And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Parishes' had very good flavor and good texture. I also ordered a jerk chicken wrap. The chicken was cut into small bite size pieces and served in a thin wrap with shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers cheese and dressing. The wrap worked fairly well as a whole, but it could have been served by any number of types of restaurants. Meaning, that I didn't really pick up much of Jerk or Jamaican flavor as it was served. Maybe because there was a good bit of lettuce and I'm usually eating jerk chicken off the bone. You could have told me it was a chicken Caesar Wrap and I would have believed it. Again, it was good. Just not quite what I expected. The eatery was cool, well decorated and had a friendly vibe. A few regulars came and went while I was there and the crew had a good rapport with them.
