Having moved from Tampa, it is sooo exciting to find so many vegetarian restaurants here! After visiting Natuzzi furniture store, it was recommended to come here for a healthy lunch. I can't believe that this is owned by Cheesecake Factory! It did not disappoint, the friendly cashier at the counter was very helpful. I followed her recommendation for the Forbidden Rice bowl that feature black rice and sautéed crisp veggies. I opted for the blackened tofu protein that was sliced seasoned tofu which complimented the bowl. Oh, I asked for the chili hot sauce to be on the side so I could control the heat. Very good, it was enough for 2 meals for me. Bathrooms were clean and the staff were wiping down the tables with spray which is a good sign. Typically, I avoid chain restaurants. I didn't ever get halfway through before I had to pack up the rest for later. I know this spot can seem too healthy for some people but they truly have something for everyone. This place is still a 10/10. I've been to both locations and have no complaint. Their summer sangria was amazing. I am obsessed with the Mother Earth bowl with salmon and extra miso vinaigrette. I've tried it with steak as well but prefer the salmon. Their restaurants are always clean and well decorated. The lady at the cash register was super friendly and recommended I get my salmon blackened. Can I get a chefs kiss! I've had the Mother Earth bowl many times over the years, here and at other locations. This time I added salmon, which was tasty but seemed smaller than before. Like much in our society, portion sizes are getting smaller as prices go up. That said, the Mother Earth bowl is still a great choice. The ancient grains, sweet potato, and portobello mushroom give it depth, while the avocado, cucumber, and leafy greens keep it fresh. The broccoli pesto, charred onion, and red pepper miso vinaigrette bring everything together beautifully. Still one of my favorite healthy meals when I don't feel like cooking. read more

I met a friend here for a working lunch and had a lovely time. I had never heard of this spot before but I must say for a Friday afternoon it was full of people lunching and working and hanging out. It's located in the Westside Provisions District so parking is available in the parking deck but be sure to ask for validation (good for 2 hours) or you'll pay at least a million dollars. If you're picking up an order they do have designated spots for 10 min parking right outside the restaurant. It's a super cute, casual space and you'll place your order before grabbing a seat. They have all sorts of options for any diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free) with salads, bowls with fancy stuff in it, and entrees where you can pick a protein and two sides so you're bound to find something that you'll want I'm sure. I didn't get too adventurous during this visit and opted for the avocado Caesar salad with romaine, parmesan, bread crumb, chive, a delicious avocado caesar dressing and I added chicken. This salad was so filling and soooooo delicious! The portion size was perfect for the price and I was definitely pleased with what I got. Super cute spot and actually a pretty decent place to sit and work if you needed to. It did get a little loud from time to time but of course it was lunchtime so that's expected but it wasn't super noisy or unbearable. Soooo while in midtown, during my bi-weekly visit to Atlanta, I decided to seek out a restaurant that had healthy items where I was not just limited to a salad. Thanks to Yelp, I discovered Flower Child located in the Westside Provisions district. It took me a minute to find the restaurant since my GPS directed me to the other side of the cluster of shops. I found a 10-minute parking spot, which gave me just enough time to find the restaurant on the directory, walk across the bridge, and pick up the food that I ordered online. Flower Child has the cutest ambiance,and the name fits the restaurant perfectly. I love that everything on the menu is high vibrational. Regardless of your dietary needs, you can find something to eat here. I took a while to decide what to order since there were so many options, and I wanted to try everything. My order was ready on the shelf upon arrival. The staff was friendly from my short encounter. During my visit, I ordered a shrimp plate with roasted broccoli and Yuzu Brussel Sprouts. Everything was flavorful, tasted fresh, and was cooked perfectly, and most importantly, after a delicious meal, I didn't feel guilty. For dessert, I had the vegan chocolate pudding, which was topped with nuts and coconut flakes... yum!!! This is my new go-to spot for lunch while in town. I also lucked out once and their soup of the day was vegan (sweet potato and chickpea, I believe). Both dishes offered nice flavor and everything tasted fresh. I always add tofu to the salad. It lives up to the crunch in its name. The dressing pairs very well with the veggies included. The tofu lacks because they do nothing with it lol. It'd be nice if it was seasoned or marinated in some way, but at least I have a vegan protein option. Dishes aren't inexpensive, but most of this is justified (IMO) because of the aforementioned ingredient quality. But I love their menu. They really have something for everyone and have great lunch and dinner options (but i do prefer coming for lunch). This Flower Child is located in West Midtown @ Westside Provisions. If you're driving, it's straight back in the right hand corner once you pull in to the plaza. Parking is in the deck. You have to use your credit/debit card when you pull in, the deck doesn't give a ticket. So, remember which card you used. Once in Flower Child don't forget to ask for a parking validation sticker so your parking will be comped. Now on to the meat and potatoes of this review, which will include neither meat or potato...lol As a big fan of Flower Child, I always get the same thing when I come... My boyfriend got a wrap (I don't remember which one) and he said it was just okay and needed more sauce. He got a lemonade that had a bit more sweetness than the tea. After putting in an order and finding a table, I noticed that the line was at the door all the time.
