Spicy Deluxe w/Colby Jack w/ Kale Crunch side... Fingerprints in the bun were included for free!

So whenever someone said they didn't like Chick-fil-A I would debate because they should love it! After visiting this location, I now truly understand how someone could not like Chick-fil-A... I've always had great food from this brand all along the east coast from CT to FL. Today was the end of my raving review of Chick-fil-A. I didn't eat the Kale side salad. I tasted the dressing and didn't like it. That was just personal preference, next time I'll stick with waffle fries like I usually get My sandwich was dry and overcooked. The flavor was off, more salty than spicy and the lettuce on my sandwich was softer than the bread. The finger imprints on my sandwich bun weren't a major problem, its bound to hapoen in food service. Hopefully they were wearing gloves It was a busy afternoon So I used curbside pickup. Its an easy to use service through the app! The only problem was that the line for the drive-thru was so long, it blocked the curbside pickup parking spaces. I had to wait in line just to get a space. If this quality of food is the new normal for this company, then I'll pass. Hopefully it was only this location.

Like all my other Chick-Fil-A reviews, I have to start off by saying that I have no respect for the actual company that is Chick-Fil-A. This company donates money to terrible causes, has evil views, and for the most part absolutely sucks.......but I'm a total hypocrite who still occasionally eats here because let's be real, it's the best fast food in the world. I stopped at this location on Saturday before getting tattooed and it was a solid and quick choice for lunch. I came here in the very early afternoon and settled on the chicken chunks meal with waffle fries and a sprite on the side. The staff per usual was extremely friendly and fast to get me in and out. The food? Well, it's Chick-Fil-A so it was delicious but let's get more specific, eh? The chicken chunks were super juicy, super tasty, and styled satisfying on the tongue. The waffle fries are some of my favourites around and just like in the last get a huge thumbs up from me. Overall, as much as I hate Chick-Fil-A, the food is incredible and the staff is super friendly. If you are like me and look past all the terrible things this company says and does because of how good the food is, then you'll enjoy it.

Open now!!!! (Was my tip back when it first opened but it never posted lol). I'm not sure why this location has two stars before but let me say it's a dangerous a.k.a. great addition to the turnpike. On two occasions so far I've decided to take the scenic route to work just to stop for a chicken biscuit. The coffee cup protective pieces say "Great Morning Sponsored by Coffee"! How can you start a morning better than that? I've also gotten dinner. Always the correct order and expectedly courteous service.

Is there an ice shortage, because damn!

The few times we've been there, we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff whenever we asked questions. There was little to no eye contact, and the customer service just wasn't welcoming. The experience at The Salad Bar was the complete opposite. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and were immediately asked if we had any questions. That simple gesture made a great first impression. Eye contact is important to me. It feels like, as a society, we've lost some of those basic courtesies that make people feel seen and valued. The staff at The Salad Bar absolutely delivered in that regard. I also appreciate businesses that pay attention to the little things. Cleanliness should always be expected, but unfortunately, that's not always the case. The restaurant was spotless, and I was pleasantly surprised to find USB charging outlets at the tables--a thoughtful touch that definitely didn't go unnoticed. Great food, friendly service, and attention to detail make for a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

I popped in because the parking lot was mostly empty. It wasn't particularly busy in the cafe either. There were two small groups ahead of me in line. I order my food and black iced coffee to go. I received my food. It even had to be heated. And I had to wait 10 minutes for them to give me my black iced coffee. Even though there are only two or three people waiting in the drink area. And that was after I said something. So who knows how long it would have taken. This isn't because of lack of effort. The baristas were doing things. They're making lots of drinks. But it's not clear for whom. They finish the drinks and they don't call people's names. Maybe they're for to go orders? I understand that restaurants need to make choices about how they run things. All I can say is, that it's not a good experience to get all of your food and you have to wait for a black iced coffee (a drink that takes very minimal effort) for 10 minutes. Even though you're one of only a few people in the drink area. I'm not going to change my review score. But these experiences definitely affect how often I visit.

It's not trying too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Feels like a spot where regulars post up, sip coffee, and take their time. No rush, no nonsense, ust good energy. And then the sandwich shows up... and flips the script. This isn't breakfast. This is a stacked, unapologetic morning statement. The Overloaded Egg Sando Griddled brioche bun, soft, buttery, just enough toast to hold things together (barely). Under that, a crispy hash brown doing the heavy lifting, adding crunch and soaking up all the goodness. Sausage brings that savory backbone, while the spinach scrambled eggs stay fluffy and rich. Then you get that creamy hit from the smashed avocado, melted smoked gouda layering in a subtle smokiness, and finally... the gochujang aioli. That aioli is the move. Sweet heat, a little funk, a little tang, cuts right through the richness and keeps every bite from getting too heavy. And let's be honest... Had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to take the first bite. This thing is messy, stacked, and fully committed to the cause. Not first-date food. Not "eat it in the car" food. This is sit-down, take-a-minute, maybe-need-a-nap-after kind of food. The best part? The space balances it perfectly. Big, bold sandwich... calm, easygoing room. That's a combo I'll go back for every time.

But they also serve some familiar things in different ways. For instance, the jerk chicken and shrimp wraps. They also offer rice bowls with your choice of proteins. The rice pics I saw looked like white rice, rather than the rice and peas I generally see at Jamaican restaurants. I always order a beef patty when I try a new Jamaican place. Parishes' had very good flavor and good texture. I also ordered a jerk chicken wrap. The chicken was cut into small bite size pieces and served in a thin wrap with shredded lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers cheese and dressing. The wrap worked fairly well as a whole, but it could have been served by any number of types of restaurants. Meaning, that I didn't really pick up much of Jerk or Jamaican flavor as it was served. Maybe because there was a good bit of lettuce and I'm usually eating jerk chicken off the bone. You could have told me it was a chicken Caesar Wrap and I would have believed it. Again, it was good. Just not quite what I expected. The eatery was cool, well decorated and had a friendly vibe. A few regulars came and went while I was there and the crew had a good rapport with them. I would definitely go back to try the Rasta Pasta or something like that. If you're in the area, Parishes is well worth checking out. Four Stars

The wrap itself, however, fell a little flat for me--the flavors were milder than I expected, and I was hoping for more of that bold, spicy jerk kick. That said, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion size was generous. Looking at photos of the restaurant, the space has a stylish, artisan vibe that I'd love to experience in person. While this dish didn't wow me, I'm open to giving them another try in-house--sometimes ambiance and fresh-off-the-grill food make all the difference.

We started off with a beet salad, which was surprisingly delicious, combining candied walnuts and sweet orange and green apple slices with salty feta and tangy balsamic over a mountain of mixed greens. We then moved on to paninis, generous portions of meat and toppings on freshly baked, crispy bread. One of us chose more mixed greens tossed with dressing while the other chose crunchy French fries. We also ordered a third panini to go, the Mondo combo. We asked for fries; the kitchen accidentally gave us a salad. Our server, Heather N., saved the day by noticing the error and giving us both side orders. Mondo is family friendly, and there were plenty of children during our visit.
