This has been the worst chic fil a me, my wife and kids have been to. It stinks cause it's the closest one to our house. They have messed up our order through the drive through multiple times. They have forgot to give us fries and other food items on multiple occasions and don't put the little things in the bag like salad dressings, napkins or straws for our drinks. This Chick-fil-A is in a tricky spot but the location manages traffic greatly. The drive thru is fast, the employees are friendly, and it is very clean. For those who have not been here, Chick-fil-A is admittedly a little bit pricer than other fast food places (McDonald's for example) but the Chicken tastes extremely good, and the size of the chicken strips and chicken on the burger seems bigger than other places. I will say i dont like the pickle on the burgers, but it is easy to ask to not have it, and they have never gotten my order wrong. read more

The food is so good here that I don't even want to call it a "chain." Every single time I've eaten at a Chick-fil-A, the food comes out piping hot, fresh, and quickly (today, the food came out before I'd even gotten to my table.) I love the chicken fingers because they are crisp, without too much breading, and not dripping in grease. I wasn't sure if I'd like the cross cut "fries" but they've grown on me and taste really potatoey. They have great dipping sauces too. And BONUS they serve Heinz ketchup...the only ketchup I eat. I know, I know... the politics are debateable, however the lemonade and the ice cream are top notch. I personally enjoy most of my Chick-fil-A visits, even if they are not all that often. This location especially, is always a pleasure. The staff is uber friendly, almost creepily so. They always have a pleasure in helping you - or so they say ;) I like the ease of the location and that the drive-thru is usually pretty quick. It's right down the street from Settler's Park, so makes a good place to stop for a bite to take to the park - especially on movie night :) read more

I came to get free hash browns I had on my app which I couldn't get bc it wasn't morning which I didn't know and the app didn't tell me. Friendly staff, attentive service, delicious food. Try the breakfast burrito and ask for the spicy chicken. The chicken nuggets are excellent, and the fries and even shakes are good. I've been here early in the morning, during the lunch rush and in the evening, and the customer service and food quality always exceeds my expectations. It always feel weird when I rate something 5-Stars. The business really needs to be pushing top-notch customer service and relations to be able to earn a perfect score. While there are several Chick-Fil-A's in the great Boise area, the one in Meridian on Eagle is the location I frequent the most. PROs: Great customer service: The attentive, consistently friendly, and genial staff is always a welcome sight in today's go-go-go society. I have never had a poor experience with any staff at any location I've been with. *Story time from a visit: Was dining in and I dropped a box of Fries on the floor. Without even asking, within 15 seconds an employee had brought over an entire new box of fries* I couldn't believe how quick they were to ensuring my satisfaction. Good Food: The food is very good, although at times I've had a varying size on the chicken breasts on the chicken sandwich. Sometimes you get large full pieces and other times you get the runt of the litter. Only fault i have. Clean Locations: With the amount of people who visit during a day, Its surprising how clean the lobby is. They are very aware about keeping the dine-in area clean. As well as, the environment was very negligent, so much as to the employees were wearing beanies while inside which subtracts from the overall chick-Fil-A experience. Just like in Florida, Chick-fil-A is a hit here in Idaho, with little wonder. For fast food, the chicken ROCKS! The cross cut fries, ROCK! The vanilla shakes, ROCK! I typically wouldn't go out of my way to review a fast food restaurant, but these guys went above and beyond when I visited this location. You see, the Chick-fil-A in Meridian is the last one before you enter the terrible Chick-fil-A-free zone of the Pacific Northwest (until 2015). We were up early to finish up our long drive from the east coast to Tacoma and arrived just as they opened for breakfast. I explained to the two employees (Ana and a manager) my terrible predicament of having no access to their delicious chicken sandwiches for the foreseeable future and they graciously agreed to make non-breakfast sandwiches for me to take home to hoard for later. Knowing that I wouldn't be eating them all in one sitting and not wanting my sandwiches to become soggy messes, they took it upon themselves to separately package the buns, chicken breasts, and pickles. I went here to pick up food since my husband was on hospice and many relatives had come into town. The staff was kind and even gave me paper plates and silverware and even a huge tray of cookies at no extra cost. They also carried everything to my car. This message is for Mr. Brad Miles, owner/operator of the Meridian, Idaho Chic-Fil-A location: On Monday, I came into the Eagle Road location to receive my "free" chicken sandwich that was offered by your company for veterans on Veteran's Day. To my disappointment, I was told by the manager that "We're not participating in the free sandwich deal for veterans." Now, if the free sandwich had not been advertised and promoted so heavily by your company, I would not be so outraged by this matter. What my issue is, is this: Why decide NOT to participate in the sandwich deal if it is encouraged by your company to do so? Why allow veterans to make the drive to your restaurant with the intention of claiming this deal when your response is: "Sorry, but no--we aren't participating." To be quite honest, I am disappointed that, as the franchisee, you decided you did not want to participate in your company's honoring of veterans on Veteran's Day. To know that the years of selfless service we (the veterans living here in Meridian) gave our lives for so that you could run and operate your business are not worth one free sandwich per year is infuriating. I'm not sure this message will spark an emotional concern in you; I'm not even sure that you will bother to read it. You don't need some random guy on the Internet telling you what to expect. So when it comes to chains, I generally only leave a review if they do something VERY impressive... or very disappointing. And today, the crew at this Chick-fil-A location did something VERY impressive. I walked in right on the tail end of the lunch rush, about 1pm. The drive thru lines were still very crowded, as was the interior. I had a huge order to take care of as I was picking up food for my entire family and some guests. It was a big order, and it was complicated. We are picky eaters. But these guys knocked it out of the park. I ordered nearly $60 worth of food, and as busy as the place was... my order was ready within a couple minutes of me finding a seat to wait. Seriously, I had barely gotten comfortable when a young lady walked up to me with my order. I was shocked. I checked through the bags and not only had they gotten the order done quickly, but it was 100% accurate. Bottom line folks, the crew at this Chick-fil-A know how to work a restaurant... quick, clean, and efficient. Pay them a visit when you need to get your "cluck" on. read more

If the chicken here didn't taste so good, those cow ads would dock at least one star from my rating. * Here in Boise, I've been through a few drive throughs and ordered the classic Chick Fil A sandwich, with Chick Fil A sauce -- its delicious but its more of a thick mayonnaise than a dipping sauce. Hard to spread onto a sandwich from the little tub or cup, unless you get a butter knife to help. * Today is my first walk-in. When asked for todays special, the waitress replied, "Sir, we don't have specials. Sorry." So I tried the nuggets meal. Still is great tasting chicken. And I tried a couple different dipping sauces. Polynesian (with pineapple juice) , and barbecue. None were bad, but I'm partial to certain barbecue sauces. Another story for another day. I grew up with Chick-Fil-A and have missed it for the years I've lived in Idaho. So glad they're here! Now I don't have to scope it out every time I travel. Hubby and I went today (they've been open for 4 days) at breakfast time. I had a breakfast meal and he ordered a lunch meal. It took a while because they had to make his meal special -- they do serve lunch items at breakfast time, but they don't have them teed up and ready. No problem there. I'm not much of a breakfast person myself, so this is cool. The only hiccup we had was hubby's deluxe sandwich. He wanted the lettuce & tomato, but not the pickles and cheese. They got the pickles right, but it did include cheese. The restaurant was very clean and every staff member we encountered was very friendly. They offered us drink refills more than once (yeay!).
