I have been having my meals with this store since their beginning. But sadly, theirs food quality at the Woodbury store is increasingly getting worse even though I remained them many times. Do they care? The bagels are always overheated and turned into a charcoal like surface. Then the chicken are also contaminated with those unpleasant black stuffs on it!! I'm one of those fans of Chick-fil-A. I mean I know it's not like gourmet, but for fast food I just prefer it to most other establishments. I usually get their nuggets or their spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy sandwich is not like super spicy or anything, just spicy enough to give it flavor and a little kick. The nuggets are always tasty and moist. The French Fry things (whatever you call them) I used to really dislike, they (for me) were always undercooked and flavorless. Now I just order them well done and they come out nice and crispy like I love! Big Chick-fil-A fan. This location in Irvine is no exception. The service is excellent. Clean facility to include kitchen and bathroom. The food is outstanding; quality, preparation, presentation, all excellent. Prices very reasonable. I know it is fast food, but it sits on the top of the heap as far as quality and customer service. So, I should not have, but I splurged and had a chocolate milkshake; crazy good. I took a colleague who had never been before and he was very impressed as he expected just another SoCal fast food chain. The manager/owner was on site, was very visible, and was providing good leadership to her employees. As a result the place was packed, was running smoothly, and was making money; looked like it was making a lot of money. I rarely go to Chick-fil-A, and I went a couple times in February due to the free hot/iced coffee they were giving out. Their iced coffee is delicious, as you could add hazelnut or vanilla to it. I'm not too fond of the hot coffee though, as it was really bitter when I had it. Maybe it was the end of a batch or something, but it was too bitter for my taste. And I usually just take my coffee black with no sugar. The few times I've had some food from here was just their original chicken sandwich. It's great, but what I don't like is that it comes with 1 or 2 pieces of pickle. C'mon, I think my sandwich could use a bit more pickle than that! Maybe I'll just bring my own jar of pickles with me next time. Service here is great, as all of the team members are friendly and helpful. When I went to get the coffee, most of the time I'd have to wait for the coffee to brew. Once they had my order ready, they walked it out to where I was sitting to deliver it to me. Today's experience was a complete 180 from the previous visit. Felt like a bunch of newbies working. A young guy with glasses in red polo with seemed reluctant to change our order from drive through to pick up in store. After it was changed, he just left us hanging with no explanation of what comes after - Food be brought to us? Name or number called? Wait in car, in the line, by a table? Nothing! When asked how, the kid impatiently responded, "I already changed your order!". I then proceeded on asking a young lady with a Vietnamese accent and was finally explained that our food will be brought to us, though the service still was not anywhere as courteous as the previous visit. I tried the spicy chicken sandwich the other week and I enjoyed it with the lettuce, tomato, and a mixture of their Chick-Fil-A and Polynesian sauces. I know charging extra for lettuce and tomato is lame but it was only about a quarter more and I need my veggies, so it came out to around $3.60. Not cheap, but not terribly expensive either. The large piece of chicken was adequately seasoned, but I didn't taste any of the spices until I started eating the edges of the chicken. Nothing like feeling the burning sensation on your tongue after devouring the last bite of the sandwich. So much for balancing out the flavors. I also tried out their nuggets for the first time. Not a fan. Although tasty when dipped in a myriad of sauces, I thought that they were tiny and not really worth the money. I know it's closer to "real" chicken, but call me weird... I'd rather have McD's 6 piece "faux" chicken nuggets on Tuesdays for $1.29. I know some people don't really get this place, how it's closed on Sundays, but I don't mind a good chicken sandwich from this place every now and then. Every time I've gone, the service has been friendly. I also like their chicken breakfast burritos for around $2. It's just too bad it's on the opposite way of my work. Freebie alert -- If you go there and buy something today, save your receipt and bring it in anytime in June, and you'll get the exact same order for free. I didn't see anything on a limit. I wish there was a Chick-fil-A in the Bay Area. Why hasn't anyone started a franchise for up North? Both times when I was here this weekend, I had the spicy chicken combo (#4). I don't know what it is about this place, but the chicken breast is bigger and tastes juicier than your typical McDonald's chicken sandwich or whatever. Maybe it's because of it's morals and it's Christian ran establishment that it tasted better to me, I don't know. Good food but terrible drive through. They almost always mess up by shorting an order of fries or wrong sandwich. If I don't catch it then I have to drive all the way back and they usually don't offer anything for my trouble unless I ask, which is embarrassing for the manager not to offer. Tonight they said they would bring the missing fries out to my car, but after waiting 5 minutes I had to go back to the window and remind them again. First off the property is loaded with overgrown trees and you can't see the buildings. The parking lot is crazy busy which made looking for the restaurant difficult through all the trees. Already angry at this point I get in line to pick up my order that I placed online. I get my order and they decided to subsidize my fries for Mac&Cheese that was ordered as a side. The employees were dumbfounded and could not think outside the box at the drive thru window on making the order right. I offered to pay for the fries. They couldn't accommodate. I was definitely disturbed by this and the so called Christian employee decided to be condescending tone with "Have A Nice Daaaay" when I expressed my displeasure. I'm freaked out a little by the fact that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays, but I guess that's that company's business, and I shouldn't let it bother me. This location is in the new Woodbury shopping center. We were shopping at Home Depot one Saturday afternoon, and this Chick-fil-A happens to be located in the same center, and I just happened to have a coupon for a free chicken sandwich in my purse that came in the mail that week. BF and I went through the drive thru and decided to get one combo and share the fries and Coke and then get the extra free sandwich. For some reason they charge $.30 extra to get lettuce and a slice of tomato. Not like it's a lot of money, but we probably should have saved the $.30 because the tomato wasn't ripe and I ended up taking it off my sandwich, and the lettuce didn't add very much excitement. I like the waffle fries. Something a little different, and not at all greasy. We probably should have got some sauce for the sandwiches, but when they guy said "Sauce?", BF and I were too flustered to say anything, especially since he didn't name any choices, so I just said no thank you. We didn't know the sandwiches came dry. Overall decent for a fast food restaurant, but it's more pricey, and I'd rather go to El Pollo Loco, which happens to be in the same center. read more

Chick-fil-A is the poultry-lovers version of In-N-Out. The service is always awesome and the food is good - except the few times they screwed up our order. I am still weirded out by having pickles in my chicken sandwich, but the crisscross fries make up for that. The best part of eating at this location is sitting by the window, devouring your sandwich, fries and large Coke and staring at the LA Fitness across the parking lot. I know there's tons of controversy surround Chick-Fil-A, but all that aside, they know how to produce quality food in a short amount of time. Besides, I want a chicken sandwich and not their views on the world. Everything I've ever had, from the classic chicken sandwich to the chicken biscuit to the grilled chicken sandwich to the chicken noodle soup is amazing. In fact, I'd eat this chicken noodle soup over Campbell's any day. The chicken actually looks and tastes like chicken. In addition, this location is always clean and the staff is always friendly. I went once after having dental work and the girl at the drive thru window was so sincere when she asked me about my day. It could have been all the numbing gel I was hopped up on, but still, she seemed pretty sweet about the fact that she probably could barely understand what I was saying. I went for the first time this past Saturday and for not knowing anything about the establishment, I was pleasantly surprised. :D First thing that caught my eye? I have to do it in terms of category or ceratin things will just fall short.. same with rating attractiveness of females.. if you are a celebrity you are on a different scale so when I say ew she is fugly.. I really mean she is still above average but not compared to her celebrity peers. anyyyyway, yes Chick Fil-a! you are the best of the best in terms of fast food. no one compares in terms of food and SAUCES! your polynesian sauce makes me want to do a dance everytime. So I tell folks that Chick-fil-A is to chicken what In-n-Out is to burgers. That usually appeases them to the mystery that is Chick-fil-A. I typically find myself here once a week, mainly for breakfast. Chicken for breakfast? What is the world coming to? It's all about those biscuits. Add a touch of honey, and it's golden. At lunch, I like the Arnold Palmer option for drinks. This one instance, my co-worker and I were blown away by what went down. They: 1. Approached our table and offered to get beverage refills. 2. Offered us brownie samples. 3. Gave us coupons for free breakfast items. Where else are you gonna go and get ANY of that during a visit - at a fast food chain nonetheless?! That's all it took for me. Oh, and I do pay the premium for the upgraded bun and extras. They have so many offers for BOGO and free breakfasts, it all evens out in the end. read more

Did not have the Chick-Fil-A charm that I'm used to (i.e. super-friendly and super-efficient). And the fries were oversalted. Again! Really, people, they bordered on the edge of inedible. BECAUSE this place isn't in seattle either! once i moved here, it took me a while to actually visit a chick-fil-a. i kept calling it chick-a-fil. hahha....anyway, once i visited one i was pretty satisfied. i wish it was about $1 less for each menu item but it's not bad! the chicken nuggets and original sandwich is a bit "over-seasoned" for me but you definitely feel like you've eaten a meal here. i love their fries! yummy and pretty unique in the world of fast food. i also like how they have sweet ice tea as a drink option - most places don't. this place is slightly better than your typical macdonald's meal but i definitely wouldn't eat at this place too often...i mean, well, eating out too often in general isn't very good for your weight/health anyway. this place is still fatty and high in sugar and sodium regardless of it being "better than" burger king/macdonald's etc. it's a good place for lunch or quick dinner :) OH and this particular location is closed on sundays. i'm not sure if that's the case for all chick-fil-a locations. read more

I've been here twice this past week! The chicken wrap and the chicken salad sandwich were mmm...yummy! I bought lunch for this contractor doing work for me and he loved the chicken wrap as well. They have exceptional customer service and it is quite nice for them to reply "My pleasure" instead of 'you're welcome' when ordering. I have gone here only through Drive-Thru window and have not eaten inside so this review is based only on Drive-Thru service. They also offer sweetened vs. unsweetened tea as an option.... how cool is that?! Try this place out! Food is healthy and tastes like it was prepared fresh. Best thing about Chick-fil-A? Their breakfast. Get some chick-n-minis with honey. Wash it down with some sweet tea. And lick those fingers! Pay no mind to the calories. Sure, there's butter on the biscuits, the chicken is breaded, and you'll need to eat at least three to fill up, but it's worth it. Okay first, I want start out by saying there is nothing wrong with their food. The real problem is the drive-thru, I go to chick-fil-a maybe once or twice a month. And 50 percent of the time they forget to put something in the bag! Normally it's just a small thing, usually fries and I'll tell them. But this time I was actually in a hurry so I didn't check the bag before leaving the drive-thru. Soon to find out later that they forgot to put a whole sandwich in the bag! C'mon! I don't know about most people but I hold chick-fil-a to a little bit of a higher standard than some other fast food places and this is ridiculous! All these things keep adding up. The service here was good for a fast food joint. I love their juicy fried chicken because they fry it in store, and you can taste that it's real chicken ( not misc "rib meat"). The fact that their standard fry is waffle cut makes it heaven. My only complaint is that the bur get buns are so flimsy. If they just invested in sturdier buns ( and whole wheat options), then it's 5 stars for sure. P.s. get the garlic and herb ranch, it is life! read more
