I ordered 2 Chicken sandwiches last night 5/17/23 around dinner time. Ate both accompanied with the fries and a soft drink. This morning around 4am I woke up with the worst pain in my stomach. I've been on and off the toilet for hours until finally i threw up everything i ate last night. Feels & looks like food poisoning. Google says salmonella but there's no way to know for sure. Chick fil a Folsom's staff and overall management has seriously gone down-hill in the past year. The owner, Matt, is careless and rude. I complained about my incorrect sandwich to him, but he brushed it off and explained how his restaurant doesn't make mistakes. I've seen workers pass out while working because it's so hot. We were on our way home from Adventure Mountain and got hungry. Chick-Fil-A was our second choice as our first was closer to the freeway. Any-who, we were glad to have gone to -Fil-A. They had Christmas lights all over and even a radio station for your wait in the drive thru. It was magical and a great way to end a pretty bad ass day! Bathrooms were clean. Came here today passing by on a road trip. Never had a chick fil a before. This location is very clean. Great customer service. The condiments were nicely organized. I had a number 2 with no pickles. They bring out your order to you which is nice! The chicken sandwich was great! It was nice to see waffle fries. I didn't like the fruit punch! It was too sweet. Loved that they had outdoor seating. When it comes to the owners stance on equal rights, I can't say that I agree at all with them, but I can't deny the fact that this place makes a mean chicken sandwich. Chick-Fil-A has great chicken sandwiches that you can get crispy or grilled. They also offer chicken nuggets (which are my favorite), salads, breakfast sandwiches, the works. Meals come with your favorite soda or lemonade and a side of their crispy and delicious waffle fries. Don't go on Sundays, because they are closed. The food is always piping hot and full of flavor. This particular location in Folsom deserves all the praise in the world because they are the definition of excellent customer service, especially when it comes to a fast food restaurant. The people taking your order are always extremely polite, cheerful, and sweet. There's a manager, (I assume he's the manager because he's dressed in a fancy dress shirt) running around giving people their orders (yes, you don't need a number to go up and pick up your order), and asking if you need condiments, a refill on your drink (wait what? this is a fast food restaurant!?) and even clears your table. This guy is ON it. He greets everyone that comes in and leaves and does ALL that plus helps the workers behind the counter. THAT is a true manager and everyone there seems to work well together. Our orders here are constantly wrong. When you go through the drive through, I get someone else's order or our order is wrong. We have received a spicy sandwich on several occasions. Let me start out by saying that since this place is in a good location, it is super busy. Don't be deterred by the line though, they get through it rather quickly. There are about 6 cashiers working their finger magic getting your order correctly and they do it with ease. There aren't very many places to sit so you are going to have to take it to go if there isn't anywhere to sit. This location also has a small kid play area so that's a good thing to keep the little ones preoccupied for a little while. We ordered a spicy southwest salad, a kid's nugget meal that came with nuggets, fruit and apple juice, chick-fil-a chicken sandwich, chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich, chick-n-strips and chick-fil-a nuggets. We also had to add the chick-fil-a sauce as well as barbecue sauce. I love how large each chicken portion is and how juicy it is. The legend grew and grew, and I swore if I ever saw one of these places- I was going to stop and try it for myself. However, I am mad at myself for liking it so much. This town is filled with average chain restaurants. I need that mom and pop /" hole in the wall" place that I can take out of town visitors to. As a result, I find myself going to Chick Fil-A hoping to find something wrong. They can't be this perfect -can they? When you pull up to their drive-thru, the first thing you notice is that there are two lanes where you can place your order. Every single time I hope that they will mix up my order with the other guy next to me so I can downgrade their rating. No such luck.... I am always greeted by a friendly voice , and my food is delivered to me fast, fresh, and exactly the way I ordered it. Damn you-- Chick-Fil-A. I recently discovered their spicy chicken sandwich with no pickles of course. Now I am torn... Do I get their original chicken sandwich or the spicy chicken sandwich? If I am feeling squirrely, I may even opt for their nuggets with Polynesian dipping sauce. Everything is good -- and I hate them for it. My mother always taught me to give credit where credit is due. I mentioned it even before talking about the chicken just to plant the suggestion in your mind. Upgrade your drink in your meal to get a Frosted Lemonade. It is the creamiest combo of lemonade and milkshake that you will ever experience. And don't get one to share; get one for yourself, because you'll want to drink it all. I waver between the classic chicken sandwich and the chicken nuggets, depending on how hungry I am. The classic sandwich has moist, thick chicken on a soft bun and two perfectly crunchy pickles. The nuggets are tiny, and I mean tiny, like smaller than McDonald's nuggets, so don't get them if you're starving. They come in 8 or 12 piece servings, but each little morsel is juicy and not too crispy. I think the inherent neutral taste of most of their menu items really lends itself to whichever dipping sauce you want to customize your meal with. I love the Chick-fil-A sauce (who doesn't?) and their BBQ and Ranch are also delicious. The only downside to Chick-fil-A dining is the slightly higher prices than your average fast food restaurant. But every once in a while, I don't mind forking over a little extra dough for the food I get here! Once you've come here, you'll probably be a customer for life. Probably the best chicken sandwich in the fast food industry today. Why? Real chicken, perfect amount of coating and spices. The ice tea unsweetened is amazing. I also tried their breakfast burrito and liked it, usually i don't like breakfast burrito but i wanted to try it anyway. I also tried their granola yoghurt breakfast, very small portion but very yummy. Service is polite, fast and good. The things I didn't like the waffle fries. They look cute, treated OK, but would have preferred that they were less oily. They such up too much oil while being fried. I prefer thick chip fries, wedges or french fries, easier to eat and pick up ketchup. The bun on the bread is very soft and fluffy, some night like this, while others might not. I'm in-between, why? If you only go for the delicious flaky biscuits it's worth the trip, but everything on the menu is tasty. I like the breakfast sandwich . "Chicken for breakfast" you say ? with egg and cheese, it makes for a unique and delectable meal. But be aware the breakfast menu stops at 10:30 AM, NO EXCEPTIONS ! Another big plus for this place is the customer service. It's obvious that this is a very important part of their training, and I for one appreciate this, in today's poor service environment. Drive-thru was backed up all the way to East Bidwell and only took 13 minutes! It's crazy how quickly they can process so many cars. There is plenty of parking lot around the place. If it's by any chance taken, you can park your vehicle down by the home depot. There is a gal that brings the food to my car named Debbie that smiles so big that her whole face lights up. She smiles with her eyes and it seems that she is truly glad to see me once again. Pretty consistent. This place is a great place for family gatherings and lunches. I was here for lunch today and the place was absolutely packed. There was a minivan parked at almost every spot and the drive thru had their own lines of minivans as well. The drive thru moved pretty quickly, yes they do have two lanes. I had a coupon to use for free 8 piece grilled nuggets that I wanted to use. The grilled nuggets are definitely not the same as the regular nuggets but they were decent for a decent price (FREE). You have to ask for the sauces because they will not offer them to you unless you ask. Same goes for ketchup. You have to be specific about your sauces! I've loved Chick-fil-A ever since I was a high school student working at the mall and first got introduced to it. Since I first set foot in one more than 10 years ago, I have to say the quality of their food is still just as fresh and delicious. I've always ordered their number 1 -- a classic chicken sandwich with their signature sliced pickles, waffle fries, and a drink (I love their fresh lemonade!) Their chicken sandwich comes out piping hot and their chicken is oozing with moistness! You also get free refills, even on their fresh lemonade! Something I really like is their variety of sauces they offer. My favorite, until today, was their honey mustard sauce, which I would drench my sandwich and fries in. But, today I tried their Chick-fil-A sauce which is even more amazing! It's a must-try! Besides their food, what I love the most is their outstanding level of customer service. After you place your order, they ask your name, and you take a seat as you wait for your order. Once it's ready, an employee will bring it out for you to your table. While eating, depending on how busy they are, they'll also periodically walk around and ask you if you need anything else. I've been to this location, as well as to the one in the Arden area, and both locations extend the same stellar service. Chick-fil-A is definitely one of those places worth trying!
