Revisited Chiang Mai for brunch as I saw on social media that they had a really great brunch menu. However, we found out that their brunch menu is not available at this location. I should've read the fine-print, oops! Otherwise, the service was good and efficient. We made reservations because the last time I went here, they were busy. Luckily, it wasn't too busy when we got there (most likely because we came early). We ordered the Pad Gra Pao (3/5) and Pad See Ew (4/5). The Pad Gra Pao was not as authentic as we hoped it would be. They had avocado slices, sliced radish and cherry tomatoes in the dish which was surprising. The flavour was good but it was not exactly what I was craving for when I ordered it. The Pad See Ew was flavourful and had a good amount of Thai basil which I enjoyed. Again, it had a Western twist to the dish so if you're looking for a Western Thai fusion, this would be a good place to go to. Overall, I'd love to go to their other locations to try the brunch menu.

I think I just found a place for my top 3 Thai restaurants in Toronto. Chiang Mai at Liberty Village takes that place. The food here was fresh and the portions were generous. My friends and I came together for a get together and we were all craving Thai. It was a polar vortex and my friends wanted to go somewhere nearby instead of trekking through the cold and snow. The service was quick we quickly became friends with the restaurant manager Linda and she gave us all the yummy recommendations. If you go there let me know I sent you there. I was really feeling mango sticky rice but couldn't make room for dessert so I opted for a mango sticky rice cocktail that tasted exactly like a mango sticky rice it was so satisfying. The ambiance felt very cozy and a great place for people to socialize and even for date night. Highly recommend this place 10/10 for me here!

Came here for lunch with my sister, wanted to get brunch but unfortunately, their brunch menu is only available at the other locations (poor research on my part). Service was good, we made reservations and got our seats right away. It wasn't too busy either since it was cold and they just opened too. We ordered pad gra pao and pad see ew, also tried the Thai milk tea. We got it hot and Thai spicy but I thought it wasn't too spicy. The flavour was good but it is a little more westernized for my taste so I would give the food a 3.5/5 (personal preference). Thai milk tea was great, I didn't find it overly sweet so I was still able to taste the tea flavour. Overall, I'm not sure if I'll come back to this specific location just because it's downtown but I'll definitely come back to try the brunch menu next time.

Since we had just had brunch, we only ordered two main courses and one appetizer: lobster stir-fried rice noodles. The stir-fried rice noodles were tasty, but the lobster and rice noodles seemed to have nothing in common. It felt like lobster was lobster and rice noodles were rice noodles. Although it looked beautiful in the photo, the lobster wasn't very flavorful, and I personally found it a bit fishy. Braised beef masamang curry is a must-order! The beef brisket was stewed until tender and flavorful, and the broth was curry with various spices. CM chicken wings - highly recommended! The chicken wings themselves weren't anything special, but all three dipping sauces were delicious. I liked the green dipping sauce the most; it seemed to be a blend of fresh spices and lime juice, very refreshing and not greasy. The red dipping sauce was a mixture of sweet chili and sour sauce, and the orange dipping sauce was a mixture of spicy mayonnaise and sweet and sour sauce.

Nice thai food in liberty, would come back for spicy meat and coconut rice. ALCOHOL Wine was half off on Tuesdays and we bought two bottles. They have tea infused alcohol, so chrysanthemum gin, jasmine gin, and green tea vodka. We got a jasmine gin with elderflower tonic and it was nice. PAD GRA PAO BEEF SPICY (5/5) Spicy wasn't that spicy, definitely doable. I paid extra ($2) for coconut rice and it was definitely worth it given that I got the spicy. The contrast between the subtly sweet coconut rice and spicy mix was amazing. Could genuinely eat that for days. PAD SEE EW (4.5/5) Friend got Pad See Ew which was also good, noodles were separated, eggs not overcooked, colors were deep, proof of wok skill 10/10. Only thing that would make the dish better is a bit more greens. CHOCOLATE LAVA CAKE (3.5/5) Gooey warm lava cake because we were feeling chocolate. A good cake, but really bad ice cream. If the ice cream quality was improved I'd get it again. Ambience is kind of this thai royal emerald green interior that I enjoyed. Would come here again if I was craving thai in the area. Service was good and waiter came by multiple times to refill us on drinks.

Food - We were a party of vegetarians and the server was kind enough to let us know which dishes are available for vegetarians and also which dishes could be made vegan or vegetarian. I appreciate the thoughtfulness! The food itself was super delicious. We had mango salad (must try!), khao soi (was made vegan on demand) , Thai basil fried rice, Thai iced tea (was surprisingly not too sweet, which I loved) Service - Very warm staff and the manager also checked in on us. Ambiance - a warm and cozy vibe , plenty of seating Parking - plenty parking available in and around the restaurant. Price - a little on the higher side, but the quality is worth it! I'd definitely recommend!

What a delightful night! Much more than we anticipated. We adored our server Terra, who was personal, sweet & charming. And the food!!! Not exaggerating, as good as we had in Thailand. Hats off Chiang Mai, keep up the good work!

Such the perfect intimate spot to grab food or drinks. I made reservations but def not needed for the daytime. The eatery is situated perfectly in the Liberty Village plaza with plenty of activities to do pre or post meal. My server was amazing, the food was out of this world delicious and the price point was affordable. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience. Traveling & finding such a gem was a the best gift a foodie could ask for.

Had a work dinner at this place. Food is overall very yummy. Definitely great ambiance with nice seating area. They served the food at the right pace. The dishes are of good portion and I already felt pretty full before my entry. We ended with the sticky rice dessert to share and it's surprisingly very good!

One of my favourite restaurants in the city. It's always my go to whether for dine in or take out because the quality of the food never misses! I particularly love their pineapple fried rice but everything from their curries, tom yum soup, pad thai, pad see ew is honestly a hit. Every time I have visited, their service is great. The liberty location is spacious and their decor adds to the Thai dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this spot as it will not disappoint!

Dishes are executed very well, I would suggest to take the recommendation dishes. The two in the photos are must orders. The place is halal, which is an amazing choice to bring Muslim friends. The restaurant itself is in liberty village, very modern renovations and a small patio. Ice cream shop and coffee shops in the same area. You can park at metro near by.

The food was phenomenal. We all had various curries, but the calamari was some of the best I've had in awhile. Also pay the surcharge to upgrade your rice to the coconut one. The coconut soup was also fantastic.

We ordered 2 cocktails to start with the tapioca dumplings and green papaya fritters. The drinks came out immediately. I had the Tincture Perfect, which was outstanding. It was the perfect mix of sweet, sour, floral and bitter. I loved it! My husband had the Unit 75 which he really enjoyed. The grapfruit bitters rounded out the sweetness of the Chambord and the sourness of the lemon. We decided to order another cocktail each just as our food arrived. I had the I Have a Lychee Secret. It was a little on the sweet side, but was very yummy. I loved the black pepper on top but didn't really taste much cilantro. My husband had La Passionista which was great. It was so well-balanced and flavourful. The dumplings were AMAZING! The butterly pea infused tapioca gave the perfect bouncy, chewy texture to the outside and the mushroom and radish centres were so tasty. Our waitress explained that they should be eaten in a lettuce cup with cilantro, mint and peanuts. YUM! Such a flavour bomb. The only thing I would have changed would be to add some sort of a spicy, salty, sour dipping sauce like a nuoc cham. The green papaya fritters were also just fantastic. They were crispy, crunchy and the dipping sauce was a little spicy and sweet. All in all, we really enjoyed our meal and would 100% return. I have already reccomended them to others.
