It's late night pizza. If this place wasn't open late night, I wouldn't go. The main reason to order from here is if you are out past 2.

I work nights and at least once a week I get home so late the last thing I want to do is cook so we order from here VERY often. They have a wide variety of choices and for the price, its usually pretty ok. From all the times I have ordered over the last 5 years I have only had a few bad experiences. 1.) the Chicken Parmesan sandwich was really gross, note to self, do not order that again... 2) I am leery of their salads. Twice they have made me sick to my stomach. I figure they are either not washing the salad fixings or worse, not washing their hands. Things to know... delivery is quick and they rarely screw up your order Burgers are ok, not great (bun is a little rubbery) but pretty good for late night They do not make ANY substitutions. If you want something with veggies instead of meat you will be charged extra for the veggies and still charged full price for the item with the meat even if the meat is excluded. Also, I would not recommend their chicken wings at all. That's about it. Over all we like this place. If my bad experiences were my only experiences, I may think differently but we have seriously ordered from here over 100 times and my ok experiences outweigh the bad. read more

I dont know about their pizza ,I havent tried it,I was hungry one late night,ordered the simplest thing salami and cheese sendwich tried one bite and threw in the garbage because the Italian dressing made this sandwich taste like Im chewing bread doaked in vinegar! read more

Gluten-free folks (and their coworkers) rejoice! This spot really is the epitome of gluten-free - they can make basically anything (pizza! Pasta! Focaccia!) without gluten. They apparently make it all in-house too. We ordered two pizzas (one deep dish gluten-free, one regular thin crust), and people honestly preferred the gluten free deep dish. You wouldn't know it was anything out of the ordinary if they didn't tell you. The spinach deep dish was quite good. I was a little disappointed in the supreme just for the toppings mix - lots of peppers and onions, relatively little pepperoni and mushroom (which are my favorites!). That said, they were definitely all on there. The house salad was basically just lettuce and carrots, I wouldn't order that again. Food arrived a few minutes late to the Loop (more like 12:15 on a 12:00 delivery). We'd skip the sides but would definitely order takeout pizza from them again. read more

I order the Boneless Buffalo Wings at least once a week. For a pound of the no-mess addictions, it's only $6.95. Great deal! Their pasta and soup is great. The salad was a little lacking, honestly - limp lettuce leaves and onions is not exactly my idea of salad. But I don't order from Chicago's Pizza for their salad. Highly recommend. read more

Chicago's pizza is awesome. They are super reliable, the pizza is great and they have Gluten Free pizza in any size (and it's great). They are experts in customer service and the few times they've made a mistake, they've taken responsibility and fixed it. They even fix it when i've made a mistake in my order. Chicago's definitely has a great assortment of food to choose from. I order delivery from here on a near weekly basis, and I've never been terribly disappointed. The gourmet pasta's are okay, but nothing mind-blowing. The Bruschetta is tasty and very fresh. I was slightly disappointed with the Caprese salad, as I feel it wasn't worth what I paid. The pizza is on par and the prices are reasonable. Delivery has always been fast and friendly, but I did have one experience that left me very angry. They had quoted me the wrong price, and when I went to pay the delivery man, I told him I need to go grab a few more dollars. As I went to close the door, he tried to push it in, as if I was trying to rip him off. It was actually a bit scary, so I tipped him accordingly. Chicago's Pizza has been my family's favorite restaurant for 19 years. There are 3 reasons why we patronize this beautiful establishment. 1. Their freshly baked pizzas are prepared with the freshest ingredients. You can taste the quality of their mozzarella cheese, in house pizza sauce, and their sausage. 2. Professional and friendly staff- their waiters/waitresses are extremely attentive to their customers. My family has always been attended/treated superbly by their professional staff. 3. Last but not least, this place is impressively cleaned. You can notice that this establishment makes it a priority to maintain a clean environment for their customers. By far the best pizza in the city! I don't love that it costs us $25-$30 a pop, but I won't order from anywhere else.

I was staying at the Monaco Kimpton Chicago to be near the 3 day LOLLAPALOOZA concert we were attending. I am from Texas, I know NOTHING about a great pizza from Chicago and my boyfriend does not like Chicago deep dish, so I asked the Concierge, and he said you gotta try Lou Malnati's. Well, my boyfriend and I looked at the menu and we didn't see anything similar to what we wanted, like a greek or mediterranean style pizza. TWO hours later, after looking online for what we wanted in our price range and in our delivery route, we gave up and called the front desk again. Well this time we got the overnight front desk clerk, and she said Chicago's was really good, and once she mentioned, they make their own dough including pasta, I was sold! We looked on the website and found 2 options for coupons, so we chose the order for free wings with a $25 purchase I think, maybe less. We ordered the GRECIAN DELIGHT, Fettuccine Alfredo, Ceasar Salad, and the free wings (8) for under $30. We ate this two nights in a row, it was sooooo good. I have pictures I will post soon. I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. They've never dissapointed me until the last 2 delivery orders. A couple weeks ago we ordered the rigatoni gorgonzola. They've always provided plenty of sauce, which I love. I hadn't ordered it in a long time and decided to order extra sauce anyway,with an additional charge. When it arrived, it was dry as a bone. I was super suprised and figured it was just a mistake. I called, the manager was not pleasant but said they'd replace it, They also wanted me to send the other back. The delivery guy was surprised they wanted the old order back. The replacement was what I expected. We placed another order last night for a stuffed Chicago Special, gluten free with extra smoked gouda. The pizza arrived with less cheese than any thin crust I've ever ordered before. The gouda was undetectable and there were barely any toppings in the pizza at all. Seriously, it was almost all dough. Needless to say we were really dissapointed. I don't know if the management has changed and they just don't care anymore or if the only way to go is with the thin crust pizza. After wasting $40. last night, I'm highly unlikely to order from Chicago Pizza anymore. So sad. read more

So me and my friends order from this place a lot. However's tonight's experience completely turned us off I don't know if we'll ever order from this place again. We order food from here at least once a week (sometimes mutiples). Tonight, we had a friend who was lactose intolerant so she couldn't eat any cheese with lactose in it. I suggested their goat cheese and prosciutto pizza sine goat cheese doesn't have any lactose. I placed the order, asking for no mozzarella, sub extra goat cheese in it's place. I also mentioned that our friend is lactose intolerant. They called us back saying they'll have to charge extra for goat cheese. No problem. Then when the pizza arrived it appeared to contain mozzarella cheese so we called back asking for a replacement. The lady over the phone said sure, they'll send a new one and to return the old pizza to the driver. Then she called back saying it was actually fontina cheese and since we didn't mention no fontina cheese so they weren't going to replace it. I told her we mentioned the lactose intolerant in the order but she kept telling us over and over we didn't write no fontina. I was really irritated since they didn't have a problem calling us for extra charge but couldn't accommodate a simple request? If someone mentions an allergy/intolerance, they should be able to easily accomodate the customer. Perhaps it was our fault for forgetting to write no fontina, but we felt that they could've easily avoided the situation. Our poor friend just ended up eating the crust and we were embarrassed for recommending this place. Dear Chicago's pizza and pasta. I've spent a good sum of money at your place but thanks to your lack of consideration, we'll be taking our business elsewhere from now on. I've eaten pizza by the slice from Chicago's Pizza off and on for years, but this was my first time to order for delivery. Ordering on-line was fairly easy, though I was disappointed that I could not start with a gourmet pizza and customize it. The "build your own" thin, stuffed and deep dish work pretty well but don't offer all the options. A 10" stuffed pizza is plenty for two normal eaters and comes out to a reasonable price. Ordering with a lot of toppings gets pricey at around $3.20/topping for a large pizza. My biggest complaints were: 1) the website promised delivery at a specific time about 40 minutes after ordering, but when I called after 50 minutes, I was told that was wrong. You have to plan on a hour, especially for a stuffed or deep dish pizza. In any case the pizza did arrive very shortly thereafter. 2) Frankly the stuffed pizza did not hold up well in half hour or so after it left the store -- crust got very soggy. 3) When I ordered on-line, the website did not present the total price -- it gave me the price before tax and delivery. Upon later examination, I noticed the confirming email did have the total price. The delivery guy was polite and friendly. I'll try them again, as I am preferring to go with a local pizza company. With proper expectation of delivery time I will probably feel more satisfied next time. read more

Ordered from here the other night. Prices are super reasonable and you get a pretty large portion plus salad and bread. We both got pasta entrees which were good but pretty heavy and a kind of generic taste. I'd probably go for pizza next time but not a bad choice especially for families or groups. read more

I recently ordered a large stuffed pizza from this Chicago's Pizza location and was completely disapointed. It probably would have been good had it been cooked through. The top layer of dough was still gooey and stretchy as if raw. I proceeded to call and was transferred to the manager who was completely unprofessional. He insisted that if I got another pizza sent it would be the same and that they cook their pizza's for thirty five minutes and that it is cooked through. Ummm... I think not. He was not the one standing in front of it and I am sure they do not check each pizza leaving their establishment. I settled with him sending me another and asked to have it baked for an extra five minutes (xwell until it was cooked preferably). The phone call ended with me saying thanks, and him rudely hanging up on me. How's that for customer service! read more

One star is for their manager who is totally unreasonable. I wanted delivery for a pizza and I live literally 4 blocks outside their delivery map and they refused to deliver. I then said fine, I'll meet them at the border of their delivery area and provided a clear address within the delivery area and he was unwilling to do that either. This is in the loop area, not some high crime area in town. Totally unreasonable, not impressed. Needless to say they will never see my business even if I was looking to dine in their neighborhood. read more

My wife and I ate dinner in the restaurant and had no problem with the food. My wife's pizza was good and my chicken sandwich was OK. The server was good. The problem was that they "nickeled and dimed" me to a point that should embarrass them. I ordered a chicken parmigiana sandwich, which, on the menu said that it came with provolone cheese. I asked if I could get mozzarella instead; the server said "sure" When the bill came, the check had $1.50 additional charge for the mozzarella cheese. I asked for a little side of marinara sauce; they charged me additional $.75. I asked for a little extra honey mustard dressing for my salad; they charged me an additional $.75. We're not talking about a lot of money here, but it's the principle. Every other restaurant does not charge extra when you ask for "just a little more" sauce or dressing. And-why not tell you that there's an extra charge? I call that cheap and petty. They have good pizza but this experience made me re-think going back there. There are a lot of places for great pizza. This place disappointed me in the way they do business and should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I've ordered delivery from here a few times with no issues ( hooray for good gluten free pizza!). Tonight I had a very weird encounter with the delivery guy though. It took much longer than normal and when I went down he immediately started asking me questions. It was obvious his English wasn't great, but After some back and forth I finally realized he was telling me his phone was dead and wanted to use mine to call the store. I let him, not anticipating it was going to involve me listening to a 10 minute convo between him and his manager yelling at each other about where his next delivery was. When he finally gave me the pizza (and 15 carry out menus?!!) it was barely warm. The whole thing was just odd....otherwise I've had great experiences. Guess it was an off night. read more

I have always been a loyal customer to you guys and I am appalled at the service I received today from your restaurant.I rarely encountered issues when ordering from your website. Today I used the new website ordering tool. The process went fine and it gave no option to use a different sauce but in the special instructions area I clearly typed that i wanted alfredo sauce in my order. It states on your website that its still in the testing process so I was shocked when I called the restaurant and explained what had happened to the gentleman i spoke with. I told him that i put in the request in the special instructions area and he just continued to repeat to me that I did not plug it in. I know I plugged it in but took it to mean that the new system must have not recorded it.I have always received great service from you guys and all I wanted was to send back the wrong order and get the one i wanted.
