So I've been doing some online ordering from them the past few weeks. I went from ordering their market burritos, to their bowls, and then their tacos. Along with these, I've also ordered their coconut cream horchata. I think all of these taste somewhat off.. it's either bland, or the salsa is missing something that gives it that authentic kick. But recently, I had fish battered & braised pork tacos and all of the tortillas were extremely hard. The menu isn't cheap, so this place needs to do a lot more to make their food more tasty. Met my wife here after work for dinner. There is no parking. Guard in front entrance told me parking was across the street or in the parking structure.Either way you need to pay. Apparently I read the signs wrong on the street and parked in a bus lane along with several other vehicles. Ended up getting $300 tickets each\nThat had to be paid within ten days. Food was trash. Their menu has expanded from the previous location.But the taste in presentation left. I don't like to complain much, but that was an expensive evening.For food that I will never crave again. Chica's Tacos is located in the back part of All Seasons Brewery on LaBrea & 8th street! It's an amazing concept where you order your drinks at the bar and food at the kitchen area. This really helps when you attending a medium large party (or a meet up) and you don't want to have to split the bill will a group of people. Order and pay for your own things. I was torn between the nachos and the street fries. The nachos won. The cashier will ask you your phone number when ordering your food. After ordering my food. They'll send you a message once your meal is ready. I went back to my friends and conversed. Then my phone buzzed and my order was ready. My nachos and drink was is a cool pink tray. Grabbed me a napkin, fork and straw then headed back to my friend's table. The portions are great, ingredients were tasty and my fountain drink was totally refreshing. This is a little spot inside the All Season Brewery Company (the building with the Firestone sign). We went on Cinco de Mayo before the place started getting busy around 3pm. Speaking just for Chicas Tacos, we actually tried Mexican style pizza and it was actually pretty good---perfect balance of meat and cheese with some heat). The pizza itself wasn't made from dough but from tortilla so it was just the perfect snack for 2 (although my friend and I eat a lot so it probably would be a good portion for 3). We added a side of guacamole for a small extra charge and it was fantastic. You order from a kiosk and get a text message when the order is ready at the pick-up window. It was super good, and it seemed like a healthy burrito, not all gooey with too much cheese, etc. It wasn't gigantic, but it was plenty filling. I think healthier food is much more satisfying and this is a really good burrito. My friend had tacos, one beef, and one chicken. He loved both of them. They have street corn on the menu, I had to try it. I'm super glad I did because it's fantastic!! It was about $5 and well worth every bite. So if you're not a taco fan, they have other options for you. You order at a self-service kiosk, and then they text you when your order is ready. They weren't too busy while we were there, but service is a little slower. Took about 30 minutes for us to get 3 tacos. They were definitely pricier, too - We paid about $20 for 3 tacos. The shrimp taco was good - pleasantly surprised with the flavor. Steak taco was decent, nothing special to talk about - the tortilla was probably the best part of that taco. Chicas Tacos is a solid spot in LA. Mostly everything is self-service though, so if you're looking for a sit down/full-service spot this isn't for you. On the other hand, self ordering on the kiosk, and picking up at the window was a contactless and seamless process. I lived in LA for a few years and I would say these tacos were good, super flavorful, but pricey. I really liked the chicken and steak tacos, but for the combo, I feel like they could have given a little more than a handful of chips (doesn't cost that much more!) With that said, it's not often you find good food inside of a brewery, and their location is perfectly located in the back of All Seasons. After having lived in San Diego for three years, my boyfriend and I are self-proclaimed taco snobs and we were extremely impressed with Chicas Tacos. We ordered the braised pork and steak tacos and topped it with the habanero salsa and it was FIRE! We've searched LA far and wide for the best tacos including spots like King Taco, Guisado's, and popular taco trucks on the west side, but I have to admit this is definitely top three on my list! What I like about it is the authenticity of the tacos that rely mainly on the flavor in the meat and minimal add-on toppings without the pretentious fillings like a lot of "modern taco spots" offer. There are a variety of other items on the menu such as ceviche, elote, horchata and agua frescas, so there is a little of something for everyone as well! Moreover, the food: I would've loved more topping offerings for the tacos considering the price. The tacos weren't bad at all in flavor but nothing I would be craving however glad they had lots of dietary options for pescatarians, vegans, and meat lovers This space is huge and street parking was easy but could've been the time of the day. It wasn't busy at all and loved their drink options but chose not to indulge. This is a gem to me. I had the chance to visit this place on my first visit to LA. I had a great time catching up with some friends from college. I had the barbacoa taco and a fish taco on this visit. Both tacos were really good. My friend Brandon got the nachos so I had a little bit of that as well. The corn tasted wet as if they don't actually grill them they just fake torch them to give grilled looking black marks it's all fake.
