented to her that our wait was excessive and others in the restaurant had been served. She replied defensively with no apology. She brought our food out shortly after that. Hope the Management sees this and resolves his staff issues. A very poor showing Gotta do better read more

I like this place. The main thing I wanted to share is that they really act as though they appreciate your business. Both times I've been there the waiter has been quick, attentive, and friendly. Bravo! On my recent visit I ordered the pizza. It was quite good, and priced no higher than the local takeout pizzeria. read more

I lead a drive for our Miata Club in the Delaware Water Gap area and stopped here for lunch. Not being from the area we were not familiar with the place. Our group had a fabulous time. Maureen and Tom were welcoming and friendly. Our food was delicious. Our folks raved about the various entrees. The food was really good. Group of 6 went and we all loved our dishes! From hamburgers, pesto penne to a special, crab cakes with asparagus and tri-color potatoes everything was perfect! Great place for lunch or dinner or for getting a pizza to go or eat in! Decided to try this on a neighbor's recommendation and so glad we did. In addition to the owner, Maureen, and bartender Migas providing great conversation, the food was delicious. Stopped by on an off time on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. We tried the wings and mini pork shank appetizers, which were wonderful. For lunch, I had the Spicy Ahi Tuna Sandwich which I highly recommend and my husband tried the Kielbasa sandwich. Another winner. Everything was fresh and had that little something extra that separated it from standard fare. Can't wait to get back there for dinner. In talking to one of the owners, this is a restaurant interested in knowing what their customers want and making sure that everyone is satisfied so if you go and there's something you think or want, let them know.
