This place is sooooo slow! I ordered online a crab Mac n cheese. That's it! I ordered at about 4:30 and requested it to be ready at 6:30. I got there, about 10 minutes early but I called to let them know I was there any way. I had to call twice to remind them I am there waiting for curbside. Finally at 6:45 I got my order. They weren't very busy and it took 45 minutes to get 1 salad, 1 side salad, and 1 order of mac and cheese, after we reminded them we were still waiting. And then they forgot the side salad. The food is usually pretty decent but the portions for many of the items doesn't reflect the price. Many menu items are very overpriced for the amount of food that's given. The fish and chips is good, but for $15 you don't get much. I ordered a side of mac and cheese for my son. It tasted like they used velveeta block cheese in the sauce. For $3 you get mostly a glob of cheese sauce, with a few noodles. A rip off for something that wasn't knock your socks off or anything. They really need to adjust their prices to reflect portions at this place. I'm not sure how much more I'll be coming here otherwise. read more

I am so glad I attended the "Taste of South County" and found out about this delicious spot! Everything I've ever ordered from there has been amazing!! (Coming from a picky eater). You can tell they use fresh ingredients and the food is freshly made. I have tried a variety of different items from the menu; including their crab bruschetta, glazed grilled chicken, grilled skewers, I love their tossed Caprese salad and my absolute favorite is their Maryland Cream of Crab Soup. In the area selecting flooring at Dunn's Flooring for my new place and the owner suggested some local food options as we were leaving. Chesapeake Grille came highly recommended for its diverse, tasty menu especially the specials and salads. My husband and I came excited and it did not disappoint. I haves passed by this establishment numerous times. It's near the Mama Lucia (also heard that's good and authentic as the owners live nearby), and the Bank. It's in between the Wawa and Exxon/Shell. A little small shopping center that I clearly have NEVER paid attention to. But I will now. It's over a week later and I'm still thinking about how I can visit again. First, the decor and ambiance is beachy. Not over the top. A good mix of colors. Warm and welcoming. We went on. Thursday evening around 8:15 pm. They close at 9 but didn't rush us. There was a crowd, but no lines. Many people were at tables. We heard two birthday songs. So the deal is you order and then if you are dining in, you grab your own table and they deliver your food. Pretty quickly too. The individual taking our order was so patient and kind offering great suggestions for items to try. And her suggestions were perfect. My husband and I shared the Old Bay Wings (winner). A great mix of spice, and crunch. I ordered the Chicken Florentine Sandwich/Gyro. My husband had the Baltimore Burger, a special. Everything, even the French fries (I'm not a fry girl) was delicious. We are happy to know we can avoid traffic of DC, by driving south to some good places to eat when we move into our new place. I went to the Chesapeake Grill & Deli and had a fabulous gyro. It was very tasty. The pita was soft, the meat was tender, and the tatziki, a bit messy but worth the extra napkins. My son had the kid's steak, which he enjoyed immensely. I would certainly go here again. read more

Keep it simple is the Theme of this terrific deli & grille. Food is fab, staff is great and attentive. There is a big sign that requires you to read it twice. "Please, no tipping"!!! Yelp is a really good APP for the small businesses. if it was for Yelp you would mess these places. This place was awesome! It is a hidden gem on route 2/4 southern Maryland. From outside it doesn't look like much but when you get inside its bright and appears cleans. You can see directly in the kitchen and the employees are polite and clean. I looked at the menu and was so overwhelm because everything sounds so good. I choose the carb cake and my friend had the steak. Our orders came out really fast and i was very please with everything. For the most part their prices are more than fair but for two small strips of salmon and some spinach this is way to much. I would expect this price in Downtown DC but not here in Dunkirk. Prime rib sandwich was pretty good but only has cheese on it. Next time i will see if they can put lettuce and tomato on it. Love the environment, this location is a no tip establishment and any tipping goes to a local charity or club. The food was great!
