I am a huge fan of Chick-Fil -A. I am Signature Status on my Chick-Fil-A app because I buy so many breakfast and lunch from there so much. I never had a bad experience at a Chick-Fil-A before as I did at this location. My girlfriend and I went in for breakfast and I ordered chicken and scrambled eggs in a bowl with an iced coffee. One of my favorite combinations. They told me that they would bring out the iced coffee for me. I gave it about 10 minutes and decided to go up to the employee and ask for my iced coffee. They said they will bring it out. Minutes later, I went back and they said "i forgot." It happens, I know. But it was too many times and I had finished my breakfast and my girlfriend finished her food too and i got my iced coffee at the end. I was so sad, because NOTHING is better than eating and drinking iced coffee at the same time. My girlfriend had ordered the Cobb Salad and they forgot to give us our little torilla chips that it usually comes with. We had also ordered ice cream and it was very watery and not as much as they usually put. As i was waiting for the ice cream, another guy next to me had complained that there was a hair in his sandwich. I saw it and it was long and stuck out of the sandwich. This location is at the Woodbury Center in Irvine. A nice clean location, good service and the normal standards you get from the Chick-Fil-A. Everyone is very nice as the customer service in this chain has been getting really good over the past few years. I usually get the chicken sandwich but for the sake of debate with some friends, I had to try their chicken fingers for comparison to another brand. I'm always a fan of their waffle fries, just feels like you don't get more than 7 (yes i counted) proper cuts of fries. They do have really good condiments here from the sriracha sauce to their house sauce. The chicken fingers were just okay. Their sandwich is still my favorite choice here. While my husband drove back, I called the place and told them that he is on his way to pick up the dressing. The female staff response to that was 'unfortunately we are closing in 5 min for the safety of the employees.' She couldn't just hand him a packet of dressing even if he gets there 1 minute after they close? It was their fault that they screwed up. Customer service, again, sucks here. This CFA is always so busy but the line moves pretty quickly! The staff here are friendly and I love using the app for rewards. Had a mobile app order for pick up today at the Woodbury Town Center Chic-fil-A in Irvine at around 3:15 pm today. Sorry but this place is an organizational mess. I walk in to pick up my mobile order and just waiting there. There is a lady in front of me that also had a mobile app order. Not one person helps her and asks her if she had an order for pick up. She is waiting patiently and still not one employee asks her if she needs anything. There is an employee or manager in a blue uniform and she has no clue. Food is ready for pick up but just sitting on the back counter. The lady in front me starts losing her patience and says that is my order right there just sitting there and an employee finally gives it to her. Now it is my turn. I politely tell the lady in the blue uniform that I have a mobile order which is ready for pick up. She completely ignores me. The staff is now wiping and washing the floor behind the counter. I guess getting the floor clean is more important than getting orders out and helping customers. My order which has been ready for pick up is just sitting on the back counter probably getting soggy. My daughter's vanilla milkshake melted. After another 10 minutes go by, I politely tell one of the employees that the food on the counter is my order. I usually don't post reviews but after my experience today with Raquel (Sr Ops Manager), I had no choice. Raquel (hopefully I am spelling it correctly) was dismissive, rude, and vulgar with her consumer service standards. It was very disheartening to receive this level of service from an employee at Chick-fil-A, as they are known for their exquisite consumer service and experience. It was further disappointing to see that, Raquel a "Sr Ops Manager", would not display service expected of a Chic-fil-A employee but also negatively affect operational standards. Please provide additional training to Raquel, in areas such as Consumer Service & De-escalation best practices- as these are both pillars to a successful business. I don't blame Chic-fil-A and will continue to eat here but I will avoid coming back to this location due to Raquel and will also mention this incident to my contemporaries, colleagues, friends, family. read more

I like my fair share of chick-fil-a, and this location is probably not as well kept or maintained as the other locations I have seen. I placed an order through the app and even though I had confirmed my arrival, it still took a good chunk of time for them to prepare my order. From behind the counter, the floors did not look very well kept and although chick-fil-a is normally known for their above and beyond customer service, the employees here did not seem that happy or grateful to have guests roll through. I stood awkwardly at the to-go area for a couple minutes before an employee even acknowledged my presence and asked for my name on the order to check if it was still being worked on. The standard chicken sandwich tasted fine though, as it had crispy batter and juicy chicken paired with a few pickles within the bun. Overall, it's not a bad spot if you're looking to just get the food but I just wouldn't expect the level of service that is usually standard with most chick-fil-a locations. read more

McDonald has better customer service because if you ask to add a 6 piece of nuggets (which are pre-made and take 2 seconds to box) they would let you and not tell you to go go all the way through the line again for such a small, quick item, didn't ask for a combo or a sandwich, just the smallest amount of nuggets. On top of this they made my order wrong, the receipt had it right but my drink was wrong, didn't get any sauces, and got pickles and no cheese when I paid extra for cheese and asked for no pickles. For context it wasn't as Buddy as usual as it was after the lunch rush and only 7 cars in front of me as opposed to the 20 that there usually are. Why am I reviewing Chick-fil-A? Well, first of all, I've never been to one before. Not ever! Second, well I was hungry and I was shopping at Trader Joe's nearby. Since I'd never read any reviews about this company before, I had no clue that they charged for lettuce and tomato. No wonder the guy behind the counter asked me if I wanted my classic sandwich with lettuce and tomato. I thought they had 2 options, with pickles or with lettuce and tomato. Guess not. I also opted for the whole wheat bun which is another extra 20 or 30 cents. Oh it does not matter. When I actually sat down to eat my sandwich, this was when things mattered. It mattered that the sandwich did not taste freshly made. The bun was soggy and the chicken wasn't hot. The whole thing felt like something you buy from the frozen section and nuked in your microwave. I was SO not impressed. For over $3, I'd expected something a lot more tasty than this. Nothing like what it used to be!!!! We moved here six years ago and up until two years ago, anyone could Order with confidence that they would get the orders correct. About two years ago salads were starting to have a different look. The containers started looking smaller and the chicken for example in the salads was starting to diminish and look different. Fast forward now to two more years and the orders are starting to be incorrectly put together.
