I recently locked myself out of my car in the middle of the night. I googled Chicago Locksmiths and ended up calling this company. The tech showed up in 15 minutes, YES just 15 minutes after I hung up with the dispatcher. I was in my car and headed home 5 minutes after he showed up. He was fast, personable, and while calling a locksmith in the middle of the night is always expected to be more expensive, the price seemed more than fair for the outstanding service provided. Tried installing an August lock on our door and totally messed our lock as it was not compatible... If you ever get an August lock, make sure to triple check if it's compatible. Anyhow, i was locked out at 11pm and Kenny came onsite and had to use a crowbar to open it. He did a fabulous job minimizing the damage despite having to use a crowbar. Had to order some new equipment to install and Kenny finished the job the following week. Not ideal to be locked out or have to replace locks, but if you need a locksmith, would definitely recommend. read more

Phone operators don't usually put their sense of humor on full display, but the one I spoke to sure did when I called in. A technician arrived within three hours of my call and called several times before that to give me status updates. Upon arrival, he was friendly and worked very fast. He replaced two locks and I'm happy to say I can now lock my garage again. read more

After removing all of my locks, Kenny left me alone in my house for 15 minutes without warning or letting me know where he was going. I am having my locks changed for personal safety reasons and this is not OK. I called the office to ask if this was standard procedure and they admitted it wasn't. When Kenny returned, he was upset with me and tried to convince me that I was overreacting to the point of further upsetting me greatly. When he finally continued working, he laid out metal tools and components directly on my wood floor. When I asked him to please work on the rug inches from him instead, he stormed out to call his office and talk very badly of me within earshot of me. He finally started working again but remained on the phone for awhile talking about his schedule and other topics. He never once apologized for leaving me alone or upsetting me nor did he try to understand why you don't leave a woman with personal safety issues alone in a house without locks for an extended time. I wanted 0 stars but that wasn't an option read more

Our locksmith was quick, courteous, and very professional. We had a jiggly doorknob that was stuck. Despite my puppy's frantic barking, he was able to get me inside my unit before my kitchen was lined with dog shit. What a great guy! Cannot wait to get locked out again.
