I am honestly embarrassed at how often my family eats here, but I blame my husband who is truly addicted!! This location is fairly new (just a few years old now), and was really just a revamp for more space from the old location which was right across the street. It's verrrry busy, especially the drive-thru line, and it can often times move very slow. I also always feel like people 3 cars behind me end up getting their food first and it's just not the most streamlined system, but nonetheless, the employees here are so kind and friendly and make for a pleasant experience even after a long wait. They have limited outdoor seating which is also a bit frustrating, especially with this new location which has a really nice sized lot, but inside has plenty of high top tables and booths. They also decorate it seasonally and it always turns out cute. Also appreciate the little kids corner they have with some games and things for little to play with during their visit. My go-to's are the grilled chicken cool wrap with avocado lime dressing, nuggets, or the sandwich with pepper jack cheese. I also recently tried the "viral" kale salad and grilled chicken combo and it was pretty good for a healthy, protein packed meal. read more

I love me some Chick-Fil-A. The staff here is very friendly and the food is good like any other location but this location has some issues. My order has been inaccurate 3 times in a row now. A few weeks ago we were moving and went here to buy lunch for the movers. They left out one of the 8pc nuggets I ordered and paid for. Next time I ordered a Spicy Deluxe but add bacon. Charged extra for the bacon, got home, no bacon. Today again ordered a Spicy Deluxe with bacon...this time it had the bacon but no cheese and I did not remove the cheese in the customization on the app. I lived right by the one at Avalon since it opened until a year ago when we moved to Cumming. I went there at least once a week. Drive thru was always super fast no matter how many cars were in line and my oder was always accurate. This Larry Mulkey location though, something isn't right there. Drive thru is very slow, 3 inaccurate orders in a row... this is not the Chick-Fil-A experience I'm used to. read more

Had such a pleasant experience at this chik fila! They were very very busy especially at the drive thru around 11am, but our orders inside completed fairly quickly. It's very spacious inside and the staff are very jolly and helpful. They're very cheery which I absolutely adore. I ordered my typical veggie wrap meal and decided to try out the peppermint coffee drink. When I say it was addicting, it was ADDICTING. It's so so yummy for the holiday season and there's even little chocolate chunks blended throughout the drink. It's absolutely delicious, must try! read more

Excellent service at this restaurant. First time I have been to this location. Love the layout where the dining room is off to the side and you do not have a view of the service counter. My grandson and I had the #1 meal deal. Food was out to us quickly and hot. Plenty of seating area, large parking lot to accommodate all of their customers. We ate inside tonight. Normally do the drive thru which is also very efficient. I know at times it will take awhile to get thru the drive thru. When you have some of the best food you may have to wait. I came in this week and met Alison Freemon, and I have to say--she was beyond amazing and absolutely deserves a raise! I work in management at a local apartment community, and Alison was knowledgeable, kind, charismatic, and incredibly personable. She makes everyone feel welcome and the entire team is the true meaning of great customer service. I watched her interact with several regular customers, and it was clear that they adore her. She truly is a superstar! She even provided me with helpful information to share with my residents and a free Chick-fil-A card for our move-in packets. Food Allergies Beware of this location!! I ordered the hashbrown breakfast bowl with grilled chicken and let them know I am gluten free (celiac) and need to make it is grilled chicken. The bowl had grilled chicken for an allergy but when eating it I realized something tasted different, the fried chicken I am allergic too was mixed and sprinkled with parts all in the bowl. I was very upset and let the manager know it makes me very sick and how important it is to not do this to people. I trust Chick-Fil-A and what food I'm getting from them. I requested they compensate the bowl, but the director refused and would only replace it. I asked for the store number and general manager's number, but he refused to provide that. He would only provide an 800 number for corporate. He refused to tell me when or how to contact the store's general manager and suggested I just randomly call the store. I ask again, so you will not refund me my $3 or $4 for the bowl and he said no. He was incredibly dismissive and rude. Meanwhile, my entire day will be spent dealing with the ramifications of this. This chick-fil-a deserves a negative star. It is bar far the worst one I've ever visited and I'm disappointed on a regular basis for the time that I've eaten there. I've had 2 different times that they have used the breakfast size filets for the sandwiches. I've had to ask them to please fill my drink up because the cup they handed me feels like it is half full. The two other chick-fil-a's that are closest to this one are night and day better. Someone from corporate needs to come in and observe this location to fix this one's problems. Husband visited the brand new Chick Fil A for takeout and said dining room was much nicer than the other location down the road. He noticed this one was very busy and has more available parking spaces. I texted that I wanted a Chick Fil A combo meal #1 with waffle fries and sweet tea with no pickles, add the bacon and Colby cheddar cheese, and grab some honey hot mustard packets please and don't forget the Autumn milkshake. He came home and I noticed the bag was overflowing and stuff falling inside. I checked the order and everything was correct! I was so happy that I even found an extra sandwich in the bottom of the bag so gave it to husband to take to work next day which was a Sunday! Was craving Chick-fil-A and luckily was able to find one close to where I was at the moment. This one looks to be a fairly new CFA and is quite large! They have a pretty big drive thru as well, but I decided to step inside to order. There is plenty of seating available indoors as well. I ordered a spicy chicken biscuit and hash browns and had my order ready right after I paid. The biscuit and hash browns were hot and tasted just like they should. Has success ruined Chic-fil-a!? I have recently been making a trek to Chic-fil-a in Cumming, as my 4 year old grandson loves the place, as does my family. Me, well not so much. In its humble beginnings as "the Dwarf House", the baby of Truett Cathy, Chic-fil-a has exploded into a mega fast food denizen, bringing its simple chicken sandwich all over the world. As in Cumming, the initial restaurant was quickly overrun with success, and had to look for greener pastures. At its giant location off Highway 9 at Larry Mulkey Boulevard, this chicken cooking megalith is puttin out sandwiches, wraps, waffle fries and breakfast, as fast as patrons can purchase them. Therein lies the rub. I was requested to pick up lunch for my grandson and his mom, on my home from a nearby errand. As usual, it was around 1159-1200, deep in the lunchtime races. And I thought that I would love one of the new spicy pimento cheese chicken sandwiches. Until the arrival of this specialty item, there was nothing on their menu that interested me, as I've had better chicken sandwiches(my opinion) for a lot less. I turned into the complex and traffic was backed up off the property, at the drive thru lanes. However, grandson wanted nuggets, so the options were closed. I sat in the line for 15 minutes until I was greeted by a smiling employee, who took my order on her electronic tablet. Paid up, and waited. Another 10 minutes go by. People were jockeying for position as only one drive thru lane was open. I kept my cool, as others appeared frazzled as they waited. Finally, here comes a person with my order. Smiling face, saying"my pleasure" as a response to my "thank you". Drove off with a positive attitude. Well.......... I knew I should have checked my order before I left, I always do. But, not this time. Instead of the spicy pimento cheese chicken sandwich, I was given a grilled chicken sandwich with some pitiful looking lettuce on it. Waffle fries were cold and instead of the beautiful large slices of waffle fries, I got a large pile of broken ends and pieces. Ditto for the two other orders. I had one drink with no ice and got three with no ice. The wrap I ordered and kids nuggets were correct. Now I am not one to gripe often about fast food places unless there is a reason. I began my career in fast food, and cooked for a living for a while. Retired as a Paramedic/Firefighter, had a restaurant and bed and breakfast for a while, so I am keenly aware of the issues faced by restaurants today. However, this is the second time in two weeks that my order from Chic-fil-a was in error. And by the time I got home and found the error, I did not want to back and wait in line to correct it. It's just not worth it. Needless to say, it will be a good while before I order at Chic-fil-a. Can't speak for the family,but for me again, it's just another chicken sandwich. Have made multiple visits to the new Chick Fil A location as usual the food, chicken sammy and Mac & Cheese is delicious. I always do the walkin to go order and employees are friendly and courteous. The parking is a little sparse, however, this is Chick Fil A so it seems is always packed. Would like to see a few more employees handling the walk in to go orders but none the less only once did it take a longer time to receive my order. Otherwise the employee response has been handled in a timely fashion. Love the new locations and being able to go inside the restaurant. Keep up the great work!! read more

This is the worst chick fil a. My wife is in the hospital across the highway and loves chick fil a. This location has messed up all of our orders. They can't put the right cheese on a biscuit, give you a straw, give you the correct sauces and the drive thru line is always ridiculous until you order. It's like the guy that takes the orders likes to take his sweet ass time messing up everyone's orders. I will be disputing all charges with my credit card company.
