I submitted a formal complaint through Chick-fil-A's corporate website following a recent experience at their State Bridge Road location in Alpharetta, and honestly, the response I received was extremely disappointing. I visited the restaurant during the lunch rush and placed a fairly simple order for my son and me. Due to the volume of traffic, employees were outside hand-delivering drive-thru orders rather than customers receiving them directly at the drive-thru window. When our order was brought to the vehicle, I immediately noticed we had been given three drinks instead of two. Thinking another customer's drink may have been accidentally mixed into our order, I advised the employee that we had ordered only two drinks. She reviewed the order slip attached to our bag and stated that we had, in fact, been charged for three drinks. She then asked if I wanted the additional drink refunded, and I said yes, then handed her my debit card so the extra drink could be credited. Several minutes later, she returned and told me that her manager said we could simply keep the additional drink. She handed me one of Chick-fil-A's complimentary sandwich cards for the inconvenience but failed to return my debit card. When I asked for my card back, she returned to the drive-thru service window to retrieve it, and I continued sitting in line for several more minutes with vehicles piling up behind me and no ability for cars behind us to exit the drive-thru lane. Most concerning, I then witnessed a gentleman in a completely separate drive lane to our right (exterior to the actual drive-thru) step out of his vehicle, waving my very distinctive debit card (easily recognizable because it has a black-and-white sky image on the front), calling out that it was not his card. To this day, I genuinely do not understand how my debit card ended up in the hands of another customer who was not even in the drive-thru lane where we were waiting. Thankfully, he was honest enough to return it immediately. Order mistakes happen. A wrong sandwich or extra drink is frustrating but understandable. Handing a customer's debit card to a complete stranger is an entirely different matter. In a time when identity theft, card cloning, and financial fraud continue to rise, maintaining control of a customer's financial information should be paramount. What was most surprising is that Chick-fil-A has spent nearly 80 years building a reputation centered around professionalism and customer service. That longstanding reputation is precisely why this experience and the lack of a meaningful response afterward (see attached) were so disappointing. Unfortunately, this location continues to miss the mark. It may be time to revisit training standards not only with frontline staff but also at the corporate level. read more

I proceed to the window which I'm also shocked this freestander doesn't have a drive thru door? I called them and told the manager... I don't know how to feel about this except I threw up the food I ate and now have this aftermath taste of alcohol from vomiting and feeling dehydrated. Food was as good as ever, employees were extremely courteous and helpful, but the wait time for your order is very long whether you go inside or through the drive-thru. This experience was overall so horrible. After ordering online and pulling up when they said it was ready i then waited 7 more minutes until they actually handed me my food. All the staff working were just standing around the window and laughing. When they handed me my bag, it ripped because the girl handing it to me pulled it back. Fries went everywhere and she didn't even apologize. Also the drinks were so poorly labeled and I had to test all of them to figure out which was which. This caused panic in my car after I took a sip of everyone's drink. Overall a horrible experience. I love Chick-fil-A but not this location. If you can go elsewhere until new management is in place. Do so. Within the last month they have tried to give me food I watch the person in front of me in the drive-thru line pass back to them. A later visit I got a sandwich which I'm sure was cooked an hour before. Saturated in oil, hard, dense bun. The new mobile pick-up system is pointless, and employees are smug about it (who didn't have order correct). Get the people out of the drive thru with iPads they only slow and confuse things. I understand hiring high schoolers but they need oversight and better management. If I wanted this kind of service I would drive down the road McDonald's. read more

I once read "this is the armpit of chick fil a stores".. and now I get it. I've come here almost every morning for years and this location has completely let itself go. You can tell that they literally prepare an abundance of food and just let it sit under the heat light for hours. The biscuits are flat crumbling pancake like excuses, and the morning chicken is so old and nasty that I've thrown out the past five times I've gotten it. Save yourself the money and go to another location, or hell I'm sure McDonalds would be fresher than this and I will never eat that crap. Please don't bother with the automated "reach out to our customer care team" I genuinely don't care for free food, I wouldn't eat it even if handed it to me on a silver plate at this rate. Chick-fil-a has yet to disappoint me. Always clean, fresh and friendly. And at a fair price. My fav is their chicken, egg, and cheese biscuit that I typically get for breakfast with some OJ. I don't like the double drive-thru. Their service slowed after installing it - I timed it on multiple occasions. But none-the-less, among fast food restaurants - CFA is head and shoulders above them all. And I doubt that will change anytime soon. read more

Chick-fil-A as a whole is fantastic, however this particular Chick-fil-A is the absolute best. I live by the Northpoint location but drive to the States Bridge location because they're so quick and efficient plus whenever I receive my food it's always fresh and hot. On an average, I'll visit this one about three times a week and I always get an egg and cheese biscuit and a large sweet tea with extra ice. When I go to Northpoint if I order extra ice there maybe three pieces of ice in it and it's hot because it's sweet tea freshly brewed, hence why I ask for extra ice. I've been coming to this Chick-fil-A since it opened. For years, I could count on them to always be pleasant, my order was always correct, and when the drive through was wait time was excessive, which it rarely was, someone would always apologize for the wait. Over the past few months, my order has been WRONG the majority of time. This morning was the last straw. I ordered 2 yogurt parfaits, a fruit cup and an unsweet tea. After almost 10 min wait in line, I was given two bags with all hot food. Luckily, I had only pulled up a bit so I could still hand the bags back to her. Then she argued with me about what I ordered until she figured out the SHE was wrong. So, I wait another 2-3 mins while they milked the cow and made the yogurt. She handed me the bag without saying a word. This was my favorite CFA location for years. I'm not sure what happened. Did the owners change? The staff mostly looks confused about who's on first. I saw one person literally turn in circles while I waited for them to bring my correct order. What happened to this place??? Please fix it....I used to love this location. read more

I've been back several times since my original review and it looks as if some new blood has been brought in. The employees we've encountered have been quite helpful and downright friendly. Its still too cold in there and it is still a royal pain in the arse to stand in line AGAIN to get a soda refill. The restaurant itself, since the remodel, is so much cleaner. The condiment areas are located in weird places but no biggie. It seems as if they are doing a much better job of separating all the children from the people that don't want to be knocked over by them. Yay! read more

This location is the one I frequent the most and the staff is just awesome. They're always super friendly and kind, always willing to help get refills or carry food to the table for me, and I appreciate the customer service that this location provides. I love that each month there's a great family activity and then each month there's a toddler activity during the morning that I can attend with my son. Their drive-thru is always busy, but they're so efficient that it goes fast. This is one of the best in the area! read more

They've recently reopened after a remodel and the addition of a second drive-thru lane. Since the grand reopening, I haven't noticed the previous problem of moldy blueberries in the fruit cups, so that's a bonus. The service is also super speedy, not that it was ever slow here, with the second drive-thru lane. We ate inside recently and were a little surprised by the fact that they deliver orders to the table. This was nice but a kind of odd at the same time. I found it a little difficult to locate the condiments, extra napkins, and silverware because they aren't centrally located in the restaurant but instead behind a wall near one of the entrances. I'm happy that they're back in service, despite my sometimes less than stellar experiences before the closure. Still a CFA addict at heart. Oh and I found the picture of our sandwich from 2013 that was missing the top bun (as mentioned in my prior review). I'm including it now because it was hilarious. read more

I'm disappointed. This is the first bad experience I've had at a Chick-fil-A. The woman at the intercom could not understand my order. I repeated it, patiently, five times in a loud, clear voice. I end up at the window with the incorrect order about to be handed to me. I politely let the window lady know I had ordered something different and there must have been a miscommunication. She's agitated with me. She makes a passive-aggressive comment about "well, now your THIRD new total is..." I don't remember there having been a correction beyond the second. The shift supervisor comes over, gets my order, makes the order, hands it back down, also agitated. No one even uttered the iconic "my pleasure" line. This was the equivalent of an experience at a crappy McDonalds. As someone who's also worked in customer service, I always try to be polite and patient when there's a mix up. There's no reason why I should be receiving aggression from the person who's serving me. I don't think the founder of Chick-fil-A would be satisfied with the customer service at this location. A Chick-fil-A that has lost it's way from the corporate culture. We have given this Chick-fil-A multiple chances and we continue to be astonished of how far off track this location is. It is a shame since we live less than a mile away from this location but choose to drive 6.5 miles(Avalon) to get the quality we expect from the Chick-fil-A brand. Typical issues we have dealt with since 2018. - Food that we order is missing. - If not missing food is over cooked or undercooked. - Soda is flat - High school kids with attitude. - Management team with a lack of leadership.
