    Bowl with chips and salsa

This was a solid place! I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but considering it's located in a brewery for bar food this is quite good and reasonably priced. I had the fish burrito and I thought was a decent size/price and my friend got one of the bowls and liked it too. You order at the counter and you get a text message when your food is ready and you can pick up at the window. There is not much parking around here, but it was a casual environment that allowed babies, dogs, everyone!

This is a little spot inside the All Season Brewery Company (the building with the Firestone sign). We went on Cinco de Mayo before the place started getting busy around 3pm. Speaking just for Chicas Tacos, we actually tried Mexican style pizza and it was actually pretty good---perfect balance of meat and cheese with some heat). The pizza itself wasn't made from dough but from tortilla so it was just the perfect snack for 2 (although my friend and I eat a lot so it probably would be a good portion for 3). We added a side of guacamole for a small extra charge and it was fantastic. You order from a kiosk and get a text message when the order is ready at the pick-up window. The lady gave us paper plates and plastic utensils. Nothing fancy but got the job done!

The perfect little Mexican restaurant inside of All Season's Brewing. I wouldn't say they're going to win a Michelin start any time soon, but overall solid tacos, they have a pretty good variety, customer service is good, and it's the perfect munch spot while you're at the brewery with friends. I've gotten tacos both times I've eaten here and they were great.

(Dined 04/29/24 MO @ 5:00pm): Yeah... chicas and tacos! Located inside All Season Brewing which was located inside the L.A. landmark former Firestone Tire And Service Center, I was happy to see Chicas Tacos as a nice option to potentially absorb any beers I intended to imbibe in. Although I loved how more breweries had onsite resident eateries (I had no idea that was the situation here), I equally-favored the various food trucks that made the rounds (this brewery location wasn't conducive to food trucks due to the lack of immediate parking space). Mexican food was one of my favorites, and whenever I returned from traveling abroad, this was the first cuisine I wanted to touch my lips. How would these chicas' tacos pair with my beers!? PURCHASE Market Bowl w/Chicken ($10.49): So, I surprisingly opted for this instead of tacos. With the option of other meats, this was basically a deconstructed burrito without the tortilla wrapping in a bowl with a side of freshly-made tortilla chips. This pretty much had all the ingredients of a burrito which was more like a salad without it being in a large flaky tortilla shell. I enjoyed this seemingly healthier version while the chicken pieces were tasty and everything else was fresh and flavorful. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=f4rU2939w1NMNJ8M-TEf4g SERVICE I strolled towards the order counter as a friendly young woman greeted me. I needed a moment to decide what to order. Once I knew what I wanted, I ordered, was given a buzzer, about 15 minutes later it went off like a light show, and I collected my food at the side pick-up window; easy-peasy - salud! PARKING (Varied; FREE this instance) Although I parked across the street at the shopping center and made a quick purchase at Lassens in order to get my parking validated for an hour or so, there appeared to be plenty of parking along the main drags of La Brea Ave. and 8th St., respectively, and all surrounding side streets, if you were lucky enough to find an open spot. They also offered valet parking after 5pm MO-SA. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located against the back wall in a built-in kitchen shack, you had an order window with a real person or your choice of a couple self-order kiosks while the menu was legibly posted above the order window. The decorative motif of the shack harkened back to this space's former life as a tire factory and mechanic service facility. They shared a spacious large main floor with some games, a separate private room, and a front outdoor patio (pets allowed here only), all filled with chairs and tables. Plenty of natural lighting came through the large surrounding windows and doors while a ton of assorted electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs throughout while rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=-U5lCUypozjbfRM0R_c_6Q ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I appreciated Chicas Tacos, but unless I was having beers at All Season Brewing, I wouldn't go out of my way mainly because of the congested area and lack of decent parking. I loved my healthier Mexican food, the menu was very limited (they had pizza which was odd), the prices were comparable, and the service was straightforward which I always loved. Plus, I always preferred to support local small businesses whenever possible. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $11.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS

The Crispy Taco Supreme and Shrimp Tacos
    Dan S.

Yo-- Chica's crispy taco supreme may just be my new favorite vegan goodie in L.A.!!!! Really can't say enough good things out this little taco stand located inside All Season Brewing on LaBrea. Great food, friendly service and most impossible plenty of VEGAN options! As I mentioned, the crispy taco Supreme is just the best and I could eat them alllll day, but I also got the jackfruit taco and loaded nachos and can highly recommend both!

    Chicken tacos

I had two chicken tacos at the Broad Stage theater on their plaza before a show. The lady who helped me were very kind and the tacos were absolutely delicious!

OG Pizza is good- the cheese they use is delicious and their tortillas are so good. The portion is decent as two people can easy split this and feel satisfied. The tacos were okay, but didn't feel too fresh and were served warm. Not a fan of the dining hall area this place is located as you may or may not find seating.

Beer-bartered fish taco with Caesar salad.
    Laurie B.

Tucked inside the All Seasons Brewery on La Brea is Chica's, an unassuming taco stand that serves outstanding, healthy takes on Mexican street food. The shrimp taco was packed with fresh grilled fish drizzled with morita aioli while the beer-battered fish taco was a salad in a tortilla--a generous helping of seafood topped with a Caesar salad. There are so many other great options to try, which means I'll be back for more.

    Beef, chicken, jackfruit, fish tacos

The food is aesthetically pleasing and well presented, braised beef was overly salty and not really good. Cooked and braised correctly though. They are serving tacos on a cold premade tortilla. All my tacos were cold, but my tortilla not heated up is sad. The only reason why you'd eat here is because it's the only munchie spot in a brewery. The pizza is overly sauced. But otherwise pretty basic and would pass as a drinking food. Would not come back to eat though.

    loaded Fries
    Vian N.

the best part about this place is its convenience; it's located in a bar serving some tacos, nachos, and pizza. we tried the loaded nachos which were sopping wet. the fries were all limp, just lackluster. the honey habenero sauce option helped the flavor somewhat. the pizza was interesting, served on layered crispy crust. it's nice to have something shareable to munch on as you drink with friends, but definitely not a staple to visit.

We came to All Season Brewing to pregame and grab a bite before hitting the club and it was the best decision ever I ordered a steak and a pork taco. These tacos were fat!!! So much flavor and quite impressive coming from a brewery

    Beer and Chicas
    Natalie J.

Chicas is conveniently located inside All Seasons Brewery. What a perfect way to enjoy tacos and beers. We decided to get the burrito with braised shredded beef for about $12 rather than going the taco route as they were $5/6. Since it was our first time trying we wanted to go big and indulge in a burrito rather than 3 tacos and be left hungry for more. You order at the countertop, plenty of seating at the brewery and they alert you when order is ready. Burrito was rolled in a flour tortilla filled with rice, beans, three cheese blend, house salsa, guac, and cilantro. It def was filling. I can see why price is up there. They did offer other items on the menu such as pizzas, quesadilla, wings, ceviche. I will say this, for the price and for what it is, a taco shop located inside a brewery, with fresh ingredients, it works. It would be unfair of me to categorize and rate this place to taco trucks. They are just different calibers, great in their own lanes, which is why in comparison to Trejo's Tacos, Chica's kills!

This location is closed? Then who are all those people at the newly renovated Firestone lined up for tacos daily? Ghosts? I was there, too, making a wide arc away from the bar to get to the yummy slow-braised pork and slow-braised beef tacos.

Hello! Thank you for the note and question. Yes, we are open and it was awesome to meet you. We have had a challenge updating our Yelp page to the new hours and location. We are working on it and look forward to welcoming you back.

Are they still open right now?

No, this location has closed. It's announced on their website, and I saw workers posting a banner on the store Saturday announcing the closure and new location in Miracle Mile. (They already had a location in Culver City.)

I got an 8 oz. jar of the Summit Trail Mix, which I really liked! It's not too salty and the dried fruits complimented the almonds so well. Enjoyed it so much that I kinda wish I opted for the bigger jar. Also, on top of the already steep price, there's a $3 bottle deposit. Since it was my first time here, the cashier let me know that you can get your deposit back if you bring the bottles/jars back to the store. After making my trail mix purchase, I got the strawberry glaze smoothie. My smoothie was ready pretty quickly. I'm not a big strawberry-flavor lover, but I really enjoyed this smoothie. It was the perfect refreshing drink for hot weather and walking around. I also felt very fitting and pretentious taking sips of my smoothie while strolling around Melrose. I definitely have to go back next time I'm in LA.. to get my bottle deposit back of course..

I asked her how things worked and she explained it all. The kefir/kombucha bottles are $4 for 16 oz and they have 3 of each on tap. I asked Marcy about one before realizing everything had a QR code and you can easily pull up the ingredients and descriptions/directions for each item. I'm getting away from plastics and this place scratches me right where I itch! They sell just about anything you can imagine! I was so impressed w the selection! They even have produce and fresh sourdough bread! The day old is 50% off and I'm so mad I was in a pinch and had to buy store bought bread, otherwise I would've tried it today. I can't say enough. Even the music was fire and I was shazaming and jamming. Shower gels, body care, non seed oils, baking mixes, laundry pods and things you see in bulk at like Sprouts, but the quality and sourcing seems to be better. Some items don't need jars and they sell paper bags for .10 each. I did a kombucha/kefir tasting. Marcy brought these steel bowls over. No waste at all! If you drink the POG kefir soda at Erewhon and love it, try it here! It's made w fruit and is noticeably better! And POG there is my fave. Just try it at Re_!!! So when I was checking out I asked Marcy about being more prepared and bringing my own glasses next time. They've thought of everything!!!! There's iPads and scales in the front of the store. They weigh your empty containers and give you a sticker with the tare weight and then subtract it from the weight at the end! Revolutionary! They add 3% for the employees. I should've added more. Marcy was amazing and worth it. I'm honestly not big on tipping everyone for just breathing but if all the employees are like Marcy, they are worth way more than 3%! If you sign up you get 100 points instantly, $1 = 1 pt, and at 200 pts you get $10! It's not hard to spend in places like this but it's beyond worth it. I keep seeing things about the harms of plastic and don't get me started on all the other crap in our food. I foresee this as a new staple in my diet and home. They even have cleaning products! I'm getting my spices here from now on too! I'm a fan and I'll be back! Thank you Marcy and to the owners that had this amazing idea!

The smoothies are great, they sometimes have samples. They're all delicious and they also can be paid with EBT. Their guac and chips was actually the best I've ever had from a grocery store. The guacamole had enough salt and lime, like... whole foods and chipotle guac was PUT TO SHAME. Well-seasoned, super chunky, cilantro, red onion, tomato, mmm, and those chips were actually fresh tortilla chips. So crunchy and light. So yum. God. Their sandwich was insane. Slices and heaps of chicken breast for double the price of a sprouts sandwich and quadruple times more tasty. Don't second guess it, just get it!!! BBQ chicken and ranch salad was insane. I ate it in like 10 mins and my stomach was bulging. When you see it, it will be irresistible. The grilled chicken is marinated and covered in a sweet bbq sauce and their housemade ranch is seasoned deeply, comparable to wingstop's ranch. Crunchy lil tortilla chips and crunchy salad with some roasted corn. Every single thing in that plate had its own flavor, unlike the prepackaged slop at other stores. However, it was close to $20... The fruit tart was FRESH and yummy, a tad sweet, but all the fruit was incredibly quality. The crust left a little to be desired, but great nonetheless. Their hot deli food is great too. We got a parm crusted chicken breast and it was very juicy and flavorful. The samples were great, even their curry is packed with flavor. Some of the prices here are cheaper than whole foods, but some are more expensive. I really love Rainbow Acres, but some of their prices can be expensive. However, when factoring in the quality, freshness, and how the food is SIMPLE AND CLEAN AND HOPEFULLY AS ETHICAL AS IT CAN BE, it justifies the prices. The employees are always helpful, so it does help to imagine that the higher prices go to them as well. I'm really happy that this place exists. It's not pretentious and makes clean eating accessible for anyone.

I'm really disappointed writing this because I've been a regular here for a long time. I live down…read morethe street and walk to Rainbow Acres almost every day to get the same thing, Chinese chicken salad plus whatever else I need. It's been part of my routine, and I've always trusted the quality. Unfortunately, my last visit completely changed that. I found a dead fly in my salad, which was honestly so disgusting and upsetting. It's hard to overlook something like that, especially from a place I come to so often and rely on. What made the experience even more frustrating is that I reached out through the online contact/question form and never heard back from anyone. A response or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Because of this experience, I don't feel comfortable coming back. It's really disappointing, but finding something like that in my food is something I just can't get past.

I've been coming to Lazy Acres for over a year, ever since moving into the neighborhood, and I'm…read morereally glad this store replaced the old Rite Aid. It feels like a huge upgrade. Overall, this is easily one of my go-to grocery stores in LA, and I literally stop by almost every day. The store is always organized, clean, and easy to shop. Not everything is organic, but they carry a lot of great products, and the overall selection is strong. I usually get my daily produce here, and I also buy wine here pretty often. The water refill area is always kept clean, which I appreciate, and their fresh juice section is one of my favorite parts of the store. The larger juices come in plastic, but the price on the orange juice is hard to beat, so I keep going back for it. I also like their prepared food section. During one stretch I was buying it pretty often and was always happy with the options, especially since a lot of the food avoids seed oils and uses grass-fed beef. They even have a live kitchen where you can sign up for classes and participate in food prep, which is a really cool touch and makes the store feel more thoughtful and community-oriented. The staff is another big plus. I've interacted with a lot of the cashiers and employees here, and they've all been sweet, personable, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. You can tell the people working here care and that the store is trying to offer a better experience. My only real issue is the meat and fish section. I've tried a lot from it over time--chicken breast, wings, ground wagyu, marinated items, branzino--and too often I've felt like I wasn't getting the freshest product. That's the one department that has consistently let me down. It's disappointing because the rest of the store is so strong. I also don't really understand why the wagyu ground beef costs almost double when it's formed into patties, but that's more confusing than a dealbreaker. At the end of the day, I still think Lazy Acres is one of the best grocery stores in LA, especially for convenience, cleanliness, product mix, and staff. But I've pretty much told myself to stop buying meat here, because for the same price I can get much better quality from a proper butcher. Since it's only a 3-minute walk from me, I'll absolutely keep coming back, just with a little more selectiveness about what I buy.

Let me get this out of the way: this is not your average grocery store. The produce department…read morelooked gorgeous, the meat counter was top-notch, and the fish was clearly fresh. The employees were genuinely helpful and a cut above what you usually find at a grocery store -- and yes, you pay a premium for that. I picked up some vegetables and fruit, and the pineapple was outstanding -- easily the best I've bought in the U.S. The vegetables were noticeably better than what I get at my local market. This is a great place to shop when you want high-end produce, meat, or fish. Would I do my weekly grocery shopping here? Probably not. But as a quality-focused stop, I really liked this store.
