Dropped in on a rainy Saturday after my shopping at Trader Joe's. It's my first time trying Potbelly subs. Place clean and my eyes immediately went to the menu to see if they have vegetarian options. I asked the person taking my order and she suggested the veggie melt or Mediterranean that they can take the meat out. I opted for veggie melt and they have lots of options for toppings and sauces . I got the works and added the spicy ranch. Second order was the chicken avocado wrap and did the same with the works topping. Our food did get a little soggy by the time I got home and opened it. But will say I enjoyed it and was stuffed. I will go back to try the Mediterranean. read more

Toasted subs, prepared and assembled right in front of you, from decent ingredients. Potbelly sandwich shop was founded in Illinois in 1977, but took until 1997 to expand...now having over 400 locations throughout the States. The many locations in the Seattle metro area have opened very recently, with this location in Redmond being the easiest to get to for me. To continue the theme of a sandwich dinner, I decided to walk to the nearby Potbelly to pick up a couple of sandwiches, but mainly to satisfy my craving for a genuine hand scooped ice cream shake. I carried it back to the apartment, and provided a nice repast for us on a Sunday night. First, the vanilla and strawberry shakes ($5.59 each) were very good. It uses hand scooped vanilla ice cream, mixed with strawberry syrup and milk in a blender. The vanilla shake was better than the strawberry, mainly because the strawberry syrup didn't really add as much flavor as I would have liked...but the base was excellent, using good ice cream. Cubano ($10.99), mixing ham and pulled pork with swiss, toasting it, then adding mustard and pickles. Cubano ingredients, but no sandwich press and the bread was wrong. Since I knew it wasn't authentic, decided to also add giardiniera, which was my mistake...it tasted fine, but completely overwhelmed the sandwich. Toasted Italian ($10.99), salami, capicola, pepperoni, and mortadella with provolone cheese. One can add any toppings you want. In my case it was lettuce, tomato, mayo. It's was a good sandwich. The bread for both sandwiches seems to be Torano, which along with Gonnella, are the two Chicago-area bakers known for their french rolls used to make subs and especially Italian beef sandwiches. This is different than most other sub chains that make their bread in-house. I thought the bread was fine, especially when toasted. Also the topping called hot peppers is really Chicago style giardiniera...really authentic...reminding me of Chicago. They also have a large selection of different soups, including a good beef chili I've had in the past. The store actually did remind me of sub shops from where I grew up, and thought the prices for the location were reasonable as well. read more

I love the quality of the food here but the restaurant is always dirty. It's a shame cause the staff are super nice at this location too. Maybe the owner should hire additional workers so the restaurant is clean? Just a thought but I would have done 5 stars had it been. read more

Sandwiches are fine, they're exactly what you'd expect. I've tried the turkey avocado and the chicken and cheddar ones on whole wheat bread. The turkey sandwich is something you really can just duplicate on your own - there's nothing that really stands out about this one. I did enjoy the chicken and cheddar one a lot more - the chicken is super tender and flavorful, and they give quite a good portion of it too. The thing to get here though is definitely the cookies. I had never had them before, and the first time trying them I was blown away. They're huge and really sweet, but so so good. The oatmeal chocolate chip is crispy on the edges and soft and chewy in the middle, and has the perfect amount of chocolate within. It also has the nice nutty caramelized flavor to it. The brownie cookie is also fantastic - more on the soft end all around but so soft and chocolately. You must try them!! read more

Can I just say that the service and food quality are superb! Yesterday was a BOGO so I was fulfilling a super large order from a group of people. I called the store like at least 3 times to make sure I got my 14 orders right for everyone and Cassidy was a hero that day. I had a bunch of special requests like tomatos, pickles, ranch on the side and she went above and beyond to accommodate. I called around 9:45am asking if it was feasible to put in a large order pick up at 11:15 and she said they could do it. When I arrived, on the dot 11:15 my orders were packed and ready to go. The best part too was that the sandwiches weren't soggy at all which was my concern since we wouldn't be eating them until around 12:30. The new garlic aioli sauce is amazing and the hot ranch was soooo good. I love these new sauces that Potbelly came out with. All the ingredients like the lettuce, cucumbers etc were fresh. I honestly don't know why this place doesn't have higher reviews. Cassidy was amazing! Thank you Cassidy for accommodating me and going above and beyond. Tried the Jalapeno popper chicken sandwich, it super hot! and delicious. not for the faint hearted. delicious jalapeno poppers along with chicken and jalapeno cream cheese and jalapeno crips. it's Jalapeno 3 in 1 bomb shell exploding in your mouth! and then the other usual of salad & soup! chicken pot pie is our favorite, good crunchy pot pie crust with juicy, soft chicken. super fast service, you place the order from the comforts of your home and its ready in the shelve when you come over! lots of parking! read more

The sandwiches are delicious and the soups are just ok. The soup is also very expensive for what you get both in quality and quantity. They also will charge you $4 for a 20oz bottle of soda. The sandwiches are quite good though and I will come back to get more of them, just no sides or drinks until they come to earth a bit on those items. Inside there are plenty of tables to sit and eat. I had long been curious about this restaurant chain of subs, and decided to try their signature milkshakes while I was at it. The prices seem to be roughly on-par with the other common submarine sandwich chains. ----- Mediterranean Sandwich: grilled chicken, feta, zesty hummus, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, cucumbers ($9.59). I picked the Original size with Multigrain bread. For the toppings, I added lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickle. The chicken and bread were standard in terms of quality. The artichoke hearts and roasted red peppers were the highlights among the toppings. When unwrapping the sub I did spot an eyelash though. ----- OREO Cookie Shake ($4.79). The shake was surprisingly light in consistency and not that smooth in texture, perhaps because I did not drink it immediately. As for the flavor, it was not that rich in OREO. ----- I had set my order to be picked up right at opening time, so I did have to wait a few minutes for it to actually be ready. Sad panda sandwiches. I've been going here for years since our little ones were as little as can be. A 'funny' thing happened - as the number of employees went up the service has gone down. We order on the web and pick up where there are six employees that used to be two or three. The place has quite a few customers but is as silent as death. It used to be that the staff was chatty, friendly, and skilled. Now it's quiet and they miss things. Make sure not only to check your bag but look inside your sandwiches. We've gotten hamless ham sandwiches and toppingless salads. It burns me to include tips on the app, so I'm dropping this warning to make myself feel better and give you a warning to look in your sandwich if it matters to you. Ordered and will never again. ordered online on their website scheduled delivery was 1:30pm I called at 2:00 and was told that DoorDash never picked up and that they would remake and have it delivered. TWO HOURS LATER still no food called only to be told to take it up with DoorDash. I said I ordered on their website why would I want to take it up with DoorDash. The employee hung up on me. Called again spoke to a woman who informed me that their manager had gone home for the day and that she would have to call me back on Thursday when she returns. I ordered on a Tuesday. I asked what the Managers name is and was told Cassidy. I also asked for the employees name who hung up on me and his name is John. Thursday came no call talked to the assistant manager, Anthony who informed me that he had heard what happened and will text Cassidy to call me. Never received a call back. By the way food was delivered at 2:45pm and I refused it because it was over 2 hours late!!!!! Lousy customer service. I reported via my credit card company who is investigating. read more

One of my greatest discoveries lately, I'm not sure how I went this long without knowing about this chain. Cheap, fast, delicious. I miss Quizno where they toast your sandwich for you and the meat taste real, but I've found a substitute! For a skinny sandwich which is plenty for lunch, with tax and tip, it only comes out to be around $8...but the main thing is that it's a damn good sandwich. It's very simple, you pick the size and type of bread, which filling you want, and after it's toasted, you pick the toppings. I do wish they have more sauce options like Subway, but mayonnaise will do. This location is next to Trader Joe's, plenty of parking in this lot. Decent option when you need food to go. We've been buying their Italian sandwich and taking it with us to hikes or outdoor activities over the summer. We've definitely enjoyed eating the sandwiches in nature. Fastest way is to order online and pick up in person. They are not good with phone orders or curbside pickup; would take way longer that way. I just don't get how they get so behind. My order said it would be ready at 1230 and took an extra 45 mins. It's just making sandwiches and pouring soup. For the second time in the last month, I ordered delivery to feed my staff, and the order got screwed up! The first time, the manager had to deliver my order himself because someone stole my food from the pick-up area, where they just set it out for delivery drivers without anyone checking who is taking the orders. Then today a driver delivered the wrong order (so someone else didn't get their food either!). When I tried calling the store (the only way you can contact them), I waited forever for someone to pick up. When I finally got someone and told her I got the wrong order, she asked me to come in to the store to get the right food. I told her I run a business and that's why I ordered delivery in the first place! (I mean, I placed the order at 9:15am for 11:45 delivery!). I told her if I drive over, they need to have my order ready to hand to me, since I can't leave work for too long. She told me they were busy. Then she put me on hold and never came back. Don't order delivery through the Potbelly app. They farm it out to Doordash and then they don't take responsibility when they screw up. read more

This chain of sandwich shop is still serving up your toasted sandwich favorites and milkshakes. In terms of taste, these chain stores are pretty much standardized. Their location is also convenient as it is located at the intersection of three major roads: Bel-Red Rd., 156 Ave., and 24 St; Despite the major intersection, traffic is surprisingly smooth without any major congestion. There is also ample parking outside. I would rate this place 4 stars if it wasn't for the fact that our sandwich maker sneezed all over the ingredients as he was making my sandwich. Good food. Terrible delivery/customer service. We give them the benefit of the doubt again and again, ordering for 10-12 people and every time the delivery is over an hour late. The food is cold, and soggy by the time it arrives, if it arrives. Maybe the $150-$250 orders aren't worth their time. And that's fine, cause there will no longer be orders coming in. As a company we'd rather pay an employee to drive and pick up an order from somewhere else than continually get lied to and receive cold soggy lunches. read more
