Over the years Chesterfield Auto Parts has been a Blessing for me and many people that know I will do my best to help them keep their vehicles on the road in the insanely overpriced Auto Repair World! On July 31st of this year an elderly friend of mine needed a tail lamp repair for State Inspection. I found a defective socket and called around to all of the part stores with no luck. Called the Dealership next and a lamp socket was available... When you purchase the complete lamp assembly for $417.00! Checked the inventory for CAP and located two possible vehicles at the Genito location. Made my way to the Genito yard and was checked in by Steve. He was very pleasant to deal with when he instructed me where to find the two vehicles that may get my friend out of the bind She was in... And again Chesterfield Auto Parts saved the day! Found exactly what I was looking for. Thanked The Lord and headed to check out... I went back to see Steve and he tallied up what I had for purchase and it was just a few dollars! Exactly what I was hoping for! So I reached for my wallet and it was Missing!!! My world fell apart real quick and Steve handed me my wallet... I left it laying there at check in and Thankfully Steve saw it....... Wasn't much cash in it but there was other things that would have been Stressful to replace including credit cards! I Still Can't Thank This Man Enough! Without saying... If Steve hadn't noticed what I had done, not only would I have let my friend down I wouldn't have had enough gas to get Home! I want Management to know that I'm greatful for all of the things that Chesterfield Auto Parts has made possible over the years and I'm especially greatful for your Employees that show Integrity when they show up for work! This place is a God-sent fairly used car/truck parts center for DIYers, mechanics and E-bay part seller. The staff are amazing especially the supervisor/manager. This place has allowed me to maintain my very unreliable Range Rover at an affordable price. Just get in and pull the part. If you can't pull the part, please ask for the service of the amazing on-site mechanic, his service is available at a reasonable price. He can even pull the part for you while you are waiting! My weekend is not complete without going to the truck section. Please don't be an ass-hole, ask for help if you need one and you will be surprised by the help you will get. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I called enquiring about selling my wrecked car. I called first thing when they opened to get an estimate and was told $550 (including them towing from the tow yard to their location) by a woman who was extremely pleasant and helpful during a rough situation. I thanked her and said I would call back later in the afternoon if I wanted to proceed. After calling around to different places I found that this was the best price and called back around 2pm. Again. Pressing the same prompts as I did in the morning I got a gentleman who confirmed the $550 and explained the process and that I had to call the tow yard to pay my bill and that they would be there in 1-2 days. Ended up having another question and just wanted to confirm all the information I had gotten which include the $550 quote. His response was "why are you so worried about the $550 it could be hit by a bus and I'm still going to give you the money". I was worried about the $550 because if it was going to be any lower I wouldn't be breaking even from what the tow yard was going to charge me for getting it out hence me calling several places and confirming. That should have been my first clue that this 'business' wasn't in the cards for me. After talking to the tow yard to settle my bill he advised I get a solid date on when they were coming out because he has done business with them before and from past experiences has had customers told 1-2 days which be turns out to be a week or more, racking up the storage fees. I wanted to confirm their arrival because longer than 2 days would put me in the red. I called not 10 mins from my last interaction with them, again hitting the same prompts given by their answering service. And spoke with a different male employee. I called and introduced myself and said I had just called regarding the car...he cut me off and asked what I wanted to do with it...I said I spoke with someone earlier about them towing it and paying $550. He said "no it's not $550 it's $400". I said I spoke to two different employees that told me $550. He said I was speaking to the wrong person. I don't understand how if I was using the same exact prompts by the automated message twice...but got the "wrong person " that the price jumps down $150...in barley 10mins...he was extremely rude and told me that "now I was talking to the right person and if I want to sell it it will be $400 he's the person I need to talk to" Needless to say they did not get my business and are a shady place. It would be a different story if he was nice about it and said there was a misunderstanding or something but he didn't need to be rude and basically an as$ if it was something not one but two of their employees did wrong. read more

Everyone here (except cliff) is really on their high horse for someone who works at a junk yard. Never seen a bigger group of punks think that they are so much better than you. Exception is cliff, cliff is the bread and butter of this place, if you deal with anyone else expect nothing but a ego. read more

I would give it a 5 if everyone at this location was as customer oriented as the GM and Cliff. Cliff will go out of his way to help you, He makes sure that when you buy a part that you have everything that goes with it. For instance, I bought a factory stereo and he told me to make sure I got the plug for it. He has helped me find most anything I have looked for. He is definitely an asset to this place. Even if you have to wait for him to finish helping another customer to help you, it will be worth it in the long run. I visit one of their 3 locations pretty much on a weekly basis. This guy is there to help the customer and it shows. If you need truck parts, go on over and make sure you work with him. I've only ever had one issue here (Not with Cliff) and when I went to the office to speak to the GM, he was professional, polite and did everything he could to make sure the problem was resolved and that I was happy before I left.
