when i only have 10 minutes to spare. my favorite place to eat! actually, probably my ultimate favorite go-to place. as a child, my mom treated me to chicken noodle soup as she did her Nordy Shopping. (anyone remember that location at Cerritos mall, prior to the dawn of food Courts??!) My highschool lunch was the chikfila sandwich w/ bbq sauce. or grilled cesar salad (where i gave my sliced tomatoes away). This is every single time it was offered. every. single. time. in college, i yearned for the weekend to come by, so i can have subdue my addiction. now.. it's only gotten "worse". hahahaa Pros: service- they greet you hello & goodbye. they walk around & check up on you. fast food you say? sure doesn't feel like it. Also, they're quite honest with the nutrition facts. flip your dine-in place mat and you'll see it all spelled out for you. An awesome change just recently implemented is that the sauces are all laid out on the condiment/ napkin counter. so go crazy & try them all. & absolutely: the Food Cons: they took away the marshmallow mints. Phooey the Food: - original chicken sandwich: my favorite. i am adamant on eating ONLY chicken breast chicken sandwiches. none of that mashed up patty for me! but most places over cook. here, it's moist, deliciously and lightly battered, with a crisp. the bread.. o my. also comes with 2 warm but crunchy pickles. i usually take them out, let it cool, and treat myself later. HAhHaa - spicy chicken sandwich: new on the menu (& the reason that got me to write this review). and now there is no reason for me to go to wendy's. - delux chicken sandwich: same as above, with lettuce & tomato. i only order this if i eat "here", since the veggies get soggy - grilled chicken sandwich: to save those 100 calories (i'm guessing), not worth it. hahaa - chicken nuggets: i love these little babies. even more wrapped up in a mini buttered roll (see breakfast) - salads: grilled or chicken fingers. both great. veggies are fresh. comes with a bed of romaine, with goodies in each corner. cheese, cherry tomato, raw broccolli (blecch). packet of garlic croutons, and shelled sunflower seeds. for dressing, i suggest the raspberry vinaigrette. or honey mustard. SIDES - waffle fries. yay yay - chicken noodle soup: my childhood memory.. much like yours with those campbells 1inch noodles. hahaha - fruit cups: strawberries, mandarin oranges, apples, grapes. nice combo, eh? OTHER NOTEWORTHY ENDEAVORS - lemonade: yummy, but watch out. if there's very little in the dispenser, i'd skip it. will be much too sweet - breakfast: i'm a die hard fan of the mini chicken sandwiches w/ tatter tots & orange juice. the bread is brushed on w/ sweet butter. the chicken biscuit isn't a bad choice, either. burrito, there's always better. - ice cream: great treat. i never have room for this after my meal, though - shakes: ok, these are prob the one and only unhealthy item they sell. especially if you're also having a meal. but guess what? they now offer a smaller size. my choice: vanilla. SAUCES - my favorite is the original bbq for my sandwich. honey mustard for breakfast. (i know, weird. i once asked for honey in the drive-thru window and got this instead. and i'm stuck now). sometimes i wanted a bit of a kick (before the spicy chicken sandwich debuted) so i'd use some of the buffalo. chikfila sauce = mix of bbq & honey mustard. people.. i love this place. i am so glad they got rid of krispy kreme and built this location. the peeve with the mall location.. the parking and being in the mall. here, i'm in & out. also, the drive thru goes by Quickly Love it!! We love chick-fil-a and are frequent visitors to any and all of their locations. Restaurant looked clean and was very very busy. Loved that all the sauces were organized and ready for patrons to choose vs having to ask a cashier for it. The cashier was very sweet and patient since all 4 kids were talking to her at the same time. The food was a little disappointing. Our food came out like warm and was not made to order (we asked for everything to be well done) I was with friends so I didn't send mine or my daughters sandwich back and instead just ate it. My son however will not eat the chicken nuggets unless they are golden and crispy, so with 3 left I was forced to send them back since he wouldn't eat them. French fries were also like warm, On that note I would love for Chick-fil-A to explore their options on some different fries the waffle cut ones and underwhelming. Kids decided to have dessert so I ordered two kids to split and was offered a third one for free! Score! Moms had dessert too! read more

I've always heard my friends rant about how good Chick-fil-A is and I finally got the chance to see for myself. I got the chicken nuggets with their special sauce and I have no idea what the hype is about it. There's nothing special to it at all and it was way to salty. My family loves this place.... just NOT in the morning. Chick-fil-A is always our go to restaurant, the service and food are always great but lately we have noticed that the morning drive-through is a nightmare! Sometimes we would stop here for breakfast before heading to school but not for the last couple of months. They take a very long time in drive-thru and the people at the window, although Very nice and polite don't seem to be organized. This morning I came to get breakfast for my son before going to work and I was in the Drive thru line for about 10 to 15 minutes. Many of us take our kids to Chick-fil-A before heading to school down the street from the restaurant and a-lot of us have noticed the morning service is very slow. Moms and teachers agree we don't like to stop there in the morning anymore because we're always late to work or school. I wish the service in the morning would be faster. read more

This place is very popular. People drive a long way to go. Maybe I'm not a chicken person, because all the times I've been there the sandwiches are like any other chicken sandwiches. They are good, their fries are nice and crispy. They have a good choice of sauces. I just don't get the obsessions that people have. The servers are very friendly and way to happy. You do get a smile and they do let you now that hey are glad you stopped by. Most fast food places just want to server you and move on. I can see how that is appealing. read more

I love this Chick-fil-A! The food is really good and the people are so friendly always asking if I need a refill or saying "My pleasure". I wish all fast food joints were as good as this one. Their chicken is slightly breaded in a light dust of flour and seasoning. Chicken minis are my breakfast favorite! A little chicken nugget in a soft roll with just a touch of honey on top. What a well organized and clean ?fast food? Place. I can't really tell, this place is so nice, clean and friendly, it seems like a sit down proper Restuarant. They bring your food to you, food is great and good quality, condiments section is so clean and well organized it's really amazing! Greeted at the door, right when I came in. I think the error was mine... anyhow, the manager was on it (I believe her name is Naomi). She asked if I had 10 minutes, took my order then and there, and fast-forwarded 2 trays of food to feed my staff of 22. I was only those 10 minutes late to the party. I go to Cerritos store as it is close to home. I love your chicken egg white muffin and grilled chicken as I do not eat a lot of fried food. Every time I go through drive up I either get the fried stuff or the sandwich is completely wrong . One time it was the sausage sandwich, another time the person at the drive said it was my fault. and this time my chicken egg white was fried. When I have to drive all the way back to get the issue resolved that is wasted time . The manager said sorry and handed me deep fried potatoes which I don't eat. I told her and she said oh sorry. Or you say I will work with our people on the issue. Guess that did not work! Your store is the worst to go to as orders are always wrong or they give you sweet tea instead of unsweet. I'm very disappointed in this store because it's not fast food but slow food. I think they maybe getting the chicken live and starting from there. The drive thru takes 20 minutes. Seriously, 20 minutes with 5 people working the drive thru and only 4 cars ahead of me? Come on that just doesn't make sense. Please whatever efficiency experts are out there help them out. According to those drive thru Windows girls I should have been eating a salad a long time ago. I admit, I never had Chick-fil-A despite living around the Cerritos area for most of my life. It wasn't until my group and I did a presentation on Chick-fil-A that I was fortunate to have the opportunity to interview the owner. Their company culture and method of running their business is refreshing. Enough about the company...the food was sooo good. McDonald's new chicken sandwich has nothing on Chick-fil-A. For almost the same price you can get a tasty sandwich or wrap (that's actually healthier) with friendly service. Oh and the coffee is really good there..i've gone out of my way to get coffee there. i love this chick-fil-a and not just because i think the store operator, robert hensen, is kinda dreamy. (okay, i jest, he is REALLY dreamy. i wouldn't mind being his mrs. chick-fil-a.) we all know how amazing their chicken sammiches and waffle fries are, and the staff here is just as incredible. the employees are constantly circulating around the dining area, cleaning up and fetching you refills for your soda. mark is always SO nice to me. he even gave me a paper chick-fil-a hat once, and was very informative when i asked why the honey roasted bbq sauce is never available at the condiments counter. (it's apparently worth more than other sauces. i must literally have expensive taste, haha.) as this free-standing unit is outside the cerritos mall, parking is never scarce. After hearing for years by my niece this place is awesome... I decided to give it a try today. I came in here and it was pretty full. Luckily there is ample space and parking. The reason why I am rating 3 is for two reasons. -1 pricing. $7+ for a sandwhich meal that wasnt fulfilling for me. Pretty pricey. -1 meals. The chicken and food does taste good, but seeing as how it didnt completely fill my tank, about 75%, I wouldnt say I was completely happy. Dont get me wrong, everything else is perfect: decor, ambience, staff, people. But the portion sizes along with the pricing made me sad :'( $23 for 2 1/2 people. I would definetely eat at Chic-fil-A. But I'll wait until they open up the one in Downey. Lot closer to home. read more
