They are busy because the food is good . I have heard they brine their chicken in pickle juice, but that has not been confirmed. This particular restaurant has Diet Dr Pepper AND it is right across from my Ortho doctor, so it is a no brainer I would grab a sandwich here. I normally love Chick-fil-a and choose it over everything but this trip was not a good experience. First, there were three of us who all ordered separately. The person who ordered first didn't get her food until the other two of us were almost finished with ours. My fries and chicken tasted like they had been sitting for a good while before they were served to me. Very impressive lunch stop on a road trip. Parking lot was packed, 2 lane drive through was full, line to the door inside. Traffic directed so we could safely cross to entrance. My wife and I were traveling home from Florida on 3/16/20. This is the day Ky and many other states ordered all restaurants to close for dine in eating. Drive thru and carry out were still allowed. I called from the road to make sure they were open. We got off I-75 to get our favorite chicken sandwich. The drive thru was packed, but the staff directed the cars to 2 drive thru areas. The staff was hopping, and in a matter of just a few minutes we ordered our sandwiches and fries, payed for our order and got our food. The food was hot and delish. Living so close to a chick-fil-a really isn't good for me. I'm such a fan! You literally can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but I seriously recommend the lemonade. It's the perfect balance between tart and sweet and goes perfectly with all of their food. My go-to is the #1 meal, but seriously, everything is fantastic. When my friends try Chick-fil-a for the first time and tell it was just fine, I know it means they didn't get the chick-fil-a sauce. Never forget the sauce - it makes all the difference. Anytime I arrive breakfast, lunch , or dinner there is always a long line, but I never let that deter me. The reason being they have mastered the long lines with people standing outside in the drive through taking orders and this morning we had people bringing our orders to or car. They were fast and efficient. Aside from service they have a great selection on their menu. If you haven't tried their southwestern chicken salad I highly recommend it with creamy salsa dressing. I have never had a bad experience at a Chic Fil A until today. My order was brought out almost 20 minutes after the app said a staff member was bringing it curbside. When the food arrived, the staff member was rude and short with me. I took a sip of my drink, and it was the wrong drink from what I ordered. Okay, they are busy, I'll just go in and swap it out. This place is like a busy airport terminal. There are two lines of cars wrapped around the drive through and believe me, they need both lines! I stopped here on a Saturday afternoon recently with my fiancé and I tried the new spicy southwestern chicken salad. It was fairly spicy and delicious! The employees here are always very friendly. One of my friends used to work here and I know that the starting rate that they pay adult employees is over minimum wage, so it's better to work here than other fast food restaurants. I also tried the frosted lemonade recently and loved it! It tastes like a creamy vanilla lemonade milkshake. More of a review for all chick fil a locations, but this one is particularly well run. There are almost always long lines but they move so quickly and efficiently while still being friendly. The food has always been perfectly cooked and hot with the fries nicely stuffed in. Plenty of offers for sauces and to refill drinks. They clean up quickly and walk around offering to get you things. So I went to this place this morning to order these new sandwiches that the cow in the got dang commercial keeps telling me to get. MOOO..all right...MOOO...all right. DON'T CHARGE AT ME?! Or are those bulls? O_o Well, not really, I love college football and this commercial seems to keep coming on. So I go there and there is nothing unusual about the long lines until I see the new overhangs! So I ended up asking this guy, pretending to be all into this work and what not (maybe he was working IDK) and I ask him about this. With a few minutes to spare, he tells me that this was a recent addition. Apparently, they want to be more customer servicy AND they now have a window that is a regular door now. They will walk up to your car and converse and cuddle and all that. So very customer service oriented. I like that! Thing is, the drive thru, like many drive thru places in Lexington, keep putting the drive thru to the back of the restaurant, so you have to keep going around and around like Nascar. He did mention that parking was a problem (um...yeah! With all the cars stalled in a line, who would be able to angle a car into a parking spot?), however, could they not have put money towards rearranging the drive thru so that way as soon as the customer gets the food, they are all ready, ready to go, driving off on the street? I think I had done two laps, enough to get me in the Nascar heats, just to get out of the place! Or maybe, now that I think about it, they figured it was more cost efficient to build overhangs instead of rearranging the drive thru window? Hmmm... I understand they are trying to make the service better and I bet they look on Yelp. Now just invest money on making a drive thru the right way. For anyone wondering why I gave it 5 stars, it is mainly because of their customer service and food (which they should be graded on here for). Their traffic diverting is horrible though! read more

One of my favorite fast food restaurants! I highly recommend using their app when you visit. Over time, you will earn points and can turn them in for various free items! I do wish they asked if you have the app; however, because so many times I've forgotten to show it. Their chicken nuggets are great, as is their chicken sandwich. Though it seriously saddens me to leave this review, today was the first time ever I left the drive through line of a CFA without ordering. Consistently, this location is the slowest I've been to. Today I waited 15 minutes before I ever got to put in my order. I LOVE Chick-fil-A, and a large part of that is due to their usually outstanding service and efficiency. However, this is the only branch I have seen not take note of your car, your name, or some identifier. Consequently, when you get to the window to get your food, usually one of the workers has to ask what you had and scramble around to get the correct order. This has been my case multiple times and what I suspect was causing the hold up today. I am definitely willing to give them another try since it's the closest one to me, but it may take a while :( read more

So this specific Chik-fil-A has incorporated a new drive thru process-they have personnel standing outside for each drive thru lane to take your order AND you pay right there with debit! When you drive to the window, you're strictly picking up your order,...that's it:) This has allowed for a much faster process and less confusion between the garbled talk through the speakers on drive thrus.
