How about them waffle fries? The table service is basic at this location, appearing to involve just employees bringing the food to your table. You're still responsible for busing your own trash. Still better service than most fast food joints. There seems to be only a single staff member doing cleaning here. The lady who was helping me at the register i think was new so she didnt really know how to do any adjustments. My classmate saw a coupon online for a free beverage for students and when we asked for it, they charged us for one and then went to the back and took about 2 mins to come back, so we thought she was talking to an manager about it. Always a big fan of Chick-fil-A. This review is about my recent drive thru experience at this location. Not sure whether it was usual or unusual, there was a very long queue on the Saturday evening. I had to wait for 10-15 mins in line to reach near the drive tru entrance. There were 2 employees outside taking orders from the cars. Wearing mask, keeping safe distance, courteous and calm. They were doing their job professionally, even made sure there was no contact at all needed for the payment as well. Once you move up the line, there were 2 employees serving the ordered food to the car. The food was placed in a tray, tray was brought to the car, and customers can pick them without any contact with the employees. I don't think any fast food chain (at least here in Fremont) is doing this. Was impressed and happy about their service. Nothing to say about the burger. I was on my way home from a day trip into SF and couldn't figure out what to eat. It then hit me. Chick-fil-A! I was thwarted last Sunday as I didn't know they're always closed on Sunday. Anyways, this Chick-fil-A was on my way home so I went to it. It's recently built right next to Wendy's off of Auto Mall Parkway. There's plenty of parking as it's no where near Pacific Commons so they win there. I walked in and it was pretty pristine in there. I looked at their menu and it looks like they had different options a la many other fast food restaurants. They have chicken in between buns, fried and grilled. They also have sandwich, wrap, and salads and nuggets. There were desserts as well. I opted to get the chicken nuggets both crispy and grilled. Both 8 pieces each with honey mustard and buttermilk ranch dipping sauce. They had many others to choose from. I also got a icedream which is basically a vanilla soft serve and that was slighty icy, not too creamy, but not bad. The crisp nuggets came in a box, small though. It's no chicken Mcnuggets, but it was more flavorful and real chicken meat. The grilled pieces were very moist and flavorful, but again tiny pieces. I was still stuffed though! I would say Chick-fil-A feels like a more quailty McDonalds and feels a tad bit healthier than Kentucky Fried Chicken. Or at least I feel less guilty! Even with the questionable politics surrounding Chik-fil-A, I was always a fan of their tasty chicken and loved to buy a big pack of nuggets and fries to gorge myself while my daughter played in their playground, prior to Covid. Now, though, it just doesn't taste good at all. The line of cars is always stretching all the way around the building to the entrance of the parking lot, though it moves quickly enough. My problem is that the nuggets have somehow steadily gotten saltier every time I've bought them. At this point it's almost unbearable. I can't eat more than about a half dozen before the saltiness just overwhelms me, even with the sweet Polynesian sauce balancing it. We noticed last time that they were selling Chicken Parmesan meal kits to serve two. My husband and I thought it was a great concept, and got one to try it out. Upon getting home, we put the box in the fridge and ate our chicken nuggets and the extra sandwich they seem to have accidentally put in our bag. The following day, we took the meal kit box out of the fridge, and... it had no chicken in it. Did they forget to give us our chicken? $16.99 for some pre-cooked spaghetti, a handful of vegetables, and two packets of sauce is pretty expensive. We think they might have accidentally given us a sandwich instead of the two chicken patties that were supposed to go with the box. Either way, our meal was ruined and we had to buy and prepare our own separate chicken patties to go with it. Didn't taste that great at that point. It obviously lacks the saltiness that would come from a pork sausage biscuit so it bland and boring. Chicken nuggets: these little nuggets are great. It's ten times better than the nuggets served by the competition. Deluxe Spicy Chicken Sandwich: this sandwich has great flavor. Note I am Muslim and I cannot consume pork.(forbidden in the religion) I ordered a cobb salad without reading the ingredients because I didn't think there would be bacon in a salad, but to my surprise I was eating halfway when I got a bite if something smoky. I looked at it and I knew it was bacon, all that is on my part with my self carelessness. I go to the cashier and I talk to a employee about how I was not aware of the bacon and how I am Muslim and I cannot eat pork. Another employee saw when I realized I cannot eat pork when he over heard my friend and I's conversation and told me to give him the receipt. I handed it over and he talked to the manager I think and he said that he understands and he could remake it. I waited for a bit and I could here "no bacon" so I was relieved. I got my new salad and went home because I was already there for 20 mins eating when this all happened and I decided it was getting late. I get home to eat my salad just to find more bacon. After going through all of that I still had bacon and I had to throw out the food again. As a Muslim I think this is unacceptable because I brought it to their attention that I cannot eat pork. This is the first time my BF and I had ever been to Chick-fil-A and boy it is was worth they wait! Everybody has been telling us that we need to try this place out, but we were never in the area to do so. We finally got the chance to on Wednesday since we were in the area. Inside was very nice and clean, the cashier was super sweet and told us that once we were ready to let her know. We looked at the menu for a few mins and then went up to place our order. My BF got the Original Deluxe and I got the Spicy Deluxe and we shared some nuggets. I didn't know how some of their sauce tasted like, so she offered to give us one of each to try. Food came out and we took our first taste of Chick-fil-A. Oh my goodness! Their nuggets was so moist and juicy and honestly their sauces was bomb! We tried our burgers next and I have to say, you don't need any condiments on there because the chicken itself is super flavorful and juicy! From time to time, when it comes to looking for a fast food restaurant, Chick-fil-A comes to mind. I have been here quite a few times, and I do plan on returning in the future. If I were to describe the customer here, I would say it is way more than satisfactory. All the employees that I've come across were extremely friendly. Without a doubt, I can definitely see that is always THEIR PLEASURE to deliver the best customer service possible to patrons. (No pun intended on the CAPS, but you'll know what I mean if you visit this place.) Of all my visits here, I can't find anything wrong when it comes to customer service. The waiting time is usually reasonable. From what I've observed, the food usually arrives within 3-7 minutes, although it can vary depending on the number of customers at a given time. If a specific order (such as coffee) has to take longer than usual, the staff will let you know in advance as well as advise you on how long it will take. Generally, the food quality is good. I am a big fan of their chicken! However, on my most recent visit (when I ordered Chick-Fil-A Chicken Deluxe Sandwich, #1) , I found it to be a little bit cold. In addition, I thought that the sandwich could have been arranged a little better (picture below). While that was enough to grab my attention, this Chick-Fil-A has had a good track record in my book when it comes to food quality. Furthermore, there were also a lot of customers on that day, so I understand if whoever prepared that sandwich was in a rush. Nevertheless, that is still one area that Chick-Fil-A could slightly improve on (food quality - make it hotter and more organized). Overall, of all my experiences at this restaurant, I can't think of one worth complaining about. They were all satisfactory if not great. I would be more than happy to return in the near future. So we were confused cause we had to drive through the drive thru still so I tried to ask for clarification at the window if they were taking orders from the window. The service here was ass ! Me and my fiancé came after lunch time so there was no line at the drive thru. First the lady that attended us was so rude her attitude was not so friendly. My fiancé asked for 2 spicy chicken sandwiches with cheese & NO pickles. They fixed his order & when he came back we found both sandwiches with no pickles & no cheese ! Either staff needs to communicate or something cause it was a waste of time & money ! Service at this Chick-fil-a is pretty good. Once in awhile, they do mess up my order but when I contact Chick-fil-a they always make it up to me by providing a free entree on my next visit. read more
