Chips salad was amazing and only $4
Chad P.

This was a fun visit to an authentic Italian place during my stay in Baltimore. You can tell it's been around for a while. We were seated right away and service was pretty good throughout. Definitely had some great selection of food! Unfortunately the salad I guess used to come with the meal but now it's an add-on. But it's fine because it was worth it and delicious. My shrimp primavera was amazing! Very very good treat. Definitely would return for more good Italian food next time I'm in the area.

I have ordered take out from here before, but this was my first visit to the restaurant. I love the lounge entrance and it had a great atmosphere. We ordered from a friendly bartender- I had the shrimp Nicola and my friend tried the tour of Chiapparelli's. My pasta was perfect, the white wine sauce was delicious and while I find sometimes these dishes can be a little dry, this was perfect. Off the your plate I did try a bite of the fettuccine and I was pleasantly surprised by house good it was. Some wine and pasta hit the spot perfectly!

Have you ever been to a restaurant that feels like you just ate a home cooked meal? This is exactly the spot. Located in little Italy, this Italian restaurant has been passed down the family and been in Baltimore since the 40s. It has a nice rustic feel with clothed tables and low seats. You're greeted by the front desk and the waitresses are old enough to be your mama. We ordered pretty much everything Aracini - delicious and cheesy loved the marinara Meatballs- pretty good but could be better Fried calamari- very light and refreshing and lightly seasoned. Pescatore - I enjoyed the plethora of seafood and its freshness. I opted to switch the sauce to a vodka sauce which was tasty but I had to add more salt to It. Espresso martini - pass Canoli - delicious Overall, an amazing work dinner

We wanted to take my bf's dad out to dinner in Little Italy and yelp reviews guided us to Chiapparelli's. We were sat immediately. Ambiance is very old school italian restaurant which is fine and adds to the vibes. Our server seemed a little tired and/or noncommital. He did in fact forget the order of appetizer we put in (its fine, it wasn't on the final receipt) but otherwise didn't check up on us much. We weren't provided a dessert menu after dinner. I got the order of calamari fra diavoli with a side of italian wedding soup (so needed on a very brisk autumn night). The pasta was really yummy. It hit the right level of spicy and it was an ample portion of calamari on it. My bf and his dad both got the eggplant parm and both commented on how it was a really well done eggplant parm where the breading was not too greasy and there was a nice crunch when cutting into the eggplant. We definitely do think we will come back again. Food saved it from being a 3 star in my opinion, because the service was a little meh.

My family and i visited on a sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is very intimate and quiet. Good for conversations and dates. We recieved complimentary bread and oil which was fantastic. We got calamari which was very well seasoned with amazing tomato sauce. everyone got lasagana except me who got the penne pesto. Everyone enjoyed their lasagana and i LOVED my pesto pasta. Everything was so fresh and tasted great. We'll be back!

Service, food, drink, and atmosphere were great. Chips salad is probably my favorite part of the meal. They pre mix the salad with the perfect about of cheese, dressing, and toppings so all you have to do is enjoy it. Highly recommend the Aperol spritz with any meal since it feels so light and refreshing pairs with pasta.

How's parking here?

Horrible! If you find a spot you're lucky. You are better off parking in a parking lot across from Amicci's

Does anyone in the Yelps know if there are glucose free options at this Restaurant?

I didn't see any gluten free options on the menu. i'm guessing you meant gluten free, not glucose free

I could not get enough of the beautiful view. I was slightly kicking myself for not taking a sunrise timelapse video. Upon checking in, my girlfriend and I took a quick tour of the lobby and the bar upstairs. We opted to grab a cup of coffee at Formula Espresso (the coffee shop/convenience store in the lobby). They use Illy espresso beans which are some of my favorite. We each ordered latte's and they were delicious. Formula Espresso also has a small wine selection, we picked up a bottle so we could have a drink in our room before dinner while taking in the incredible view. While we were touring the hotel, someone stopped by and dropped off some chocolates which paired perfectly with the bottle of red we picked up and it made for a great pre-dinner snack. The hotel restaurant is called Explorers Lounge and it has a bit of a safari feel to it which matches the global feel of the menu. We started with apps and shared the Thai Chicken Tower which had the most delightful peanut sauce. I'm a sucker for peanut sauce and I couldn't get enough of this dish. We also tried the Sonesta Grilled Beef Turnover which I think was my favorite bite of the evening. The grilled steak was griddled in a tortilla with onions and cheese and served with a creamy, spicy sauce. It was a great way to start the meal. For our entrees, my girlfriend went with the Steak Diane. The grilled sirloin was served with onions and tomatoes over a creamy risotto. This was the ultimate steak dinner and she loved every bite. I ordered the Grilled Crusted Pacific Salmon. The dish was so fresh and light and I was crazy about the citrus butter sauce. Another great dish. After dinner, we enjoyed some of the chocolates that the hotel sent over and the bottle of wine we picked up. We also filled out the room service breakfast card because there truly is nothing better than breakfast in bed. I did make it a point to wake up early to catch the sunrise over the harbor which was truly stunning. When breakfast came, it was a delicious spread of all of our breakfast favorites. We decided to share a little bit of everything. It was all delicious but the French Toast really satisfied my sweet tooth. After breakfast, unfortunately it was time to check out. I'm already planning my next trip back to soak in the beautiful views and sample more of their delicious food.

We order the turkey club, hush puppies, cream of crab soup, the charcuterie board, fries, and fried oysters to share. The turkey club was the star of the show. It had nice layers of avocado, the chicken was cooked well, and the bacon added a nice touch. For drinks we stuck to the margaritas and they were perfect! I would say you can skip the fries, the seasoning was great the batch of fries we had seemed like they might not have been fresh. The rest of the menu was so good I would still say you could skip the fries and order a double serving of hush puppies.

We immediately asked the hostess for a different table. She told as that the three booths and the six other two-tops were all reserved. She left us with no attempt at an apology and promptly put reserved signs on all the open tables. When we left an hour later, one booth and 4 two-tops had never been used. Much to our dismay, we saw people seated outside even though we had received a text before arriving saying the patio was closed for the evening. To add insult to injury, even half empty, the noise level was so uncomfortable since everything was tile, marble, or wood that the alarm sensor on my smart watch sounded because of the decibel level. We will not be back.
