Update: I returned to Chick-fil-A Howell Mill yesterday, Thursday, June 25, 2026. On our way, I told my wife that I had never been to this location before. I was wrong. When I went to upload pictures on Yelp, I saw my review from January 6, 2011 (coincidentally, also a Thursday). So, it's been over 15 years since I last visited. Since that time, this location has been demolished and rebuilt. All/most of that happened in 2021. There's a brick and commemorative item on the wall by the north entrance/exit that says this location originally opened in 1997. We had two Spicy Deluxe Sandwich Meals for $21.45 after tax and also got a free Icedream Cone thanks to Chick-fil-A One rewards (use the app). The meal met our standards for Chick-fil-A, which is good. The "new" building looks completely different from the old one. It's updated and modern, and still looks relatively new. The dining room and outdoor patio are both small. We dined in. There was adequate parking in the back, though I can see how it can be an issue during peak times. Around 6:00 PM, the drive-thru was slammed. I'm pretty sure the redesigned property reduced on-site dining and improved/increased the capacity for this location to handle more drive-thru traffic. I did not feel safe making a left turn out of here. Looking left, the view of oncoming traffic was obscured by poles and bushes. Looking right, you've got two lanes of cars flying down Howell Mill. My friends and I stopped here while on a road trip to Nashville. The parking lot and drive thru are really small so it's hard to navigate but this was the fastest Chick Fil A I've ever been to. We had two separate orders and we pulled right up to order. It was exactly 2 minutes from the time my card was scanned to the time we got our food. There were multiple cars in front of us and we had a pretty complicated order. Stopping here only added 4 extra minutes to our drive. Friendly employees, skip the drive through line for faster pickup. This location is off Howell Mill, near 75-N and always busy. There is usually a long drive through line and even spilling out the parking lot onto Howell Mill. The employees are often out there directing traffic and keeping things moving. We always mobile order and run in to pick it up. Employees are wearing masks, the inside is not available for seating, to-go only. Food is up with typical chick fil a standards, hot and tastes fresh. Tried the new grilled spicy deluxe sandwich. Tasty, has a little kick but not very spicy. Y'all, This Chick-fil-a is wild. There are no more than 16 parking spaces and four of those are occupied by unaccompanied Chick-fil-a delivery vehicles. Two spaces are handicap designated, leaving patrons with roughly 8-10 parking spaces. If you are lucky enough to source a parking spot, you'll arrive to a cheerful greeting from Ms. Linda. Ms. Linda will gleefully share with you that she was "gifted the dining room" She is the shining star of this location. She is also the hardest working. After placing a mobile order or dine-in order, you will hear the front counter shouting your name when the table number is clearly marked on the receipt. "We were calling your name!" they share. Correct, I was at a table waiting. Ms. Linda is in charge of refills, but in the event you go to the front counter to get a dessert or a refill after your meal.....The front counter is manned about 50% of the time and the other 50% you are just left standing at the front counter waiting for someone, anyone..... You'll see a member of management sitting on a stool in the back. I asked for a refill and the manager delegated it to a hard worker named Will. Mind you Will is doing everything, I saw him on my way in running in the parking lot. Physically running to please customer. Another interesting addition is the manager meetings. Three to four members of management will sit at a table in the dining room while the front counter service is sinking. It's a strange hierarchy here that gives me a 1960's vibe, perhaps that is because this location is on the cusp of the Buckhead line. If you aren't in the drive thru, you are a second class customer at this location. You would probably receive faster service going through the drive through and coming inside to sit down afterwards. With no manager in sight, all their efforts are focused on the drive through. Do not leave without checking your bag. I can't eat these grilled nuggets without a fork , but it always seems to be missing. Order a soup, they will forget the crackers. Stay alert. read more

This locations was in the middle of everything but note the parking lot is very tight! The do everything manual from order taking to handing you your food with someone standing outside the drive thru window - I won't knock them for that setup too much. They were very friendly and very fast. The order takers knew the menu super well which helped ya make quicker decisions. When you walked to Chick-fil-A on Howell Mill Road please be prepared to wait at least 25 minutes even if you make your order on the mobile app. When you walk in it's very clear that the condiments area needed to be restocked and the back of the counter had all the cups and the syrup they're as though no one cleaned up behind themselves and the condition of the store was not pleasing to the eye for the customer. When waiting for my order to come out I received my order three separate times not together first my Parfait then my coffee. I had to remind the individual that I was still waiting for a sandwich. when I received my sandwich it was cold and I asked could you please remake. I visited this place for the first time on September 17th, and my order was incorrect. I reached out to John, who advised me to return to retrieve a replacement order within 48 hours. Upon returning, I did not receive my corrected order that john said I would get. Throughout the process, I was overly questioned, which was fine, but it appeared they were slightly pushing me away, which was endearing. Marissa, the director, emerged shortly after, and was prompt in stating that she wouldn't replace the entire order, despite what John had mentioned, which I had relayed to her. She dismissed it, claiming she couldn't do so. As someone working in the food industry, I prioritize my customers' satisfaction. If they're unhappy or have issues, I address them swiftly. Marissa, the director, seemed eager to conclude the conversation abruptly and in a dismissive way. John was very polite and handle the situation on the phone professionally, I wish he was at the store when I came and maybe the outcome would be different. They can never grasp " fresh fries" this is the only Chick-fil-A that doesn't give french fries so I have to tell them and they never do it. This Chick-fil-A truly distinguishes itself from other Chick-fil-A and other fast food restaurants in general. Due to its close location from my office. I have been fortunate enough to dine at this location many times over the past year. Each and every time, I leave satisfied and cheerful. Let me first start with the food. Every meal is cooked well with consistency. I come with a certain expression for franchise restaurants, and they meet it every time. The wait time, whether dining in or drive-thru has never been more than 7 min (dining in) and 10 min (drive-thru). What makes this more impressive is the fact that this location is almost consistency busy. Full of cars, and full of people dining in. Regardless of the traffic, they are able to deliver consistent meals in a timely manner. Then there is the staff. Each and every employee is genuinely friendly and caring. I even spoke to Bryan, one of the managers, who came to this location to be trained under this specific owner. In a rare case they make a mistake, they make up for it every time. In one instance in which they messed up my side, they apologized and gave me a card for a free sandwich. In summary, this Chick-fil-A is good as it gets. As long as I work around here, I will continue to dine here if I get the chance. read more

I love chick-fil-A and I happen to live close by this one. I am on a somewhat diet, but that doesn't count. At least twice a month I feel the need to have a parfait for breakfast and a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with hash browns. I always get their orange juice just because it is the best. If I don't catch breakfast I grab lunch and get the #1 classic chicken sandwich and add cheese. This with the fruit punch and lemonade mixed for a drink is the best. Food: classic chicken sandwich or the nugget meal. Are usually likely to accompany this with a large fry and Hi-C fruit punch and lemonade mix. Location: This location is sooo convenient because I live close by and I walk over most of the time. I love the management here and hope they keep them. I parked, went inside, placed my order with a friendly employee. Checked out the bathroom which was pretty clean. My order was ready very quickly. Food was hot fresh. My only complaint was on my second visit here I went through the drive-thru and did not receive a straw for my drink even after I asked if there was a straw in the bag.
