Pizza places close to me are generally acceptable, but over the years prices go up and quality down. Most places either offer great pizza at a high price point or cheaper prices with matching quality. For context, my usual pizza place charges just under $24 for a large two topping. Toppings are $3 each, a plain for $17. That's $6 right off the top for toppings. Then there's fees if you don't pay cash and/or order online through their own website; let alone DoorDash, UberEats, etc. $24 (plus tax and fees) for a two topping is a little pricey so I decided to try C&M in 2026 even though they are a little out of my way. I called in my order, a large two topping. Price? $21.80. Very reasonable. There's plenty of parking behind the building which is nice. The interior is spacious, if dated, but it has a charming late 80s-early 90s vibe. Everyone I encountered from calling in to pickup at the counter was super nice. The pizza was a standard large in a brown cardboard box. Under the pizza was a paper disc to absorb any grease and a white pizza saver to keep the box from touching the pizza. Most places have neither or one or the other. The pie was cut in squares which surprised me. I hadn't had pizza cut like that in ages. The grease was minimal for my pepperoni and onion pizza. The outer crust was not too thick or thin, but very crunchy which I like. Toppings and cheese were generous yet not overloaded. Same with the sauce that had a nice balance of sweet and savory. I don't order pizza often, but this pizza hit the mark in price and taste. I'll have to make it a point to try other offerings at C&M.
