I understand why this Chik-fil-a doesn't get good reviews compared to nearby locations. The wait is longer, the dining room is more unkept, and the employees seems understaffed and overwhelmed. It took me a LONG time to receive food I mobile ordered. That in itself is not too bad but I will post pictures to show you that all of the trash cans were full and the place looked kind of dirty. I'm not sure what's going on with this particular location, but it's unlike any other Chick-Fil-A I've ever been to. The night staff is primarily loud, obnoxious teenagers who care more about socializing with one another than providing quality customer service. We ordered two chicken sandwiches, both of which were cold. When we asked for new food, the sandwiches were even colder (cheese wasn't melted). Finally, we asked for a refund and someone yelled from the kitchen, "120 degrees isn't hot enough? Are they Mexican?" The whole experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I've never in my life experienced a Chick-Fil-A like this. We've come to expect delicious, quality food and top notch customer service. If you go to chic fil a and you see Genessi I'd turn around and leave. Never have experience such disrespect and unprofessionalism from an employee at chick fil a. I ordered one of their new salads the other day and when served, it was mostly toppings and barely any lettuce. I asked the girl behind the counter for more greens and she was happy to get me more lettuce so my salad was just that....a salad. I returned today to order the same thing and asked for extra lettuce, knowing it probably wouldn't come out with enough lettuce. The counter staff couldn't seem to figure out how to manage this simple request, so it took a manager to add the comments but she then informed me it would be an additional charge....FOR LETTUCE. LOL Apparently a handful of lettuce is very expensive and should be charged to the customer.....or....they could just include enough lettuce in their $10 salads to begin with. This Chick Fil A is kind of like going on a blind prom date. You have high expectations, because it's Chick Fil A, but ultimately it ends with awkward disappointment and you going home dissatisfied. The customer service is awful. Anna, the team captain, seemed like she was in some punishment being there. She was audibly sighing and rolling her eyes taking orders. Taking orders, by the way, is apparently a skill they don't teach at Chick Fil A school. My order was wrong, and asking them to fix it, was wrong a second time. Zero apologies. I asked for extra crispy hash browns, and they said they would "try." The restaurant itself, despite being new, was about as well kept as a flea market. Husband and I went to the auburn location yesterday (Jan.21) for an early dinner with a friend. Ordered our food and when we got it back to our table my husband immediately noticed a black hair on the top of his fries. He isn't one to waste food and assumed it was a dog hair from our Rottweiler that had fell off his coat. I got my chicken sandwich opened and went to take a bite and notice a LONG thick black hair poking out of mine. I was immediately grossed out brought it to their attention and was offered a refund or have them remake it. This was the second hair we had found so I said I'd like a refund. No problem. My friend and her husband also chose to cancel their order. My husband, again not being one to waste food, kept munching on his fries .... he FOUND ANOTHER HAIR! This one was long and a light brunette. Said something again to the cashier and he snapped back "this is why we all wear these hats as part of the uniform". To which my friend and I both promptly replied "there's not a single person back there wearing a hat". As a matter of fact there was one girl with her hair loosely in a clip with the length almost down to her shoulder blades. Finding one hair in the food..... okay, that sucks but stuff happens. But three different hairs in two different meals on the same order. Give me a break, that's just blatant health code violation. I go through chick fil a's drive through multiple times per week and am generally underwhelmed by everyone who works it from the order window to payment, not to mention the food. The food is bland and unremarkable, but I'll keep coming back for the professional and personality filled service that daniella in the drive through provides, the staff here is generally robotic and not great but she always brings a bright spot to my day.
