Wow. I'm a huge chi-fil-a fan and this place really didn't feel right. I've been to many chic-fil-a's and this place isn't being run properly. I walked in and it was immediately apparent that the place hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. Floors, tables and chairs were grimy and there was little bits of trash everywhere. It felt like a Burger King to be honest. They also made time-wasting (albeit minor) mistakes on my order. Couple this with the fact that they often don't fill fries more than about half-way, I'd suggest you skip this place. Yo, Foothill Ranch Chick-fil-A location... Why are you like this?? Where do I start? 1) I've lived in Foothill Ranch for over 4 years now and have gone to this Chick-fil-A location a handful of times in the past 4 years. And I kid you not, 8 times out of 10, they mess up my order. My point is, they have CONSISTENTLY messed up my order for a long time now. It's not that they've just recently gotten bad or they started out bad then gotten good. No, they've ALWAYS been like this yet I keep coming back because I am a hopeful kind of person. 2) Related to them getting my order wrong, anytime I order from the app to pick up, 100% of my app pickup experience has ended with me getting the wrong order. When this happened for the third time, I actually called the store to let them know. The order I received had the wrong name on the sticker. This is after I went into the store to pick up, the person handing out the orders said, "Rebecca?" and I said, "nope, Katrina." Then he said, "oh yeah" then handed me the bag. I went home, opened the bag and had a totally different order, looked at the sticker on the bag and saw, yup, Rebecca. I don't even know if I need to dig into this to properly explain all the levels this mistake could have been prevented but I'll just move onto my next point. 3) When I called to complain (again, this was the THIRD time they messed up my app pickup order - I calmly let go of the first two times), The guy said the owner will call me back to fix the order. No call back. However, a free Chick-fil-A coupon ended up in my app. Which I tried to redeem but JOKES ON ME because they GAVE ME THE WRONG ORDER AGAIN. 4) The drive thru line is a death trap. Especially with kids. Oh god, let me save you the sanity and warn you to not go in here if you have kids in the car. Drive down the street to McDonalds. Go home. Cook something from scratch. Any of these options will be faster than ordering through the drive thru. I don't care how they break up the lines in the car drive thru or how fancy they get with the iPads. It's still long as hell and will take them a minimum of 30 minutes to hand you your cold meal at the window. 5) The cold meal I want to talk about. I'm confused as to why I had to wait 30 minutes in the drive thru line for COLD food??? Does this mean it was ready WAY earlier than the 30 minutes I was trapped in the line? I don't understand. If the food is ready, why does the line take forever? Do they make the food out of order? I don't get it. This is really confusing. 6) The staff. This location has some great staff, some okay. But that's not what I meant. What I mean is, if you're the store manager and you know the lunch rush has a backlog of 30 minute orders, do something. Be better. Put more people on the lunch shift. If that's not working out, put BETTER, FASTER people on the lunch shift. I can spout of a bunch of solutions for you (by the way, I used to work at a Chick-fil-A way back when I was in college so I KNOW it's possible to achieve this kind of efficiency. I witnessed it first hand). Just...do better. My Chick-fil-A visits have been dwindling and it may become a permanent solution that I stop coming to this location. There's no reason for me to be this frustrated and annoyed and this location has consistently proven that they cannot handle an influx of customers all coming at once. read more

This is a busy but great location with excellent service, clean restrooms, and food cooked exactly to the menu specs! I like that they ave 2-3 staff wandering the lobby checking in on guests and refilling drinks. I do not like that this chain forces you to go wait in line to refill your beverage. It's a self serve world in the fast food industry and this is so 1970's! It's time to modernize and put in some Coke Freestyle machines! read more

Every time I come to eat here there is an older Gentleman I'm guessing who is the manger. He walks round the restaurant with an attitude cleaning up the tables. It's obvious he doesn't like his job. It so uncomfortable we stoped coming here but we came in today and guess what he's here. an older lady split her milk shake in the corner of the play area and he's was sooooo bothered by it. Ok so I'm new to Chick-fil-A, having never visited one, so today I wanted to check it out. Here's what I found: 1. Food: it's fast food so don't expect much, but with plenty of mayo and ketchup, it's not half bad for a fast food joint. I did find the fries were under salted tho... 2. Service: the chain is known for good service, and while it's not five star service, it's certainly better than many of their competitors. 3. Cleanliness: this restaurant was very clean, well taken care of, and most of the tables had fresh flowers on them which I think is classy. 4. Atmosphere: the decorations and all definitely establish it as more community oriented as opposed to a corporate feel. 5. Ketchup: ok I know this one is weird, but the ketchup packets, which were not easy to open and made me feel like an idiot, made for an interesting adventure. I tried to open one and it exploded in my hand, and sent ketchup flying to the table next to me - thankfully missing the patrons. Overall I'd go again, but probably just for a quick drive thru meal while in a hurry. I'm not a fast food person, but for those who are, I think you'd enjoy it. read more

I arrived at Foothill Ranch location drive-thru about 7:40pm 5/28. and ordered a kids meal with chicken nuggets, fries and chocolate milkshake. also a large size chicken noodle soup. I drove up to pick-up window and the employee gave me chocolate milk and said she wasn't able to change to chocolate milkshake. ok fine, I didnt want to hold up the drive-thru line and left. I got home and the kids meal fries is missing! The breading on the nuggets was so thin you can see white surfaces on them, resulted in soggy texture. Then the chicken noodle soup was so spicy (and I can eat very spicy!) I couldn't let my 3-year-old have any of it! I honestly dont mind the restaurant use left over chicken to make the soup but NOT with spicy chicken! I dont know how any kids will be able to eat ? This got to be one of the worst Chick-fil-a experiences I've had in passed decade that I've been buying Chick-fil-a! On the same night I filed a complaint on Chick-fil-a app then an automated email said someone from the leadership from that particular location will reach out to me in 2-3business day.... On the 7th day I called the CARE Hotline to "remind" them. And today is the 8th business day and yup still nothing! So disappointed tonight! I go here often and have NEVER had anything like this happen??? Went to this location cause I was really hungry. I ordered a Grilled Chicken Sandwich (Protein Style) and waffle fries. First they refused to give me change? Said it was locked! Then, asked us to drive around to pick up our order and wait another 15 minutes after waiting 15 minutes at the drive-thru. Then, left the waffle fries out! So I do not have my walker and then have to limp into the store for the missing fries after paying for them! AVOID Chick Fil A Foothill Ranch Chick-Fil-A represents great food and service. Any Chick-Fil-A you visit, you get consistency, except for the Foothill Ranch Chick Fil A. One of the worse establishments ever. Evening of Monday, May 28, 2021, I ordered the food on my app which they can deliver to my car. The staff are just hanging outside waiting for customers to line up at their drive thru. One of the staff brought my order to my car. Once home, I've noticed that I had a missing sandwich for my child and wrong size of fries. I called the restaurant to speak with the manager but my call never reached the manager. I called 2 additional times and both calls went straight to VM. My family and I started eating the remaining sandwiches, and, the chicken filets were over-cooked. After submitting my complaint to Corporate, Customer Cares Dept shared that the restaurant ownership will contact me by email or phone to resolve my issue over the next 3 business days. Sadly, I haven't received any communications to this day. I just filed another complaint to the Corporate office for the lack of communications and requested that the regional manager to address my concerns. For a restaurant that doesn't seem busy at dinner time, the Foothill Ranch Chick Fil A failed completely. I recommend to anyone reading my post to visit the Laguna Hills or Irvine Chick Fil A restaurants for high quality food and service. Don't waste your time here. Update (06/14/2021) - Been calling the corporate office to their Customer Cares Department. Unfortunately, zero resolution. Sadly - this is my last trip to the Chick Fil A for a long time. From this local franchise and the Dont Care Customer Cares Department, Chick Fil A needs to be on notice on handling customers. Dont expect to get any help from the local franchise or Corporate. I love CFA but this location needs help. 25min for the drive through last night. We ordered 2 spicy chicken with TWO cheeses on them as usually and pay extra. Every time we go here, we have to check before we drive off to make sure they added the cheese. Well again they did not. We asked for 1 texas Pete and 1 Buffalo sauce and were told NO only 1 sauce per sandwich. We have always got both. Texas Pete is NOT a specialty sauce like the Buffalo, ranch or CFA sauce. But the problem last night it was all teenagers there. No adult we could see. 1 drive through line open at 5p while 4 teenage workers stood around and talked. 25min to drive thru is ridiculous. This location has a lot of problems. They are always understaffed. They mix up orders regularly, and They randomly change their hours. They have an order ahead app that is absolutely useless. You will still need to sit on the drive thru line to get your order started. It's a useless system and what makes it worse is the manager on shift won't assist in any way. The system is broken and lacking leadership. They need to shut the app down until outside/curbside pick up is available again. If you have 40 minutes to spare to pick up fast food, this is your spot. I'm very curious to see if Owner Erik responds to this - as he is a major part of the issue. For starters, my family and I enjoy Chick-Fil-A, though we will never walk in this establishment again. This Monday, we ordered 4 Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches and 5 large fries. Nothing with any changes, nice and simple. Things happen, and it did here, as we were given 2 full bags and went on our way. When we got home, there were 5 large fries, but no chicken sandwiches. We were too far away to return to the location, and obviously, no main item ruined the meal. Again, this happens, we get it, everyone is human. So, I called the establishment, spoke with Tyler, who assured me I could return at my soonest convenience (he wanted to know when that might be and I advised this Thursday), and that not only would he refund the meal (as I requested) but he would comp the equivalent meal. I returned tonight to order 5 chicken sanwiches and 5 large fries. I did mention Tyler said the meal would be taken care of and I did not ask for a refund of Monday's messed up meal (as was promised to me by Tyler). I figured this would all be fine and we would go on about our day. This is where things just became unacceptable, to me or anyone who considers going to this specific location. The drive thru order taker made me feel like a criminal, asking for my full name, who I spoke with and saying they would look into this at the window...rather than apologizing and doing the usual "my/our pleasure" you get at 99.9% of Chick-Fil-A's. When I got to the window, the owner Erik Baker, seemed to double down on the rude. Instead of apologizing, he blamed Tyler for not documenting his mistake properly in the system to provide me the refund and/or new order. (Not my worry, just make me whole and let's move on). He provided 5 Chicken Sandwiches (at first he was giving 4 and I mentioned I ordered 5 and would pay for the 5th). When the order was handed over, we looked, and there were no 5 large fries. I asked where they were and Erik advised he would not be comping those. At this point, I handed back the 5 Chicken sandwiches, advised I was beyond stunned and wanted my refund from Monday. He flat out refused. So, to recap, at this point I was now asking for a full refund ($29.53) from an order they messed up on 3 days earlier and that I was promised on when I called in. The owner flat out refused and decided to treat me as if I was a criminal rather than a valued customer. He could have decided to provide the 5 large fries I originally ordered tonight and (although I would never have returned to this location) this would have been a closed subject. Instead, he decided I was either lying or not worth the $11.45 cost of the 5 large fries. I advised I would be following up with corporate Chick-Fil-A and I have. I advised I would be posting this on Social Media, and as you can see, I have. I have protested the original $29.53 to my bank, and Erik, you will soon see, I will get my money back. All over an order that your restaurant could not get right and then could not handle in making good on, and then, given a third chance, could still not make right. As a side note, and unrelated to this particular issue, the restaurant has an odd odor, smelling of sewage and vomit. The employees are aware of this and apologize, then blame the city. And, as a proactive measure, I will disclose to the masses, I did say the service was sh**, my one and only curse during this conversation, as you and your staff made me feel horrible, the opposite of any dining experience anyone would want. My review? Avoid this Chick-Fil-A and Erik Baker's establishment at all costs. UPDATE: Three weeks later and no response from Erik here on Twitter - yet he has responded to others - just stating facts - that's not cool. Three weeks later - I am still protesting with my bank. Chick-Fil-A - based off Erik's refusal to refund my money - has been unable to refund it (yet). Erik has refused to reply to Chick-Fil-A's corporate outreach to resolve this with me. If you choose to dine at this establishment - if they mess up your order (look through the history here - it happens - not always obviously - but it does happen) you may be lucky enough to get a cut and paste apology from Erik - or you can be treated like I have been and have to really wonder what Erik's motivation is. I will update this review when there is a conclusion. LAST ADD: Refunded in full (after forcing the issue from my bank). Erik - you STILL have not replied to this post. You are fast to throw your employees under the bus on Yelp when they err - yet you have said nothing to me - and certainly never apologized. We've all had to work for people like you - but we certainly don't have to dine with people like you. read more

Absolutely RIDICULOUS the speed of service at this location was the other day. They first off had an "in training" cashier as the ONLY one taking orders and he had no idea what he was doing. He may have been a little challenged which I understand, but don't leave him all alone up there. He asked if we wanted dine in or take out FOUR TIMES! They finally opened another register and she was speedy. BUT THE FOOD TOOK FOREVERRRRR! 20 minutes from time of order. And it wasn't even busy. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Was quite disappointed with my experience at this Chick-fil-a. I have always had great service and food at other locations however this one was quite unpleasant. I went through the drive thru and explained to them that I am Celiac and can't have gluten. I ordered a gluten free sandwich and they had given me breaded chicken instead of grilled. I went back to get what I had ordered and they apologized and said they would remake it. The staff is very nice but don't know what they are doing. This is my closest store to my house so I go pretty often. They staff 9/10 times will mess up your order. I'm diabetic and this morning bought a chicken scramble breakfast bowl, asked for no hash browns in the bowl and extra egg because I count my carbs. This will be maybe the tenth time they put hash browns in my bowl, added extra chicken and looks like half an egg on top to make it seem like they added the egg hiding the hash browns and chicken underneath. The staff is a bunch of high schoolers who need direction from an adult manager. Probably won't be coming back any time soon, just be disappointed everytime I spend my money here. read more
