I would probably say a 3.5. My granddaughter really wanted Chick-fil-A for dinner. She ordered the chicken nuggets and waffle fries. I ordered the chicken salad. Service was great. We ordered at the counter and they called our name quickly. This Chick-fil--A is located in the Westfield Montgomery Mall food court. It was clean and well organized. My granddaughter loved her nuggets and dipping sauce. I tasted her waffle fries and they were scrumptious. Now, my salad on the other hand was okay. The lettuce had seen better days. There was tasty chicken, a small amount of cheese,hard boiled eggs, and lettuce. My granddaughter loved her meal. So,if she is happy, then I am happy. I probably wouldn't recommend getting a salad at this location. read more

Pretty easy breezy Chick-fil-A right in Montgomery Mall. There were no unexpected surprises while picking up my order at this location because everything pretty much went according to plan. I placed my order, waited about 5 minutes, grabbed it and went on my merry way. The food was served hot and crispy. Also, the service and prices were pretty much on par with other Chick-fil-As in the area. One thing that I really liked about my experience. The Chick-fil-A is located outside of the main food court area, which means there were not 50 million folks in the dining area (one of the corridors leading to the food court). read more

I was shocked at the customer service at Westfield Montgomery Mall Chik-Fil-A. Mgrs. Michael and Ashley, as well as their Chik-fil-a CARES line, were so rigid to their rules that they failed to care about me. I am a frequent customer, and my satisfaction was of no concern to them. Not even a complimentary coupon. Apparently, a customer is not ever right in their eyes. I don't complain often and I never write yelp reviews but I was not only annoyed but appalled. I have eaten at fast food, casual, fine, and Michelin in many cities and countries. If ever I was unsatisfied, it's been my experience that management has always cared to make my experience better. Never expect that concern at this location of Chik-fil-a. I will only go to their Rockville Pike or Silver Spring location from now on. Be warned. read more

I already knew what I wanted, so I ordered the Grilled Cool Wrap Meal, with a COKE ZERO. Wanted it with Honey Mustard, but they said they were out of it. So, decided to try the Avocado Lime dressing, which was alright... Not my favorite. Anyway, when I picked up my food and took it back to the office and tasted the fries, it was way too salty! I don't know who was cooking last night but there was 2 hairs in my food & I know they are not mine because it wasn't the same curl pattern as mine or color. Also, little miss eye lashes at the cashier stand was rude as hell over hot sauce. I was more than nice to her. Maybe it was the "I'm about to get off work" attitude. The location was a bit off from the main concourse of food options but it definitely wasn't hard to find. They only have a few registers but the line moves quick. This location gets packed during lunch time due to the nearby schools having open lunch. If you use the Chick-fil-A app you can order, pay, and pick up without interacting with anyone. What's even better is you can request which sauces you want too. The food quality has always been on par and the employees are always nice. I waited several weeks to see if the owner would respond to my feedback before deciding to leave this review. I was in the area and needed to grab a quick lunch. I regretted it immediately. I should've been suspicious when they had my bag ready less than 2 minutes after I placed the order, and the bag was cold. I received hard, stale, burnt fries. A soggy, cold sandwich. The only thing that was decent was the chocolate chip cookies. 2 stars for a warm cookie. I tried to reach out to customer service who sent my feedback to the manager 2 times, but I was never contacted. No need for me to address the food here. You either like chic Fila or you don't. I'm primarily a morning customer here because of the convenience and location. I have a morning routine coming to the mall here to walk with my kid. Mostly the mall is usually closed with a couple of exceptions. Starbucks and chic Fila make a two stop pair for me. I love their spicy chicken sandwich and chicken mini biscuits for breakfast I also really like their regular lemonade (I always dilute it with water since it's so sweet and end up with 2 cups - win!) the service is also super awesome at every location (except Rockville Pike) and they are always clean and have great freebies like the plastic kids placemats and the sauces :) I'm giving a mediocre review for this particular location because they are extra stingy for kids meals. We got 3 six piece chicken nugget meals and some of the pieces they counted were like crumbs (see the photo I posted). The pieces are small to begin with but to have a piece that's all breading and no meat is pretty stingy. Overall great chain but stingy location. read more

They took like 20 min to make me one breakfast sandwich and they didn't even make it right I asked for no cheese and my sandwich came extremely soggy with cheese and I didn't even see it until I went home and had to throw it away because I am allergic and I live and 30 min away from this location and they couldn't even refund me or do anything to fix it. This Chick-fil-A is at the very end of the food court in the Westfield Mall if you come in from the parking lot. Since it's in a mall, the only seating is in the food court and there is plenty of seating there. The service is as friendly as other Chick-fil-As and they sell all the same food. I recommend the spice chicken sandwich on a wheat bun with no butter. It shaves a few calories off of it and tastes better. Ask for the honey roasted BBQ sauce only available behind the counter. read more

Eat mor chikin! I can always count on Chick-fil-A for a delicious and relatively healthy meal. I came here with a friend for lunch. The location itself was well-lit and spacious, with Chick-fil-A's signature playground for younger children. The line was long but my food came out fast. I ordered large waffle fries, a 12-count chicken nuggets, a spicy deluxe sandwich, and an icedream cone. All of the food was beautifully presented and tasted fresh. The spicy chicken sandwich took my breath away - it actually looked even better than in pictures, a rarity for any fast food item. The bun had a pristine shine to it from the butter, the lettuce was a vibrant green, the cheese and the spicy chicken breast was perfectly plump and tender. I also had the choice of an array of different sauces in addition to ketchup - the Chick-fil-A sauce is my favorite. The Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich was absolutely succulent, and the half-melted cheese added just the right creamy texture to the fried chicken. The waffle fries were well-salted and not too soggy, and the chicken nuggets were the ideal balance of crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. For me, Chick-fil-A does both their chicken and fries better than any other fast food establishment. This Chick-fil-A didn't leave me feeling like I had just ingested heart disease and was a true treat for my taste buds. read more

Growing up in South Florida, Chick Fil A was always the first choice as far as fast food went. When we moved up to MD, I was disappointed that there were no Chick Fil A's to be found anywhere near us, until they opened up this Montgomery Mall location. And boy, am I glad they did! Every time I eat here, it's like biting back into a piece of childhood. And I will be the first to admit that "obsessed" would be an understatement for how I feel about their sauces. But I digress. The #1 reason this fast food location gets five stars is not just how much I love the food itself, but how much I love the management and employees of this franchise. I have reached out to them on several occasions about ordering platters for events - and honestly, sometimes, I've even contacted them day of. I've never been greeted with anything but warmth that radiates through the telephone. They are always ready to help, always ready to make anything I need happen, without ever saying no. If for some reason something isn't possible, they don't even say no then, instead they offer up an alternative, or another solution. I don't know about you, but customer service like that is not something I come across every day. I genuinely appreciate that this attitude is also present when I stop by just to grab a quick bite to eat. The employees are always professional and courteous, management is always visible, and no matter how crazy the mall is or how busy the line is, you are treated with the same warm smile and friendly face. I also love that they aren't stingy with their sauces, as I always ask for 1 of each sauce they have, and then extras. But now, I'm really pissed at myself for writing this review, because I'm craving Chick Fil A and they aren't open on Sundays! Ugh! read more

This CFA location is conveniently located in the food court of Montgomery Mall. During my recent visit, I ordered an 8 piece nugget meal with fries. The wait was surprisingly longer than expected...I would say close to 6 minutes for the "fast food." A few of my nuggets were overcooked and had a burnt look to them. The waffle fries were up to par and I noticed that they now offer a garlic buttermilk ranch dipping sauce...not sure if this replaces the original buttermilk dipping sauce. I noticed that the dipping sauces were not handed to you upon paying with the cashier, you receive them with your order. They do not serve breakfast at this location, but if you love their lunch menu it is offered in lieu of breakfast. read more

I've been to this location about two times before. The staff is nice, but can also be a bit snobby at times. They are stingy with their condiments (specially packed ketchup "bottles" and special sauces) and it takes FOREVER to get someones attention if you want to ask for extras. Service is fast which is really saying something because there is always a line at the register. I typically use the mobile app If I'm shopping in the mall, it allows you to order faster and they sometimes have cool promotions. Even though there isn't a drive thru, they still adopted the genius ordering system where another employee walks up to people waiting in line with a tablet and takes your order so you don't have to wait to order and pay at the register like they do at most drive thrus. Just like Starbucks, Chipotle or any other chain I enjoy, I don't usually feel the need to review them unless there's a specific reason. In this case, my reason is the amazing customer service at this location. Chick-fil-A is flat out delicious. I'm a digital nomad, and as such as I am constantly traveling around the world. You can find good burgers and pizza anywhere. But like In-N-Out, there's something about Chick-fil-A that makes it special. The classic chicken sandwich is perfection, and waffle fries dipped in honey mustard are as close to heaven as you can get. The employees at this location are always friendly and helpful. There's one woman I've seen for years who walks the food court and offers to get refills for people. There's a reason I grew up going to Montgomery Mall and yet have barely ever tried the other food court offerings. If only they were open on Sundays! read more

Even though this location is inside a mall, I felt the same good quality service and food. My chicken sandwich on multigrain was perfectly prepared and hot. These mofuckers have the best all American milkshake for the buck. Now the manager at this location is very rude and needs to be humbled down a lil bit. She yelled at her employee cuz I asked for extra whip cream and she gave it to me without charging me since I didn't ask for extra whip cream till after the transaction. I come back 2 days later during opening to get one of those crack milkshakes and the manager has an attitude towards me. Very rude... The 2 extra stars is because the milkshakes are crack and the one employee who got a verbal ass whoopin from the evil manager kept the customer happy and syced me up on whip cream...she did her job, which is to keep me happy.
