This is the one of the best CFA's in the Bay. I consistently have great food and Dan (the Owner/Operator) is always there and providing great service when I come in. First Review of 2024! The food and service is great, but I want to talk about the inside of this restaurant. People tend to leave especially on the tables, and the staff didn't bother cleaning the lobby. Therefore, it's hard to find a good table to sit. I did like however the waffle fries and chicken sandwiches they serve along with their own Chick-fil-A sauce. Just like usual, people prefer to order at a drive-thru since there are many cars there. In the morning I was ordering, not quite sure what I wanted. The employee, Rosa, asked me if I wanted my sandwich to be a meal. I said no because I only wanted to have a sandwich. But then I decided that I was going to get the meal, only instead of ordering it as a meal, I ordered the extra things that were needed to complete the meal. Well, she and her other companion were making fun of how I ordered my order, apparently making me feel stupid for not having ordered the meal from the beginning, and making fun of each other without caring that I was listening. This is hands down the worst Chick-fil-A location I've ever been to. I've only visited this location three times, and two out of those three times, they forgot an item in my order. That's a pretty bad track record. On my most recent visit, I ordered an 8-piece nugget meal, a spicy Chick-fil-A sandwich meal, a large fry, and a side kale salad. When my order was ready, the employee handed me two bags and told me everything was inside. Once I got to my car, I checked the smaller bag and saw only a medium fry--no kale salad. So, I went back inside and told the young employee. His first response was, "It's in the small bag." I let him know it wasn't--just fries were in there. He then went over to another employee, who mumbled something under his breath, and then the manager came out and asked, "What?" The employee told him I said the salad was missing. The manager claimed the salad had been bagged. I told them I'd go get the bags and show them there was no salad--I wasn't about to waste my time coming back in if it was already there. Eventually, they handed me the salad, but with an attitude. Really? Whether you think you bagged it or not, don't act annoyed with the customer. Maybe if the team wasn't standing around talking and actually paid attention to the orders, things wouldn't get forgotten. read more

Talked with the assistant manager for operations to I had ordered a deluxe sandwich, large waffle fries and a cookies and cream milkshake, along with other items. The cashier at the front did not put that in as a meal, and unfortunately I did not ask for it at the time. Normally, the cashier automatically enters it in for me but I didn't notice it. As I finished eating my sandwich and fries, I reviewed my receipt and I noticed that the meal was not in there. I walk to the front and I speak with the assistant manager of operations and I explained how I should have gotten a price adjustment. She proceeds to use her phone and calculate. She then says, yes you're right, it would have been $1. She then asks, do you still have your food? I say, no I just ate my sandwich, but I still have my milkshake. She says, 'because you ate your food, we can't refund you. If you still had your food, you could return it, but since you ate it, then we can't refund you the money,' I look at her... and say, 'so there's no way you can help me?' She says, 'we can't because you ate your food. Next time when you order, you should ask for the meal.' So this assistant manager of operations knows that she's overcharging me but doesn't have the decency to amend the receipt because I had just finished eating the burger 30 seconds prior to walking up. I think that is completely silly and ridiculous. Lack of integrity here. read more

I love Chick-Fil-A at this location! The staff here is always nice and welcoming. From my few times of being here, my orders have been accurate. I've gotten almost everything on the menu here minus the milkshakes and each item has been freshly made, especially the salads, which is a good indication of the quality of food here since salads go bad fairly quickly in general. The drive-thru line can get very long during peak hours, but there's always the option to pick up inside the restaurant. My recommendation is that you let the staff know your name as soon as you get inside the restaurant, so that they can get a head start on your order. Lastly, the staff here work really hard to keep this place clean! Each time that I've been here, it's been very very clean including the self-serve ketchup/utensils station. read more

I've never been to a Chick-Fil-A location, but finally decided to try it after hearing good things about this chain. Every time I pass by this area, there's always a long line so I thought this might be a good location. We ordered the Original Chicken Sandwich Combo and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combo. Yes, both chicken sandwiches were good and the chicken was very juicy, BUT I wish the chicken breading was crispier (I know other chicken sandwiches I've tried are crispier). The combo came with waffle fries, but those waffle fries were only warm and not hot. The waffle fries also could've been crispier too (it was very flimsy). I got the Chick-Fil-A sauce and my friend got the Sweet & Spicy Sriracha sauce. I wasn't that huge of a fan of the Sweet & Spicy Sriracha sauce with the sandwiches since the sandwiches already had a slight sweet flavor to it, but I loved the Chick-Fil-A sauce since that helped with the sweetness of the sandwich! The Chick-Fil-A sauce had a bbq and a honey mustard flavor to it. I'd recommend this place if you get the Chick-Fil-A sauce! The sauce helped make my meal more enjoyable even though the burger alone wasn't that special. I've never had food from Chick-fil-A until last weekend, when my auto salesman got a snack for me when he got his lunch. He suggested the chicken strips & it's really good, moist & tender because they marinate the chicken in a brine overnight which also adds flavor throughout the meat. It was so good that it didn't need any dipping sauce but I ate it with their signature sauce (Chick-fil-A sauce). I liked so much that when I went back to Fremont to pick up my new car, I visited the drive through & got the chicken strips ago. Although the line was long, it moved quickly as orders were taken by employees & payment was made while you were in queue. Double kudo's to their customer service! Since drive-thru take-out is the only option, they made sure there was a line attendant directing traffic and splitting them into 2 lanes. Those cars that attempted to take a short cut failed because they shoo'd them to the back of the line (woo-hoo)! There were servers standing in line with menus on hand and took our orders. Even when we had to move our cars forward, they followed us until the order was complete. I felt bad for the guy, he had to walk back and forth several times for my car. This being my first time eating their chicken... the box was mighty small. Inside contained the smallest bite size nuggets I've ever seen in my life! It was the size of my thumb and even smaller... and I'm only talkin' about the round part of my thumb! Worlds smallest nuggets in the world! Drive Thru only available due to the Coronavirus outbreak and let me start off by saying how selfish, inconsiderate, and unfriendly other customers can be. My mother and I were headed back to San Jose and made a quick detour to grab some food. The parking lot seemed busy and the drive thru was just beginning to get crowded with 3 cars awaiting. Not thinking it was a big deal, we signaled to get into the drive thru because we came in at an incorrect angle- OUR MISTAKE. We awaited for the line to move up and anticipated us being able to maneuver into the drive thru lane since there was more than enough space provided by the car to our right. As we began to turn left into the drive thru lane, the car sped up and blocked us from entering. Not sure if they randomly had a change of heart or was just playing games... Fast forward- Our attempt to physically go into the establishment was greeted by locked doors and an employee telling me only drive thru was available. We were forced to reverse and head to the end of the drive thru, now 7-8 cars deep. 4 stars for the food but minus one because the parking lot is small and the layout for drive thru can be confusing for customers who aren't familiar with this Chick-fil-A. I'd personally avoid coming back to this location if possible, this first experience here was not the business. read more

I was really shocked because they have the best service. Other than that they are always nice, polite and quick. This is my go to place for quick good food. Usually this location is great but not today. Customer service and food quality was horrible! I asked for extra pickles and got zero pickles. My fries were cold.
