" I was originally supposed to go out to dinner and plans fell through so I found myself in need of food and not wanting to wait on a Saturday night to eat at a restaurant. This is the first time I have eaten at a Chic fil a in around 15 years. I was presently surprised. The inside is nice, clean and updated. The staff is friendly. I had always been impressed by the level of quality and service at Chick-fil-A, but felt that this location needed extra recognition as it is my go-to place for lunch. The employees at this location are super friendly and they all work ridiculously fast. Often times I find myself placing an order and seconds later (before I even complete my payment), my food is presented to me at the register. It is pretty incredible and extremely convenient when you are in a rush to get a quick lunch in. The employees genuinely care about their customers and if you find yourself waiting too long they will offer you a cookie or ice cream cone as compensation. Today, I found myself waiting for an order placed through their recently launched app. Not one, but TWO employees came up to me to see if I needed assistance. I'm endlessly fascinated by chains I don't see out where I live and Chick Fil A qualifies as one of those. Every time I order food whether it's through the drive-through or eat in, our food is barely warm. We do not have this problem at other Chick-fil-A locations. Being on a special meal plan for my upcoming kickboxing fight I have to bring my food everywhere with me (its just easier). My husband on the other hand does not so he wanted to stop for a quick bite to go before heading to our massages. Anyway, he had a free coupon for a chicken sandwich and a free coke for the month of April with his calendar card. We both went inside and the lady who rang up his order for the free sandwich, free coke and an order of waffle fries had no problems. My husband added to the confusion when he asked for the sandwich to be the grilled sandwich instead of the usual breaded chicken sandwich. Again there was no issue with order. Although we have been loyal customers of Chick-fil-A for as long as I can remember, this particular location continues to disappoint us with mediocre service and unprofessional management. We stopped with my family at this particular location at around 8pm on a Tuesday, and I wish we would had turned around and go to one the many fast food restaurants in the vicinity. The place was a mess, there were a several employees hovering on the cash registers and none of them would acknowledge us. After a few minutes of standing on line somewhat confused we finally get asked "if we were ready" by one of the cashiers. We place our order as usual, my wife and I felt like having a hot coffee with our meal and as usual the cashier told us "it would take 10 minutes to make it", we were prepared to wait after all fresh coffee is worth waiting for. We take the number to our table, few minutes after waiting for our food to get delivered, a young lady/employee approaches us and stated that they could not serve hot coffee because the machines were already cleaned. Yup, this restaurant closes at 10pm and we get told almost two hours before closing time that their coffee machine is already cleaned?, I could care less if machine is clean or not, this restaurant has HOT COFFEE as part of the drink options on the menu with no DISCLAMERS as to what time they stop serving it. Sure enough I ask to speak with the manager, Dylan a young man who stated that he was the "Active Manager" did not even apologize for the inconvenience nor offer some kind of reasonable explanation. Again, this is not the first time having to almost argue for several minutes in order get hot coffee in this location. If it's so INCONVENIENT to serve just get it off your menu!!. One last point, I believe that no employee in location is using "my pleasure" because obviously it's now all about the green and convenience of who ever is running the place. It's not Sunday is it?! Okay good, because that's when I want Chick-fil-A the most! Sighh... This location is awesome! Not only have I met the owner but I got to work with him when I use to go to Chantilly Highschol for my marketing class. He's a super nice and smart man and it definitely shows in this location. All employees are more than friendly and you can always tell they have a smile when they take your order through the drive through. Usually when you are dining in, they walk around and get your refills and ask if you need napkins, sauces or anything else. The food is consistenly delicious and they've never messed up an order. The cookies and cream milkshake are deliciously bad for you but sooo good. I also like the homemade ice teas and lemonades. Of course, who can say no to their waffle fries especially with their sweet and sour sauce and chick-fil-a sauce. Obsessed with the chick fil a minis for breakfast and the biscuit and gravy is quite good. What you need to avoid are weekdays between 12-3pm and Saturdays because these lines are packed both inside and outside. It's chaotic and I just try to avoid it at all costs. They have different activities going on weekday nights for kids like magician shows, story time, balloon making etc. So that's great for parents because you don't have to cook and you can relax for a bit (unless your kids are bad then I'm sorry you'll have to watch them). Besides that, they are pretty speedy and prompt with service. Its kept very clean also (not sure if I can say that for the kiddie playground). Overall, great location. read more

I come here for my favorite Chick-Fil-A breakfast special: #4 spicy chicken biscuit, side of hashbrowns, and coffee. (It's even spicier if you add the Texas Pete hot sauce.) The mini hashbrowns are fun and provide just the right amount. The coffee is a guaranteed eye-opener. We come to this one about once a month. The playground is normally empty except when the re is something going on at the expo. We have been several times and our child has been the only one there. The service is like every other chick fil a we have gone to, fast, courteous, and prompt. This Chick-Fil-A is a little older which kind of gives it that stale feeling you get when going into an older fast-food restaurant, but generally the place is kept pretty clean. The staff has always been very friendly and I have never received food that wasn't fresh. The advantage of staying at the Holiday Inn Chantilly is that you can walk across the street to this Chick Fil-A. Often this is my first meal off the plane on trips to NOVA. The beauty of walking over is that you don't have to deal with the crazy traffic and all the cars in the parking lot for all the fast-food restaurants in this strip mall. I can't add much about the food and service - they are outstanding as always. I should point out that on some nights, the restaurant has some kind of deal for kids. if you go on that night - it was Tuesday night this week - prepare for a long wait and a crowded place to eat. On most visits, service is very good and restaurant is clean and inviting. The "table service" (i.e., delivering your food to you) is nice. A couple of times recently the fries are not as fresh as they could be - on the soggy side, obviously had been sitting for a while. On one visit, I took them back and they gave me a fresh one - the difference was night and day both in terms of crispness and temperature. I only grade this location lower because we ordered a platter for my daughter's first birthday party and when I arrived to pick up the order it was not ready. Not only was it not ready, they had no record of it. Unfortunately my wife did not give me the confirmation of the order, so I had no "proof" that we placed the order. I had to wait around 30 minutes for them to fill the order so we were late to the party. Not great making people wait for their lunch! And the main reason we went to that location is because we received a mailer for free iced tea with the order (at least they got that right). My wife complained to corporate and they did send us two 8 piece nugget certificates (which we redeemed at the Fair Oaks location). My wife prefers to go to the Fair Oaks location now since we can take our daughter to the play area in the mall. read more

I love the food (chicken strips or nuggets, and LOVE the waffle fries). I'm not personally a fan of the grilled nuggets (and 95% of the time I prefer grilled to fried), but have friends who like it with sauce and it's nice that it's an option. The chicken soup is fine (not great but perfectly enjoyable), I just don't see the point when I love the fries and like the chicken so much more. In terms of this location's quirks, they're the only Chick Fil A location I've been to that doesn't let you order a four-piece nugget independent of a kids meal. The manager has told me that if the Fair Oaks location does (they do), their location should too, but it's been a few years and clearly it's not happening here. Waste of money when I'm not hungry enough for eight pieces. Their sweet tea can also be a little sub-par - I've never really noticed with my actual drink, but when my family buys a gallon of sweet tea for company, etc, it's always been a bad batch from this location. So if you want a gallon of the good stuff, get it at Fair Oaks. Sub-par batches are rare there. I usually use the drive-thru, but when I have eaten inside it's always been clean. Staff inside and at the drive through are friendly and polite. Even long lines go surprisingly quickly, and they're pretty quick with the food even during rushes. Note: This review is only about the food/service, not the chain's politics. But since I don't care for many quick food options (and Chick Fil A and Subway are literally the only places I like that are convenient to my general area), I just donate $1 to a gay rights organization every time I eat there to compensate for the fraction of a penny from my meal that they put towards causes I find deplorable. read more

EVERYTHING on the menu is SO good. My personal go-to's are the spicy chicken sandwich, fries, and the Oreo milkshake. They also have seasonal flavored lemonades like mango passionfruit or strawberry passionfruit and those are even better. Now, i am in general of big fan of Chick-Fil-A and this particular location is my favorite. Food is great --- never had an issue with any order. This location is amazing in its staff --- always on top of their game, asking if you want a new drink when your cup is empty and so important - working to get the line moving during the rush times. And having small children, I totally appreciate the little containers of Cheerios set out for the babies and the table cover mats so the kiddos can put their food on them. I normally always love this place, I get the best service ever, I come here everyday and never had a problem with the staff or food, But today June 2nd, 2020 around1:30-1:45, I went to pick up my order and the 2 ladies giving out the food, were both really unorganized and confused themselves and me, I was trying to pay for my food but they were so confused about the orders that they would just ignore me, and eventually I asked for extra sauce and one of the ladies rudely cut me off and told me I already had some in the bag.. what does "Extra" mean?
