I went for lunch on opening day today, 4/9/2015. It was a madhouse but I was impressed with how they handled the crowds. I got the regular Chick-fil-a sandwich meal, some chicken tenders, and a diet lemonade. Everything came out perfect! If you have never been to Chick-fil-a you can sort of think of it like an upscale fast food place. Always good and fresh. Always friendly. Reasonable prices. Don't get caught by thinking you can stop in on Sunday though- its closed. Before Washington, I lived in places that have Chick-fil-a (Atlanta, Dallas, and Alabama), and I have been missing it out here. We always make a beeline to Chick-fil-a when travelling to get our fix. A few things to take note: 1. Depending on what time and day you go to Chick Fil A, the drive thru line can get crazy long and cause traffic. If you're waiting for the drive thru but see that it is already full, please just keep driving. If you just wait there and line up until the corner of that street, you're going to create traffic. 2. There's another parking area. It's in one of the business buildings that is right next to the hotel. It takes only a few minutes to walk from that parking lot and to Chick Fil A. :) Other than that: Food is good. Don't want the waffle fries? No worries, just tell them that you want to replace your sides (they also have coleslaw). As for me, I love their fries, since it's delicious with their chick-fil-a sauce! Also, always ask for extra chick fil a sauce! Whether it's for dipping your sandwich into or to dip your fries. ;) The service has been good so far. All the employees are super friendly despite how busy this location is. If the drive thru line is long, I recommend doing mobile ordering or parking and going inside. They are super efficient and food is ready within 5 mins of ordering inside. If the lot is packed there are some designated parking spots in The Woods coffee lot next door. Food is always hot and fresh and I can't get enough of their waffle fries and honey mustard. I usually get the deluxe sandwich, but will get the spicy sandwich when I'm looking for something with a bite. read more

Lived in Atlanta for five years and had numerous chick-fil-A, I am happily giving five stars to this location for its food. I want to say the spicy chicken sandwich might be in the top three among the hundreds I had in Atlanta over the years, but this statement could be due to inaccurate memory with the time gap and the ever lasting craving since I moved to Seattle. Speaking of which, this is the definitely the BEST FRIED CHICKEN I have had IN METRO SEATTLE. It is kinda sad for sure, and just to be clear, I am talking about every place I tried from your highly (over)rated original Ezell's chicken to fine dinning places charging $20 dollar a plate with a few chicken strips in a salad or $30 for fake chicken waffles. The best of those are okay. Some are merely edible. The line seems long for a weekend evening and seems to not move very fast, but hey you can always go to the KFC with no line at all! If this place were in Atlanta, I would be giving a four star due to the efficiency. But it deserves ten stars for fried chicken for Metro Seattle and seems underrated on Yelp, so five is fair. I loved coming to this location however, my past few drive through visits have been less than memorable. I ordered a medium Mac and cheese and it was maybe 1/3 full. At that point I would rather order a small. My chicken tenders also seem to be very minimal. There are few times when you experience a life changing event by eating at a restaurant. Chick Fil A is more than just a franchise fast food restaurant. It is a lifestyle. When a new place opens up that causes changes to traffic patterns in Bellevue for over a month after opening, you know it's special. Chick Fil A literally clogged up off ramps from the highway and caused delays of over 30 minutes to cross an intersection back when it first opened until presumably the city of Bellevue requested that lines were no longer allowed to pour out of the parking lot. The hype hasn't ended almost 2 months after it has ended, and the food is consistently delicious. To be fair, I can only really comment on one item on the menu since that is all I have ever ordered. My usual is one spicy chicken sandwich, one spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, a cup of water, and the most-amazing-of-them-all Chick Fil A Sauce. Yes you read that right - purity and perfection at Chick Fil A is two spicy chicken sandwiches. The tender juiciness and the perfect amount of spiciness can't be beat. Having never lived in the south, I hadn't had a Chik-FIL-A till husband dragged me there 2 years back in the middle of wedding preps. The sandwich (#1) was one of the best fast food sandwiches I had ever had, waffle fries crisp and oh so yum! And the lemonade was sweet and tart. What impressed me the most was the service - friendly, attentive and courteous. We have been there off and on over the last two years. The last time we went there (a week back) I felt like something was lacking - the fresh flowers were replaced by fake ones (not a big deal), the sandwich was okay, fries soft and...not exactly limp but not crisp (big deal), Maybe we caught them on an off day. Let me start by saying that I grew up on Chick-fil-A, and it holds a special place in my heart. Nothing beats a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A, except may be a spicy chicken sandwich. So you might wonder, why the 3 stars? 1) the insanity of the lines... the first 3 tries I attempted to go there resulted in total failure - wasn't even allowed to turn into the parking lot, not to mention the half mile backup that it created. I don't think so. 2) questionable ethics of eating there - it's still super unclear to me whether they are anti-gay, anti-diversity, anti-choice, anti-everything-I-care-about. On the plus side, the workers are courteous, and 100% better mannered than any other fast food restaurant. So there's that. I missed it over the last 6 years of living here, but after a few visits, I decided it was just not worth all the hassle and guilt. Not to mention the fried greasy goodness... um, I mean badness. I always wanted to try Chick-fil-A. So was in Bellevue and I know this place been open for quite some time. So finally got a chance to make a trip to try it. I came in and so chaos in the parking lot. Like so many cars!. Well i was mislead. Well one line was drive thru and it looked like it was really backed up. We were able to find a parking spot easily. Most people like to eat in their cars, even though there are seats inside and outside. So went in and of course I asked what most people like to order. I was told popular was combo 1 and combo 2 (combo 2 is the spicy version of combo 1). I got combo number one which is the chicken burger with pickles. I mean I was like you mean nothing in it! The guy said you add your own sauce. Interesting! So i paid an extra to add in cheese, lettuce and tomato. Its one small price of $0.60 to add all three things and not charge by each item. I was amazed at the price. The combo came with drink and fries but I subsitite the drink to a peach milkshake. Chicken burger - was delicious it was very juicy. I added Chik-fil-A mayo, ketchup and the Chik-fil-A sauce to the burger. So much sauce. But very delicious. It was also very fresh. You can tell it was fried at the right temperature and its not overly fried. So the chicken had a light brown battered color. Peach milkshake was for a limited time only. It wasn't bad but I did find it a bit sweet. There were peach chunks inside. Ok so its real peach, kind of. Not completely all syrup. The fries were amazing. If you dip it with Chik-fil-A sauce, it will be an eye opener. The fries are in an interesting shape as well. Decor of this place is very clean. Service is top notch. People very friendly. They do come check on you and ask you how are the food. I thought this was a fast food! This is definitely beyond fast food service. They have a station for sauce so you can add what you want. The food is still pretty consistent here given the crowds. My new favorites are the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with pepper jack cheese. The frosted lemonade (icedream mixed with lemonade) and peach milkshake is good too. People their waffle fries DON'T have much salt on them (I love that) so get a dipping sauce or sprinkle some salt. After almost 3 months, the line is still around the block and now the cop doesn't let anyone block the street. Still people keep coming and waiting in lines. I had predicted this would be the case and it has been. People will always line up for good food. I have been here 6 times since they opened and my wait has been luck of the draw even on mid week days - anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Too much, but once you're in line its difficult to leave. I wish people wouldn't give the restaurant 1 or 2 stars due to the lines! And those expecting something other than fast food, lower your expectations. I waited about ten minutes for this so I was decently pleased, but I'm not really seeing why people would wait over two hours for this. The spicy chicken is well spiced, and I can definitely handle my heat. It's not dry at all, and it has a decent pickle flavor that adds a little extra something. This is the WORST Chick Fil A in WA. I refrained from writing a review after the last TWO HORRID experiences we've had but this is it. I will give this location the benefit of the doubt and say it's ONLY the morning staff we've had problems with. For starters, we ordered from the app, you can choose drive thru so all you have to do is drive thru the drive and pick up your food. Very simple, you'd think.. After we ordered and drove to pick up our food we get there and one employee says our order is "non existent" and was maybe sent to another chick fil a, another other worker says they ran out of food, and another employee then says they don't make the food until we arrive. Of course we had the order number and the receipt showing our order went through and was paid, we were offered the one breakfast sandwich they had left since they ran out of food. They didn't offer us a refund. We got the run around from 3 different employees, all were different reasons. I've never had such a bad experience at a chick fil a before. Again, in the morning we typically try to stop twice a month before work. This morning specifically we always order the sandwich or chicken minis, with a large Arnold Palmer no ice and they are very good about repeating our order. This is the 4th time they put ice, which is not the biggest deal they usually let us keep the one we've already touched and give us another one but today when they put ice, she rolled her eyes when we handed it back, dumped out the drink and refilled it and didn't press the lid all the way down, also over flowed the drink so it was over flowing as she gave it back to us. We asked for napkins and she said they were in the bag, which there was not. We asked for sauce and she very blatantly sighed and rolled her eyes again! A car in front of us had food they were waiting for and typically fast food restaurant's will have they car wait in a designated parking spot in the front of the building but this Chick Fil A specifically has cones right in front of the drive thru, when I say right in front.. I mean we literally had to honk and wait for the car to leave before we could leave. There were probably 4 cars behind us as well. After we honked, this girl with blue eyes and brown hair came out from the drive thru and yelled at us and said "stop! They are waiting for their food!" I asked why they are blocking the ENTIRE drive thru and she ignored us. I've heard cfa has been giving our sani wipes during the pandemic, this Bellevue location does not, nor do they have the decency to give napkins. The morning crew at this location are some of the meanest, unprofessional, non personable staff I have ever came across at any chick fil a location, let alone any fast food chain. As a nurse working front line, I understand that it gets hard and I always try my best to thank everyone who's out there working front line but this staff was terrible. I came here with a friend for an evening milkshake and frozen lemonade at around 9:30pm. The employee was so friendly! As he was locking up close to 10pm the outdoor seating areas and putting away the potted plants on the table. So we asked if we need to vacate the space, he said we can continue to finish our drinks. When he noticed that our drinks were empty, he checked with the kitchen to see if they have not yet clean the pot and gave us free refills. As we were happily drinking our refills, he told us a joke about the whale and the shrimp. He totally made our evening with just these simple acts. I rarely ever eat drive through fast food unless I'm driving on a long road trip and it's the only options around. Chick-fil-A gets an exception to the rule though! All I have to say is if you're not getting the #2 Spicy Chicken Deluxe meal with the Chick-fil-A sauce, you're doing it wrong. If you're feeling fancy you can sub your drink for a shake in the meal. The staff are beyond what I expect for fast food: they're friendly, easy going, nice to talk to, and leave you feeling pretty happy after speaking to them. The food is terrific. The chicken is much better than any other fast food chicken I've had, and the signature sauce adds a unique and unforgettable taste in my opinion (a mix of honey-dill and mustard I think). We drove past this store and saw the drive through line up out into the street and we had to know what was going on! When we got in and tried it we were impressed. A nice alternative to the usual quick serve suspects! The chicken club was tasty, the wrap was fresh and gotta love the waffle fries! And the kids meals fruit cup, assembled in house with real fruit (Including blueberries). Talking with the manager Ken (who you have to say hi to and is extremely friendly and bring the guy an Aero bar if you stop in from Canada), I did not know there were over 1800 stores in the US! Lunch here today was phenomenal. Fast, friendly, attentive, and out of this world customer service says it all for this Chick-fil-A location. I have never ever experienced such amazing customer service at a fast food environment and that was starting from right when we pulled in to the lot of this place. We were greeted by a woman who was conducting the traffic of either dining in or drive thru, when we told her dine in - she immediately told us where a vacant parking spot was. The drive thru is crazy long, so we decided to dine in, I mean why not. It was easy to find a parking spot surprisingly with how many people coming in and out of the place but I understood why when I walked in the joint. There was about 12 people in front of us in the line, but boy did it go quick. The restaurant was packed in and outside dining. I was thinking we would have to wait awhile to find seating. About five minutes later it was already our turn to order. Greeted so nicely by a young African American gentleman who was a pleasure to speak with over such quick conversation. I wish I knew his name but the receipt said Blanca.. Anyways, I ordered the Spicy Deluxe meal and my Husband got the Original Deluxe meal. We ended up subing our sodas for their Frosted Lemonade. We both got Honey Mustard and the Garlic & Herb Ranch dipping sauces. Right when we were done ordering the gentleman handed us two straws, and said "Here are you're magical drinking devices!" It was awesome. Right when we walked to the dining area we saw a couple getting up just in time for us to snag the booth. An elderly woman was over right away to wipe down our table and to give us napkins. Everything is so darn fast and efficient I was just so pleased so far! As we sat down, the Manager I'm assuming who expedites the dining area greeted us. Then five minutes later out order was ready! He asked if we needed anything else, but we were ready to dig in! The spicy chicken sandwich was so good, I really love the kick of spice it has. Not just in heat but flavor profile. I love that the sandwich is so basic and no additives of mayo or ketchup. The waffle fries are AMAZING. So crisp, so delicious. Not overly salted. The frosted lemonade was delicious! It reminded me of an orange creamsicle but lemon flavor. I enjoyed it a lot! As my Husband got up, we needed water and the Manager comes up and right away asks 'what he can get for him' and told him "water", right away we were brought waters. My husband made me go with him, I was starving so I gave it a try. The only thing available that wasn't horrible for your health was the southwestern salad (with grilled chicken, no dressing, no tortilla strips) - but the chicken isn't just pure chicken with seasoning, I checked the nutrition flyer and there's additives in the chicken. What surprised me the most about this place is the customer service. The customer service is amazing for a fast food place-- they are attentive, polite, and so nice! If you dine-in, they check up on you to make sure everything is okay and rush to clean up your tray before you can even get up. This definitely excelled my expectations, especially from a fast food joint. The food itself: I really liked the waffle fries. The seasoning is perfect, not too salty but enough for taste and just right for dipping in sauces. I tried the spicy deluxe and the rest of my party just took the regular number one, a regular chicken burger. This is a fast food chain, so I don't expect anything exceptional from it. Therefore, their chicken burgers on my fast food rating chart is enjoyable. Definitely way better than that $2 McChicken from McDonalds. Their fresh-squeezed lemonade was also really good, but definitely on the more sweeter side. Overall, I honestly think the excellent customer service made the food much more enjoyable for what it is. This is the place you want to stop at when you are having that late night fast food craving or that too-tired-to-cook-because-life-is-just-brutal-at-times mood. I also noticed that it was enormously busy the first few months it opened up. When I went in today around the afternoon, it wasn't all too busy and there were plenty of parking spots.
