Food-I ordered the braised pork rice bowl but the soy sauce was over powering. I could not finish the rest of the bowl. The egg was also not fresh and you could tell that it's been sitting there a while by the yolk. I also got a Taro boba and that was good, good flavor. We just stopped by for lunch on a Friday at 12:30. We were seated right away. The tables around us filled up but it wasn't overly crowded or loud. The staff is very nice. We ordered Beef and Brocolli, BBQ Bao Buns, Chilled Tofu, and Tonkotsu Ramen. It was all delicious. The flavors are not overpowering or salty. My friend added soy and some chili oil to her Ramen. The ambience is one of the coolest you'll from an aesthetic perspective. There is a ton of interesting decor to look at! The food is fabulous! I've tried several things on the menu including the ramen, the chi lin fries, the bao buns, and much more! I've always been satisfied with my order! We were in the area for work, and have been in the food hall before, so wanted to come check it out again. This place was the only sit down spot without a long line/wait. We were helped VERY quickly when we walked in, then were what seemed like, forgotten about? It took awhile to get our order. Food also took a bit of time, but I imagine it's because it's super fresh. I got boba tea, which was bomb, and the pad Thai. The pad Thai had an...almost citrus taste? It was pretty unique in flavor. Personally, I wasn't a huge fan. My coworker got a Chinese dish that he said was pretty good. Overall, I do think they have good food, but I would like to try something else. A fantastic hole in the wall Asian restaurant in the Stanley market place next to the beer hall. The restaurant is nice and open. You'll be able to find it easily as when you walk in through the doors you'll see a big ramen bowl statue that has a pair of chopsticks dipping into the bowl in an up and down motion. The service is great. They have hosts, wait staff, and a robot waiter. They have TVs everywhere playing different channels. This is a great place to chill and chat with friends. Time for the food. I didn't get to get a picture of the appetizer, basil chicken karaage. It was very crispy and juicy. The soup dumplings were very soupy, they coke in individual tin foil cups now which help retain more soup compared to many other places that put it on the wax paper. If the dumplings rip/ explode their contents will be safe. The takoyaki (not pictured) were sweet and crispy, just be careful they're hot! The tonkatsu ramen was creamy and savory. There was a healthy amount of noodles. 2 half eggs. The fish cake and baby bok Chou provided great different textures which every slurp. The pork was very tender and oily, coating your taste buds and exploding with flavor from the broth. They also weren't stingy with the meat, there were several slices of it inside the broth. The Yaki udon is a dry (no significant amounts of broth) noodle dish. We got it topped with fried tofu so this isn't a standard in the dish. It is covered in cod roe as we were told by the waiter. The roe added on top of the noodles left a very healthy amount of oil and texture to the noodles. You get great cod flavor from this addition which creates a more savory dish. The fish taste is not pungent, it's salty and savory and is well balanced for those who love fish. The cocktails we ordered were quite sweet, I can't taste the alcohol in there. The "crash landing on you" I believe was the pink drink in a champagne glass, the taste is straight forward, they drizzled cotton candy over the champagne which adds a nice subtle sweetness on top of the carbonation. The next cocktail I had was the lichee sangria, this is the drink in the wine glass that has a lychee and blackberry inside of it. It was quite refreshing. You also cannot taste the alcohol in this drink immediately, it tastes like a fruit party tray it's amazing. When you finish the lichee sangria you can treat yourself to the lychee and black berry at the bottom which is just filled with the juice of the drink, the pop after the bite is like a fruit gusher having a party in your mouth. I was not able to try the other two types of cocktails ordered but my friends loved them. These Asian inspired cocktails are light, refreshing l, and wonderful without being overbearing. Was very happy I did- this is the second time I have had lunch at this place. I think I might have sat at the exact same table. I have to say, I was very surprised by chi Lin. They still had all the decorations up for the lunar year which was amazing to see. The pork buns were delicious. I could have eaten a million of them. But I do have to say I was highly disappointed by the ramen. It was very bland. I've definitely had better ramen that is for sure. But besides the ramen not being seasoned I still give it 5 stars. 17 dollars down the drain. I went out with some friends and they chose Stanley marketplace. I went here because they had a vegetarian option that looked good. The Buddha delight. Tofu and veggies stir fried in a whit sauce, with rice. It turned out to be (legitimately) the worst food I've ever received from a restaurant. There was ZERO flavor in the "white sauce" and it tasted like cornstarch and water. It was like a gluey nasty mess of overcooked veggies. I didn't ask for something new because by the time I sat down to eat, everyone was halfway through their barbecue since it had taken 20 minutes to get my food. Which was also odd because I was one of 2 customers in the building, and the other customers were already eating. Seemed like a long time for that type of food. This is a cool spot with cool decor and some fun sculptures (like the wok with fried rice looking like it was frozen mid throw). We ordered the Qi Lin fries and this restaurant is worth these fries alone. The fries are covered with a spicy Mayo, tons of shriracha, green onions and shredded seaweed. It was so so so delicious. Heads up, it is spicy because of the shriracha but so freaking delicious! I ordered the chicken curry. I loved it was heavy on the vegetables and the curry wasn't really spicy. It is really enough for two people. My coworker ordered the shrimp and veggie ramen. She said it was her first time trying real ramen and she was very pleased with it. She loved the spiced egg and asked for a side of Qi Lin's version of hoisin sauce, which I tasted and thought it was better. She added it to the ramen and said it made it excellent. I discovered Qi-Lin while looking for a place to eat on Chinese New Year. I'm very happy I found this gem. The venue is delightfully decorated, clean with tables socially distanced. The staff is courteous, responsive and attentive. The cuisine is pan-Asian with many items to choose from. I ordered the pork belly buns and spicy tantanmen ramen for in-restaurant dining and the basil pork fried rice for takeout. The food is amazing -- fresh, high quality ingredients that are perfectly cooked, flavorful, aromatic and artfully presented. The portions are large and sufficient for two meals for me. I chose Qi-Lin because of the well deserved 4.5 star Yelp rating. The experience I enjoyed (excellent food, wonderful staff and great atmosphere) earned Qi-Lin a 5 star rating and my sincere appreciation and ongoing patronage. The service is completely attentive and kind but all else... no, just no. I ordered shumai, where the shrimp had no flavor and hardly any color. The shumai itself seemed very much like anything you can get at the local frozen section. Next, got the veggie and shrimp ramen.... I have zero ideas on how something with so many ingredients tastes like colored water. The shrimps were very much frozen and disrespected with no type of flavor. Poor little guys. The soft boiled egg, was cold! It takes 7 minutes max to make a soft boiled egg, cmon now! Make it fresh or fresh within the last 8 hours at least! And don't give me cold ass egg in luke warm ramen. Qi-Lin is one of many Asian-inspired restaurants located inside Stanley Marketplace. The Stanley Marketplace has been opened since 2017 and has been my favorite place to explore small businesses and hangout. There was even a small Yelp Elite Event once upon a time here that I attended. Qi-Lin is one of the first places when you walk through the doors, so simply easy to find. It has a robotic ramen bowl display that goes up and down and it reminded me of the robotic streets of Akihabara, Japan. I took Nick here because this was our lunch spot after a looong trip from Rifle, CO. We didn't want to stop by Silverthorne, so Central Denver it was. Inside was a very cool dine in experience with a giant, red dragon over the ceiling, loads of plastic food displays and the theme was all red. We sat in the very back on these high chairs and ordered about 4 things. We started with 2 appetizers of the Harumaki and Qi-Lin Fries, which were both shared by Nick and I. The Harumaki came in (3) pieces and they were $4.95. They came with Japanese-style deep-fried spring rolls with ground pork, bamboo, carrots, cabbage, and black mushrooms. The Qi Lin Fries are actually a generous portion at $6.95. They are Potato fries with spicy mayonnaise, sriracha, green onions, and shredded dried seaweed. The Harumaki was actually not my forte, they tasted super strange and I couldn't even make up the flavors; simply strong and killed my appetize instantly. I think it was the combination of ground pork, black mushrooms that didn't do it for me. Next to our entrées, Nick and I ordered a bowl of ramen each and he received the Shoyu Tonkotsu at $14.95. It was a generously portioned bowl of egg noodles, shoyu (soy sauce) soup with chashu pork, baby bok choy, bean sprouts, menma bamboo, egg, green onions, and fishcake. I preferred The Shoyu Tonkotsu bowl over my Spicy Tantanmen Bowl. The Spicy Tantanmen Bowl came with a side of spicy garlic ground pork, that tasted rough and I didn't enjoy those whatsoever. I really liked the fact that the food (even the boba) wasn't over flavored. It's always awful when restaurants over-salt and season their food. I was actually able to taste the meat and vegetables and appreciate the textures. The pickled veggies were perfect. They have a little robot server which was awesome for the kids. Took an old airplane supply factory and made it a destination. Chi Lin is a great Asian place with dim sum and ramen and other noodles. We got 2 of my favorite dim sum here: the Shumai and the Soup dumplings. Those soup dumplings were just as I remember them from Taiwan! I keep trying to find the right ones and this was it! Same thing with the cream cheese wontons. I try but am usually disappointed. These were certainly the exception! I'm used to fake crabmeat in there but they have spinach. What a brilliant idea. And the dipping sauce was perfect. I live in San Diego but this is close enough to the airport that should I have a layover I would consider getting a ride out here again. The stars are for the fun decor, the ramen is okay. Located in Stanley Marketplace, you'd notice immediately this place because of the moving ramen by the door. The decorations are very entertaining though slightly overwhelming. I was dropping off a friend at the airport so we stopped here to grab a quick bite. We got the most traditional ramen. Because it was in a food court, I didn't have too high of an expectation, the soup was turned out to be better than expected. Other than that, the noodles and pork were meh. The pork was definitely not your usual chashu, it was long and thin, difficult to place the type of meat. Overall, if you're craving ramen and you're in a rush, this may satisfy your craving briefly. The chicken was definitely overcooked (rubbery) and didn't have much flavor to it. The sesame chicken was truly nothing special. The sauce was pretty good but the chicken was soggy. The white rice that came with it was overcooked and did not stick together. This place is good if you're looking for an average ramen experience, but don't expect anything higher.
