Overall I do like Chick-fil-A because service is spot on and they train their employees to be friendly and courteous. The issue I have at this location is they use old, stale bread and this is just not acceptable. I always order the grilled chicken sandwich so I know what good fresh bread taste like. Bread shouldn't be hard and crumbly and stale. This is twice at this location that I have been served stale old bread. I've had my fare shares of fast foods restaurants and services but I rarely eat at Chicken because never really wanted it. In July 2020, I thought I give it a try since we had so many takeouts due to Covid. I ordered about $40 worth of foods for 3 people, services and drive through were quick and fast HOWEVER, when I got home, I was missing a wrap. I called the store and spoke to the manager and they were ok of putting my name down to owe me one on the next visit. I was skeptical but I did it anyway. Two weeks later, I thought I'll get that missing wrap and try out the place again. This time I ordered alsmost the same but by the time I got home, I was missing 3 items and 2 of those were large fries. Now it was my fault for not checking it the 2nd time since it did happened before BUT thought I skipped because no way they would miss it again. I called the store and spoke to the manager and they said to put on IOU again BUT I was hungry, and was not in the mood for this being 2nd time. I drove by and will never visit this chain again. The drive thru gave me the wrong order, receipt on the bag was my order so didn't bother looking in the bad because chick fi la is always on there game. This would be a regretful mistake. But I called them and spoke with the manager (forgot his name ) but they made it right and obviously let me keep the wrong order of sandwich (which I didn't mind it was the deluxe chicken sandwich ) and said next time I come in they would hook it up with the original meal I had ordered that they got wrong but instead of small fries upped it to large. it been a long time since I have eaten here and the place is crowded especially at 4:30pm on a weekday no less as the drive in was out the lot and the line was long. But do not be intimidated the line moves fast and you get your food fast. I ordered the chicken sandwich deluxe and the garden salad. Both were really good and chicken was juicy. I loved the honey mustard sauce and the ranch one. The lemonade was on the very sour side and takes some getting used too as well. The waffle fries however were soggy and did not taste crispy that is the only complaint. Costumer service was great too as I was treated like a guest. Fastest Chick-FIL-A ever! There were about 30 cars in front of me, and the line wrapped around the corner, crowding the Home Depot parking lot. Ugh. However, from start to finish, 10 minutes! Amazing!!! The workers were literally running to take orders, and hopping from car to car. As always, they were friendly and courteous. "My pleasure." Yeah! Even my kids say that now! Love Chick-Fil-A for their fresh, quality ingredients, friendly and courteous service, and upholding their values (closed on Sunday). It's not cheap, but seems more like 'real' food, vs. regular fast food places. And it's fast! Don't let the long lines intimidate you. My kids get the kids meal, w/ 6 count nuggets. Older kids can trade in the 'prize' for an ice cream instead. Really like the quality of their 'prizes' though. Usually little books or activities that aren't plastic junk. We have a spot it game from them, cute coloring books, real books, etc... Can't go wrong w/ most things on the menu. The spicy chicken sandwich is spicy and yummy! Their salads are large and filling. The parking is not great but because Home Depot is around there is plenty of parking and afterwards you can shop there. Picked up a 30pc nugget meal on 11/20, and it was so salty we couldn't eat it. I like salty, but this was clearly a mistake somewhere in the process. I reported this to them via their website, and Matt, from Folsom, got back to me within a couple of days. He proceeded to tell me that they don't make mistakes (seriously), and so was sorry that my tastes were off and found it a little salty, and offered me a cookie. There are four of us, and we are all familiar with the taste of their chicken, and like it. This one time something went wrong, and we were ALL unable to eat it. I tried! So, I'm out a meal, the money for that meal, and insulted on my ability to taste to boot (I'm a cook, btw). Matt was too arrogant to admit that they just might have made a mistake this time. After an exciting day of white water rafting, I have to feed the boyz. They all ordered the fried chicken sandwich and went crazy at the condiment section! (and rightfully so! I wish I had a bigger bag with me so I could've packed some for home! LOL) The hot Sactown weather got me craving for a healthy salad. Fresh greens, blueberries, green apples, strawberries, blue cheese with a zesty apple cider vinaigrette -- oh, it hit the spot. I balanced my healthy salad with a serving of their waffle cut fries. I wished my fries were more crispy, but we finished it all anyway. Chik Fil A is so great because it has the feel of being served in an actual restaurant but without the restaurant prices. We happened to be in Folsom California today. Here we enjoyed watching movies at Palladio 16 Cinema on Tuesday for their 5 dollar movie day. What a bargain! There we were told that our ticket stub can be redeemed for a #1 chicken sandwich with any purchase at the local Chick-fil-a. This restaurant is located next to Home Depot off of East Bidwell Street. Parking was not a problem. The restaurant looked fairly new. As we entered we were greeted by "Welcome to Chic- fil-a"by an associate. Now that's a greeting! I wanted to try something new so I ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap and was not disappointed!! My wife had the Chargrilled Chicken Garden Salad. She was very pleased with her salad and will definitely order it again. They treat every customer like they were family. You can't say that about too many places nowadays. To be fair, I gave this place a try. This place seems very popular and a lot of my friends kept telling me how good it is. Well finally I cam here and I tried it. Sadly I don't want to come back. The service is really good here. You place your order at the counter. I thought it was weird how the cashier gets the drinks for you. You don't have to wait there for your food. Someone comes to your table. How do they remember? Also if you want refills you have to take your cup back to the cashier or something. What I thought was interesting was their collection of condiments! Love it. They use good quality chicken for their sandwiches. Great! However, everything was so salty. Blech. After eating at chik fila a, I think I'm going to switch permanently to chicken instead of beef. Chicken is more sustainable than beef and a lot more healthier than beef. All the employees always have a smile on their faces, even when they are standing outside at 100+ heat taking order. I love it when I say "thank you " and they reply "it's a pleasure", this to me just show how much they care for their customer. Bravo. Yum. If you want to drive-through chicken sandwich that is delicious, order a number one deluxe. This sandwich is so good, and they give you a huge piece of chicken. The service at the drive-through is excellent. Everyone is really nice. I think the barbecue sauce is better than McDonald's barbecue sauce. Also, speaking of McDonald's. Did you know that McDonald's doesn't use a piece of chicken breast for the chicken sandwich? They put together various pieces of the chicken , grind it up, and then combine that into a patty to make it look like a piece of chicken breast. Also, in regard to chick fil a's waffle fries, they are quite delicious. I love when you get a piece that has a lot of potato skin on it because it feels like you're eating a baked potato. The fries at McDonald's can be good but they're not consistent. The fries at In-N-Out Burger are disgusting. And the milkshake is amazing - so get the peppermint milkshake it's really good. You have to like peppermint it's strong. Chocolate is 2nd fav. Strawberry not good. For what this place is, a drive-through fast food chicken sandwich or chicken place, I'll give it 5/5 stars. The employees here obviously are working really hard especially during the pandemic and they wear masks and appropriately package of the food. The only criticism I have is that they use an additional bag to give you your condiments in. This is not good for the environment. There's no reason to give me a bag unless I'm getting five or six or more condiments. I'm just getting one barbecue sauce just hand me the barbecue sauce. read more

The first time I ordered Cobb salad with spicy filet, they gave me grilled chicken. Easy mistake. The Second time was pretty bad. I ordered Cobb salad with spicy filet, Mac n cheese, and chicken nuggets. I received a blue cheese market salad and chicken nuggets. Totally wrong salad and completely forgot to put in the Mac. Today makes three. I ordered my usual Cobb salad with spicy filet and I received no dressing at all. Like it's just a dry salad. This location used to have amazing service. We eat at Chik fil a a lot- but today was different. My grandson and I had a great lunch- then 4 hours later realized I had thrown away his retainer in the trash! I immediately called the store- the manager Bobby said he'd look for it. I really had no hope it would be found- but less than an hour later- Bobby called and said he had found it! This review is so long overdue. I never thought I would be one to write a 5 star review for fast food. But I have used every service that this Chick-fil-a has: mobile drive through, take out, and dine in and I am thrilled that my work is within a short driving distance. My usual go to order is the Spicy delux meal with medium fries and a medium Arnold Palmer (1/2 lemonade + 1/2 sweet tea). The chicken is always tender and juicy. But I will say that sometimes the spicy chicken is more spicy than normal, but I don't mind because I like spicy and it tells me that they make their chicken fresh. The fries are criss-cross fries, and they are always the perfect consistency. I don't like my fries soggy, and they are ever so slightly crispy. Service here is great! They are always really fast. The only time I had to wait a long time was when I did take out and I had to wait a while, but they were super apologetic about the wait. The first time I did mobile ordering I didn't trust it when they said to hit submit when you are IN the restaurant, so I hit submit right before I drove over (which was only a 10 minute drive). I got a call when I was 5 minutes away from someone saying that my order was ready and they asked me how far away I was because they wanted to make sure that my food was nice and hot and not soggy when I arrived. I really didn't mind, but the lady insisted that they remake my order, which I am so ashamed about. But I am very glad to know that they are dedicated to making sure that the orders are at the perfect temperature when their customers arrive. When I want good food fast, this is my choice! I love that you can get a fresh fruit cup as your side and bottled water as your drink. I always order the Cool Chicken Wrap with Avocado Lime Dressing. I have them add tomatoes to it. A perfect lunch or dinner on the go. Sometimes I come and get a bite before going to the gym, and this meal doesn't make you feel heavy and slow. Idk what's going on with them--possibly new management? Similar to a recent review here, husband ordered Cobb salad with extra chicken, spicy. He said they were confused and said they couldn't do it at first. When he gets the order home it's grilled chicken on the salad and a spicy patty on the side. Ok, but then no dressing?! No bueno guys. What is it about chain restaurants and fast food in Folsom? So many of them are not up to par with what you expect from other locations. Stopped by at Chick-fil-a today when I was getting new tires nearby. It is a nice, bright, well lit restaurant run by staff that are cheerful and friendly. I ordered Fries, fruit cup and lemonade. I have eaten better fries at other chick-fil-a's before. May be these were not super fresh and not just out of the fryer. I was not asked for any ketchup or ranch. I go here more often than I should but the food is good and the staff are typically too notch. In the winter, their chicken noodle soup is very good. They also have a winter seasonal peppermint chocolate shake that is outstanding. They are almost always very slow in the drive-thru and today was no exception. I checked the clock when I got in line and I found that 11 minutes passed before I was even able to place my order. Then it took 10 more minutes before I received my food. 21 minutes from the time I got in line until I received my food is not acceptable. The young man at the window/cash register showed absolutely no sense of urgency. Even after all this, the food was still up to CFA standards. read more
