Great food, fantastic service. Very efficient! This is our family's go-to place for excellent chicken!

Ever since this place opened up, we've been coming here every so often. Compared to other locations, we believe this Chick-fil-A is above average. I guess you can consider us regulars (and funny enough, we've spot other regulars here, too). First of all, they have ample parking spaces, including a little cul-de-sac parking lot with 2 handicapped spaces right up to the door. They have 2 drive-thru lanes, which they've now specified one lane for mobile orders (on the right) and the other lane for their regular drive-thru (on the left lane). Sometimes lines can get backed up during peak hours, but they tend to flow at an even pace. Food has been consistet in terms of taste and quality. Hot food is hot and cold food is cold. We've had their breakfast and lunch/dinner items and we have enjoyed our meals each time. For their hot beverage (i.e. coffee), I think it's pretty good esp. with their French vanilla creamer. My staple breakfast item is their Chicken, Egg & Cheese Muffin with their hash brown. My staple lunch/dinner item is their 4 piece Chicken Tenders with their Waffle Fries and a side of their Strawberry Milkshake. Every now and then I will get their Deluxe Chicken Sandwich or their Cobb Salad. Everything is delicious! Service has been outstanding, at least during the times we've been here. They are attentive, respectful, courteous, friendly, and hardworking. If they are not working the kitchen, they are outside taking orders (during peak hours), or cleaning tables/floors/restrooms. One of the ladies that usually works the floor will come by and ask us if we need anything and will offer to refill our beverages. Now that's service! Granted, it doesn't happen every single time, but we appreciate the offer, compared to other places. Another perk this place offers is Kid's Night every other Monday night (6-7:30pm). They have an Instagram account where you can get updates to those specific dates and activities. While you eat your meal, your kiddos can work on whatever crafts they have that day. Then the kiddos can enjoy FREE ice cream with their choice of toppings! Sometimes you might get to greet their Cow mascot! Honestly, it's a great treat for the whole family. Overall, we enjoy coming to this Chick-fil-A location. Sure, they're not perfect but at least they've done their best to offer great food and service. read more

Sorry, but this location is gross. Just gross. There is such an extreme nosedive in terms of the quality of the food and the service, it's almost laughable. Here's the rundown: +We ordered a 30-count nugget box, in which we ended up receiving only 19 (yes, we counted them, since it looked pretty light), overburnt, old chicken +The chicken sandwiches were both overcooked, where I would have usually liked it to be well-done/crispy, but this was as if they had old filets lying around and they 'fried' it again to serve it to their customers (the nerve!) +The mac n' cheese that we ordered had a pungent old smell, which anyone could tell that it had gone rancid +The side of the cheese sauce was grainy and not even warm +The waffle fries were all ends and soggy Yes, everything was tossed. The 'manager', Gabby, is dismissive of complaints; it seems as if this location's policy is for customers to call directly to the store, drive back to the actual location, return the food, to get a refund - what happens if you're just passing through and/or you're not from the area? Would this place pay for gas? We actually had contacted corporate, in which we didn't get a call until 2 days later (48 hours), in which Gabby was stating that we should have held onto the food until then to return, in-person, to the store - HA, can you believe this? We noted that we had photo docs, but it didn't matter. She also had the audacity to say that they did not receive any other complaints on the mac n' cheese for that evening - maybe it's because those people ended up in the hospital?! IJS. Hit the spot-would have loved a large non peach unsweetened Sun-joy instead and whipped cream on the frozen coffee. Both were refreshing and tasty on this warm Wednesday evening. Only complaint was going through the drive thru, the right lane was backed up and the young Asian boy was helping relieve the traffic while the girl in the left lane went and got water. Also, if you don't have enough delivery people close a lane. Kudos to the one kid with ponytail-he was hustling and serving both lanes. Another person came out curly hair guy, handed off 2 orders to the hustling kid which he dropped ( felt bad) but curly hair guy didn't come to help out. This particular Chick-fil-A is spacious with lots of tables inside and two outdoor patios. It's kept clean and orderly. However, service was pretty slow. Even without a line, the order area was slow and it took our food a long time to come out. read more

Worst chick fil a ever. I am a huge fan of the food but this time I am completely disappointed. Service was completely trash, Emily was inadequate I order a grilled chicken sandwich, two original and a cfa deluxe with pickles and bbq sauce all of them meals but I got 3 original sandwich and the only one right was the grilled chicken sandwich, unfortunately this lady couldn't get nothing right. Receipt says 4 coke and I received Pepsi when I was told that they did not have anything except for coke or lemonade. The sauces were also wrong rang me up for anything except what was ask. If I could give no stars, I would. Of course this is a fast food restaurant, so one comes with low expectations. But chick fil a prides on being customer service driven... well that's definitely not the case in this location. We usually place mobile orders. There have been countless of times when we get home and we are missing our sides or hamburgers. We've always let it fly because the hassle of driving back and waiting the long lines is not worth it. Today I placed a mobile order to save time but I was planing on eating at the restaurant with my kids. The app said my order was ready, so I went to get it and I was told that it had been cancelled. I showed them my app showing it was ready, transaction history, and credit card history showing that the charge had gone through. Nowhere did it say it was cancelled. A second employee was called and she wanted to charge me again for the whole order for 3 people. They finally called a manager, Gaby, who came with an attitude didn't even ask me any questions she just told me the order was cancelled. I again showed her the app and credit card and she said technology isn't her problem. I told her literally the chick fil an app was showing the order as ready but she said that was not her app and to call the 1 800 number. I showed her the credit card charge on my phone and she said it was probably pending, even though I told her so many times it wasn't. I literally asked her if she wanted me to call my bank. She was so incredibly rude and at this point I had wasted almost 30 minutes with my 2 small children right next to me, hungry waiting for their food. Finally she realized that the order in fact WASN'T cancelled, she just didn't even bother to ask any questions when she came to me with her nasty attitude. She proceeded to tell the two other employees that the order wasn't cancelled and pointed that it was in there by their shelf the whole time ready to be picked up. She didn't even apologize to me, I was so angry I told her "and you can't even apologize you just keep giving me your attitude" she has the nerve to tell me that I am the one with an attitude, well no kidding? You were about to steal from me once again. Yet the whole time you made it seem as if I was the one trying to steal food from you. This whole interaction would have worked way better if she had been nice an apologetic since the beginning and if she would have cared to do her "manager" job and asked me for an order number or even my name. I ordered a chik fil a chicken sandwich, fries, and a half n half. I picked my order up from the drive thru. I ingested two bites before I realized the sandwich was not cooked all the way through. I ended up vomiting profusely. Chik fil a is usually synonymous with quality goods and services, but this was a fail and I got so sick that I will not be back to this location. read more

It's a Chic-fil-A, so you know what to expect from the menu. The drive-through line moves pretty fast. What I have noticed, and not a good thing, is that the last three orders have been incomplete. For one of the orders, the manager gave me a free side. For the last incomplete order, the corporate office gave me a free side. The service was horrible. My sandwich was cold and when I went back the girl acted like I was bothering her. They gave it back to me and it was still cold. I said the sandwich is still cold and the cheese is wrong and she gave me attitude and said that was the right cheese. As a Georgia native, I take pride in Chick-fil-A. It has always been a home away from home for me. With that said, the locations in Springfield and Kingstowne, Virginia, have let me down over and over again. From mistaken orders to rude staff who barely acknowledge my existence when I walk up to the counter, these locations are as bad as it gets for Chick-fil-A. That's really saying something, as I've eaten at hundreds of locations across the country while traveling for work. I routinely eat at locations farther away to avoid these two, which are minutes from my home. To recap: bad service, mistaken orders, and a general cavalier and unhelpful approach from staff make the Springfield and Kingstowne locations a stain on Chick-fil-A's hard-earned reputation of making customers happy with every interaction. Super happy this location is up and running! Yes, there have been some bumps along the way however, thats to be expected with any new business. I have even gotten home to find a sandwich missing from my order and had to turn back around and drive several miles back to get said missing sandwich. I was not offered anything for my inconvenience. A cookie maybe? Points? Gas is expensive! Yesterday was my first visit to venture inside to dine with my daughter at 10 am. The place was filthy! Springfield was way over due for another Chick-fil-A. One thing I appreciate about this location is the long drive thru The staff is friendly and well trained. Their still working out their kinks but the line moves fast and food is fresh. Only recommendation is to check your bag and make sure you got all you ordered for. There's a common theme to all fast food places in this shopping center: poor service. This is hands-down the worst Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. It adheres to none of the employee standards you've come to expect from Chick-fil-A. Surly employees, dirty uniforms, getting orders wrong, and not even uttering a simple greeting let alone the usual "my pleasure" you hear at other CFAs. I visited the new Chick Fil a in Kingstowne and used the mobile app for my order. It was consistent by Chick Fil a like it always is. There was a small army of employees inside and a small army through the drive thru. The one thing that is nice is the outdoor seating, lots of it. Also there is a pick up parking lot between the drive thru and the dine in area which is nice. Traffic was not too bad I like the Backlick Road restaurant. read more

My kids love chick fila, but every time we go to this particular one, they 9 times out of 10 get our order wrong or leave something out. If you order your kid Mac n cheese, you will rarely get it in your bag. Order a spicy sandwich? You will get classic. I'll drive the extra minutes to go to the one in Springfield. If you call and report your $50 order is wrong, then you get a choice of driving all the way back or going in a green book. First time and maybe last time. Food was very bland and yuck! -even after the sauce! The service was very good though.

Last time I'll be going here after once again they missed an item in my bag and rudely accused me of lying. First, they'll stuff as much as possible in your bag... making it hard to thoroughly check if you have everything unless you take out everything they jammed pack. Also, this is the only location where employees look miserable... barely a hello! So, once you realize you are missing something, they'll argue with you that they double-check that all orders are accurate and will give you a hard time before finally giving your missing item. Really, I'm ordering $50+ of food and you want to tell me I'm lying about missing a small side to my meal? The food quality here has become the worst compared to other locations, so honestly I want to joke that I was better off missing the food from my bag. Sandwiches are overcooked and messy, fries are old and dried out, drink cups are always sticky or handed to you dripping. Rarely do I get my requested sauces. I really hope they step in to make improvements, especially with management because it's a nice and convenient location... but for now I'll make the extra trip to get better at another location. read more

Popped in and waiting in drive through. Ordered two sets of grilled nuggets. The kid taking the order accidentally put in fried nuggets so I had to turn around and go all the way back to the store. I popped up to the mobile order window and explained the mistake. The guys says- it says here you ordered regular nuggets. I know what I ordered buddy. He doesn't apologize and then proceeds to charge me 2.17 for the piece difference lol. My gas cost more to return. How about an apology for the mix up? Horrible training and customer service.
