I recently locked myself out of my car in the middle of the night. I googled Chicago Locksmiths and ended up calling this company. The tech showed up in 15 minutes, YES just 15 minutes after I hung up with the dispatcher. I was in my car and headed home 5 minutes after he showed up. He was fast, personable, and while calling a locksmith in the middle of the night is always expected to be more expensive, the price seemed more than fair for the outstanding service provided. My bike lock was jammed and Max came out and cut it in about 15 minutes. I had to call twice after I didn't get a call back initially, but other than that it was an all around positive experience. Not cheap ($100), but no locksmith will be. read more

After years of frustration with getting really bad keys cut at Home Depot & Menards, I was so happy to stumble across these guys. I am a realtor and a landlord and need new keys cut often. Chicago Locksmith has all types of keys, even the weird ones, and I have never had a problem with any of them and their prices are the same. On top of it, super great customer service, I send all of my clients to Mike on Milwaukee because he really knows his stuff and can make recommendations on all sorts of things from basic mailbox keys to high end security systems. Phone operators don't usually put their sense of humor on full display, but the one I spoke to sure did when I called in. A technician arrived within three hours of my call and called several times before that to give me status updates. Upon arrival, he was friendly and worked very fast. He replaced two locks and I'm happy to say I can now lock my garage again. read more

Within two hours of calling, Tory and Matt showed up and were extremely helpful in getting us new locks for our condo building and new keys cut for our entire building. Tried installing an August lock on our door and totally messed our lock as it was not compatible... If you ever get an August lock, make sure to triple check if it's compatible. Anyhow, i was locked out at 11pm and Kenny came onsite and had to use a crowbar to open it. He did a fabulous job minimizing the damage despite having to use a crowbar. Had to order some new equipment to install and Kenny finished the job the following week. Not ideal to be locked out or have to replace locks, but if you need a locksmith, would definitely recommend. read more

He tried to save me having to buy a new lock for one that was acting up, but couldn't. Turns out the old one not only was corroded, but installed badly. I called Chicago Locksmith and I spoke with Maricela. I had to change my locks after I left my keys in my car. Again. The worker came after 40 minutes and got me in my car. Agh!
