We tried to install a new door handle on our front door. We ran into an issue with the latch not working correctly at the top. When we installed it we used the bottom existing hole, and there was no issue. As you can see in the picture there is now a new random, not needed, additional screw. It looks ugly. The tech didn't ask if he could install it like that. He just did. How did he think this looked alright? Why didn't he bother to ask us. The tech was nice, and the rest of the work was good. Lies. The place is full of lies. I normally only come here to write positive reviews so for me to want to write a negative one means something. First of, I call in and explain to dispatch my situation. She tells me she'll give me a call back, saying she'll speak with a locksmith in my location. After waiting 15 minute I decide to call back. She apologizes and then proceeds to give me a quote, $125 to be exact. The price is the price, i'm fine with that. However, if i'm paying $125 I do not expect to be waiting for more than 45 minutes. This is reasonable right? I explain that to her and she says it won't be no more than 30! I rejoice and say that's fine hoping in the next 30 minutes I will be able to get into my van. She tells me that a locksmith in the area will call me within the next 10 minutes with an ETA. Ok, cool. I wait about 20 minutes, no call. I call in to the dispatch once again. Again I get another dry apology. She assures me that I will receive a call in the next few minutes. At this point I have been locked out for an hour. The locksmith calls and I explain to him I was told he could be here in 30 minutes. Can you guess what happens next? Another lie! He tells me he's an hour and 45 minute away. I tell him never mind. I wanted to call that lady back and give her a few words, but I remembered not everyone is all together in their head. After being locked out for an hour and a half, I called another locksmith who got there in 15 minutes and charged me $90. :) read more

The locksmith was professional and able to complete the job as requested, and he give me the required number of keys. He was quick and demonstrated that all the new keys worked properly. Later on, I realized I needed additional sets made so I went to the office and got more copies made. These guys are great. Paul took care of me when I went in for a replacement key for my motorcycle. Turns out my particular key is very specific and they couldn't make me a replacement BUT Paul went out of his way to research it and educate me on what made that key so difficult to make and he offered me some good advice on what to do from there. So, regardless of the outcome, their customer service is tremendous. I had a couple of house keys duplicated while I was there and Paul, being kind and also feeling bummed that he couldn't help me more, wouldn't accept my money. Went to get standard keys copied, and am so glad I stopped here instead of the usual big orange box store I've used to duplicate keys previously. I have keys that are notoriously hard to get working copies of - they are copies, of copies, of copies, and there are 4 of them, 3 in the same style. I was in and out in under 10 minutes (less than the time it takes to find the key guy elsewhere!), and ALL of the copies work like a charm. On top of it, the tech cutting them noticed they were all identical shape/color keys, so he used different metal colors and head shapes to more easily use them in the correct locks without fumbling through the whole ring. It is such a small thing, but it makes such a huge difference. I highly recommend this location for making key copies that work, and the awesome customer service is much appreciated, too! read more

Very bad experience and terrible customer service! (would like to give them minus 3 stars if possible) I was there hoping to get a quick replacement of my lost car key. I showed up in the morning explained that i need a replacement key with "remote built-in". They told me yes and they can order the key w/ remote and get it within 2-3 days . I specifically explained to them before leaving the store that the remote is part of the key and not separate remote (its built-in with the key). They said they understood and will place the order so i can get it asap. I decided to pay them in full instead of paying partial since i took in consideration their good reviews in yelp. Tuesday is the day i was supposed to get my key, surprisingly l did not get a call.. so I called only to find out its not ready. They the told me I will get it Wed...wed comes... no key. Their excuse.... is there vendor made a wrong order! bogus. Finally, key arrives Thursday! Stop by to get it all set-up and they order a wrong key with a separate remote!!!! I was very upset and told them i specifically requested for a key w/ built in remote. Then they told me it does not come with the model of my car.. another bogus statement!!! I then showed the pic in Ebay that they can buy a key with remote that they can program. To make it worst they can't even program the remote and get it to work! A waste of my time!!! I left the store very upset and to top it off not even an ounce of apology was offered. The following day i found out they refunded me not the full amount ... it was $10 dollar short ( but i called so they can refunded another $10 for their mistake ... again no apologies offered) !!!! Quick and Easy! I had to get some keys copied and turns out I couldn't have picked a better place! I got worried when I walked in and nobody was at the front desk, but a few seconds later someone walked in and took care of me. I had 7 keys to copy and brought my own key blanks to make things easier. It honestly took me longer to put my keyring back together than how long it took for them to copy the keys. Altogether I was back in my car in less than 10 minutes. It's a small shop and they get right down to business. There's two chairs in case there's a wait, but I didn't have to use them. Lots of safes and alarm systems on display and for demo as well which was neat. So far the keys I used work. They said I can comeback if I run into any problems. read more
