Ah, really hits the spot. I'm pooled by bojangles out east so it's hard to like any friend chicken anywhere. Maybe the extra star comes from having do friend chicken well. Overall well friend crispy and doesn't go soggy on you. The service is quick and no fuss. Always love fresh fried chicken with good flavor.

overcooked, you can see the dried out meat has already begun jerky-fication

Literally sexist. I came in and waited to ask about my order. This karen comes up and stands right next to me, then starts inching her way in front of me like I'm not there. The front guy comes up and I take a step forward and ask about my order. He says it'll be 5 minutes. Karen gives me a look but that's it from her. 2 minutes later, the front guy comes out from behind the counter and SCOLDS ME about not being nice to other customers like I'm the one who cut her off? I stood there wondering if I actually was wrong here, but then 3 sets of people come in after that, each asking if I'm in line before walking ahead of me like decent people do. I tell the front guy about all the nice customers that just came in and how it's not right to let people cut others off, and he hits me with the "she's a girl, you can't bully a girl, I'm done with you, take your food and go". So at this location, if you're a girl, feel free to cut people off. If you're a guy, too bad. also the chicken was overcooked X_X

I m giving 2 stars for the nice restaurant setup and welcoming staff. Got the 2 pieces and roll and long story short , the bread was the best thing out of it. 1- i got the spicy and cant feel any spiceness level here 2- portion is small and texture isnt appealing at all 3- drumstick was ok but flavoreless while the thigh was super oily and not taste as well 4- for 10 bucks ( got get you 3 pieces at kfc or somewhere else) I am getting no big portion, super oily and not tasty so i dont see any price quality tradeoff. Will get the 8$ 6 pieces from FredMeyer and honestly it has way better taste. Wont go back again, still in the hunt of the best fried chicken place here

The last time I went to Ezell, they only had two locations, coming back recently there were so many locations all over Seattle and I was little concerned as quality tends to go down as places scale and this brand unfortunately fell victim to it. I got 8 pc chicken and the white meat were kind of dry and rubbery tasting and it felt under seasoned. The dark meat was okay but it wasn't as juicy as I remembered it. It was too bad because I recommended to my local friend who never ate at Ezell and I kind of hyped it up and he was also pretty disappointed and he said his chicken was too salty and not crispy. What a shame though, sometimes staying small is the way to go. This is no longer a spot for fried chicken for me anymore.

The chicken (They through out all their chicken at the end of the night so if you come during closing they might hook you up) :)

The best fried chicken in Seattle! I've been coming to Ezell's for years and it always satisfies my fried chicken craving! I don't know what crack they put in it but I seriously can't get enough of all their food. My favorites being their tenders of course, the spicy breast, BBQ beans, BBQ sauce, and the best sweet potato pie! I can say Ezell's can be hit or miss sometimes the food is more fresh, hot, spicy, or flavorful, but when you hit it while it's good I promise you will be coming back for more. They normally have super quick service though sometimes it can get busy during lunch or when their full with online orders. I normally get takeout but they do have a dining area which you bus yourselves after ordering upfront and them bringing the food to you. If your in the Seattle area or just looking for fixing a chicken craving Ezell's has to be a stop on your list!!!

    1 pound spicy chicken tenders

I have been eating at ezelles for 15+ years and cannot overstate the deliciousness of their chicken. This is my first visit to the new Ezell's in Factoria. I usually get the pound of spicy tenders with BBQ sauce. The tenders are perfectly crisp and not overly spicy. The fresh baked roll is light and fluffy with a slight sweetness to it - a perfect compliment to the tenders.

The chicken is absolutely the best. The value questionable but it's nice to have once in a while. This time, I tried fries as the side order and it was a mistake. The fries was soggy, flavorless and looks raw. Skip the fries.

Ordered mashed potatoes and gravy...scooped out some potatoes to find the gravy...no gravy or it dried out..disappointed.

Their most popular dishes are the rice rolls while everyone still complains about how long it takes to make stone pot rice dishes. In case anyone misses the fine print, it takes over 30 minutes. Another couple in the restaurant thought they forgot to make the dish and were yelling into the kitchen. The staff is friendly, though limited with their English. We ordered via the tablet at the front, and the food is brought out to us at the table. A rack on a wall has all the utensils and napkins, etc. Parking is plentiful. The Food: Shrimp Rice Rolls $11.99 - 4 Stars The rice rolls are still as good as I remember them. For some reason, it feels a bit out of balance this time. A lot of rice rolls, not a lot of shrimp. The sauce is fantastic and a must. Signature Beef Brisket Rice Rolls add Egg, $18.99+$1 - 4 Stars This is a beefy take on the rice roll. The added egg provided the yellow hue in the rice roll. Some brisket pieces are fattier. Their version is the traditional style with the chewy bit attached; some folks might hate it due to this. The sauce is also beefy. This is almost a soup, not in a bad way. Clear Soup Beef Offal with Daikon, $12.99 - 0 Stars This was a sad dish. When they say soup, they meant most broth, with few contents. The daikon wasn't tender. The offal and the soup didn't have much flavor. I rarely leave food behind, but I did for this dish. Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, $7.99 - 5 Stars The clear winner of the night were their wings. I believe four pieces of plump and fat wings, perfectly crispy and flavorful. I would order this again.

All were delicious but my favorite was the stone pot rice. Second time I ordered here, I got garlic chicken wings and fries. Loved it! The wings and fries tasted so fresh. Super crispy and juicy, flavorful. And they were super generous with the fries. There were tons and so yummy - crispy on the outside and soft and hot on the inside. Service is good too. We went on a Friday around 6PM and had a 10 minute wait to get seated - the place itself is busy and by the time our name was called, there was a crowd of 10-15 people gathering in the waiting area. There is plenty of parking for the restaurant as it is located in a strip mall. Even though we went during a peak hour, the flow of traffic in and out of the mall was constant - fortunately leaving convenient spots open as soon as you pull in. Ambiance is nice, there are plenty of Chinese decorations, and there are tables and chairs in the style of rural China. If you don't want to order the big pot - they will bring you to a table where the pot is closed with a lid. Ordering is done through their QR code menu, and the servers will come by afterwards to double check your order before sending it to the kitchen. Do note, if you want to order the big iron pot, it takes about 20 minutes to prepare and heat up. I would budge about 30 minutes before your main entree is ready. We ordered the pig ear salad and beef brisket iron pot with flower rolls (花卷): Pig Ear Salad ($14) - Salad tasted pretty solid! The pig ear was crunchy and was thoroughly coated in the classic chili oil vinegar sauce. The taste was fragrant, and not too spicy - I would say people with a mild to moderate spice tolerance would really enjoy this dish. The cucumbers served as another crunch factor, but also as a refresh/palate cleanse. For the amount of salad you get, I think the price is fine. Beef Brisket Iron Pot ($65) - When the server brings this out, they will prepare the buns and stick them to the sides of the pot to also cook and heat up, and then start a 20 minute timer to heat your food up. Once the timer is done, you can dig in! The sauce/broth in the pot is delicious - I would describe it as minestrone with Chinese ingredients, it tastes like there is a tomatey base, but I think it is more attributed to peppers. It coats each each in the pot nicely so you get a flavorful bite each time. The brisket was very tender and just falls apart as you eat it, and everything is delicious with the buns. For everything you see here, it was able to comfortable feed 3 people - maybe even 4. It does lean pricier per person, but the experience is novel and you do get a decent amount of food. In comparison to the other Chinese food in the Bel red area, I'm happy Dongbei harvest opened as it gives more variety to the typical Chinese offerings in the area. I think I would revisit again if I'm ever in the mood for some Dongbei food!
