I have friends that rave about this place so I had to try it. This is a national chain so I would expect the food to be the same at all locations. My review is that the food it okay. There is nothing wrong with it but there is nothing great about it. I prefer KFC's original recipe better but that it's just my opinion. I guess if you don't like KFC then this is the place to go for a chicken sandwich. The restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly. Hit the drive through for a quick dinner after running around all day. The person taking my order was super friendly. Service was very quick. It was busy inside and there were a few cars in front but the wait was not very long at all. The food was fresh and very delicious. My son loves the nuggets here. I have so many good things to say about this Chick-Fil-A! One of them being that their customer service is always top notch. Never have I once had an issue with this location. Another thing is I always receive my food as fresh as possible so that is always a plus! No one wants cold food once leaving through the drive through. They are so quick even when there is such a huge lunch/dinner rush. There is one specific time I wanted to mention about this location as well. I don't usually carry my wallet with me when my husband is with me so I figured he had it on him. We get to the window to pay and he completely looks embarrassed and we both realized we had no way to pay so we asked the gal if we could come back and pay for it and them just save our meal for us. The gal was so sweet and said "this one is on us!" We were so shocked and thought that was the nicest gesture a fast food restaurant has done for us! I am always raving about chick-fil-a especially because I never grew up with one in my hometown and never realized what great customer service was until I stepped foot into this fast food chain. One last thing is that the owner of this location is so sweet and although I've never met him, he is always sending coupons for a "free treat" on the app! We came two nights in a row around 9:30pm to get milkshakes. The first night we came they said the ice cream machine was broken. We were upset but thought we would just come again tonight. We have a friend that is an employee and so we asked her if the machine was down and she said no. We got in line and waited about 8 minutes before we got up to order. Right when we ordered, the employee heard in his ear that "we are no longer serving desserts." This was at 9:45pm. As we were leaving the drive through, the cars ahead of us were handed milkshakes out the window. We called to make sure it was a broken ice cream machine and not them wanting to turn their machine off early so they could go home. When we brought this up, she said "our machine is being finicky so you would have had to wait a while to get your milkshake." They never gave us that option, making sure that they could close the store and not have to work late to give us shakes because it "takes too long." The manager told us that she could give us free desserts but when we said that we had 7 people in the car she said that she could only give us 3 free desserts. Super annoying, a waste of time, and a terrible call on the managers part (August 6, 2020). Normally I wouldn't let one bad experience ruin my feelings about a company, but we came two nights in a row around the same time and the machine suddenly didn't work anymore right as they are soon to close. The didn't say the machine was broken, the just said no more desserts. It just isn't professional. read more

I love Chik Fil A plain n simple. If I order a spicy sammich, gotta get a strawberry shake to prevent heartburn the rest of the day. But seeing how thier shakes are a step above too, not a problem. For those that have never been, Chil Fil A invented the chicken sammich all the other fast food places are trying very hard to copy. But so far no one does a chicken sammich like Chik Fil A. Two tips! 1) unless its your "thing" skip the pickles they Taste weird. 2) learn the sauces, and don't be afraid to ask for more than they hand you. Only one complaint I have. And that is they are getting into the habit of pre cooking thier chicken. While still good, its not great! And just kind of lazy in my opinion! Chik Fil A.....Stop pre cooking your food! The staff was very professional and attended to every need. Iv never had that before in a "fast food" restaurant, very cool. I say fast food, but it doesn't feel fast foodish...it feels more like a sit down restarant where you can sit and relax for a minute before getting back out to your busy life. The food was hot and fresh and the chicken was very good. Great light breading, flavorful taste, and a good crunch before you hit the tender moist meat. All of this at a very resonable price. This particular location is incredibly friendly. I've never had a bad chic fila experience but the Meridian location is very nice. I was there last week when the Miss Idaho contestants came in and it was incredibly busy. The staff maintained a clean and friendly atmosphere. They refilled my drink promptly several times. We always enjoy Chick-fil-A and today's food was as good as ever. We always have a cup of thir chicken noodle soup with whatever we order because it is sooooo good :) The reason for 4 stars today is because one impressive thing about eating here is that there is always a PR person walking around to refill your drinks and check to make sure you are happy with your meal. However - today that staff person spent the whole time we were eating visiting at one table and didn't even scan the area once. We actually took our drink up to the counter to have it refilled. This is the one Chick-fil-A were whenever I go to they always fill my fries up halfway and not only me but my boyfriend also says that they never fill his fries up either. The food is always cold and the customer service always sucks here. The other Chick-fil-A near the Boise Towne Square mall is so good compared to this one, so if you have to choose one never go to this one because it always has the worst customer service and they never give you enough food and their chicken is always under cooked. After eating the chicken I went to the ER because of stomach pains, so if that doesn't urge you enough not to go to this establishment then I don't know what does. Like I said the other Chick-fil-A near the town square mall never messes anything up and has the best customer service ever, so I don't blame the food chain I just blame the owner of this restaurant since they are all individually owned. Friendly, fast, consistently good food. Did I say friendly. We had no less than 3 employees check on us during our visit. One interesting note is they made note of what I was wearing in order to deliver the food to the proper table. We had the standard chick filet sandwich with waffle fries and a chicken salad sandwich.
