I drove all the way back to the restaurant and was patient even when they told me about this inconsistency on the website. However, my main disappointment regarding this experience comes from the staff trying to tell me the original sandwich I received was correct. Apparently the website voids every ingredient that is supposed to come on the sandwich when you pay for extra add-ons, however my original sandwich was STILL missing the add-ons I paid for (avocado and cheese) and included the skimpiest amount of bacon, even though I paid for 3X bacon. On top of that, the size of the bread was half that of my other sandwich, which is supposed to be the same size. The girl at the counter tried to tell me it was because my other sandwich had more veggies (even though they were both supposed to have the same amount) but I really don't think that should affect the size of bread they give you. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability and the staff trying to convince me my sandwich was right when we were all looking right at it. It honestly was just the weirdest experience because they were all staring at the open face sandwich trying to tell me it had the ingredients I paid for. Even if they claim I was supposed to add the original ingredients manually myself, it STILL was missing the extra add-ons they charged me for. It was extremely odd that they kept going back and forth with me instead of admitting their mistake, so I decided to let it go. Lastly, the person whom I'm assuming is the manager re-wrapped the original sandwich for me and said he would make me another one and I could keep the first one. When I went to leave, the girl at the counter gave me grievance over taking both home, as if she either wanted it for herself or she was planning on recycling the ingredients for the next sandwich which I really hope wouldn't be the case for other customers' sake considering I literally took it home and brought it back to show them. Overall just a very weird customer service experience. Would not recommend.

My brother-in-law went with a Honey Walnut Shrimp plate from Secret Sauce Wok, and I went with sushi and miso soup from Rolled Up Sushi. I loved my lunch, starting with a nice flavorful Miso Soup ($5) that was served in a coffee cup! My eight Spicy Tuna Rolls ($14) were most definitely spicy. Now, since I love spicy food I was thrilled because 98% of the spicy tuna rolls I've had over the years are ho-hum on the old spiciness meter. Not these. The food hall was packed, and we saw many families having lunch there. Kids were all over, including some uniformed sports teams. The kids were also at the many video and arcade games on the premises, while bigger kids were entertaining themselves at Windmill's big bar. What a fun place for a fun food experience.

Hello YELPERS! My first review of this location (unfortunately) wasn't the best, so I'm pleased to write this new review! I hope I'm not too late to post this review as I wanted to comment about my experience at Chick-fil-A from last Monday. I had most positive experience with a young woman named Jordan in the drive-thru! In fact, I came home and taped my receipt on the fridge reminding myself to do this review! I'd like to begin this review addressing the very lovely JORDAN! What a sweetie pie! The smile on her face was enough to brighten my evening and her kind and welcoming demeanor was even better!! It is so nice to come across people that you know love their job because it shows in their quality of work. Jordan, if you're read this- you need to know that you are awesome! Keep up the good work! Now, on to the food... its awesome! I seem to always get the same thing, but it's just so good- I just can't seem to switch it up. I'm the classic person that orders the original chicken sandwich, fries and vanilla shake. And the BROWNIE! GOODNESS!!! The brownie is incredible! I wish they were bigger!!! Amazing, you would think a Franchisor would be concerned about how their brand is being portrayed and how customers are being treated. I wrote the "customer service" department of Chick-fil-A, after a whole lot of BS filler (such as "your satisfaction is our primary concern, blah blah blah..........") I finally get the line that since I didn't include the name of the store in my complaint, they can't do anything, because it is the responsibility of the store (franchisee) to take care of the problem. That's Corporate-ese for "fuck you". Funny how you just take a peek at the ADDRESS below the header of this review.....it's 3475 Marron Rd., Oceanside, CA 92056. Not sure how that doesn't identify the store????? Obviously the store owner doesn't read these Yelp reviews, or he/she does and doesn't give a shit.....which may very well be the case. But I'm surprised at Chick-fil-A corporate - they don't want to do anything to fix it, it has to be the particular store. Ever hear of FIXING IT and then charging back the store????? ITS WAY OVERPRICED!!! $12+ for fries and 4 small strips of chicken. We could all just go to a nice restaurant with good quality for for that price. I spend $12+ on a meal and I'm still hungry after. They try to say it's not "fast food" although everything is already cooked ahead of time and they are faster than McDonald's but somehow they aren't "fast food" they also say they make everything in house which is hard to believe because it doesn't taste like good quality ingredients in my experience. They should lower the prices or give people more of a restaurant experience for $12-$25 dollar meals (with a desert ) IM NOT SPENDING $12 on a fast food meal. IN N OUT IS WAYYYY CHEAPER & better quality. But for $12 I can go buy a nice chicken sandwich at an actual restaurant read more

I was vacationing in Oceanside and I got hungry so I stopped by here and I have to say by far, the best experience I've ever had in a fast food restaurant. When I had gotten to the restaurant, I took a few moments to decide my order and I didn't feel rushed at all. Wow. Talk about efficient. Employees walk up to the cars in the drive through with their IPads at the ready. They take your order, swipe your credit card, and then you drive quickly to the pick up window and get your 'perfect' order. All this and they display the exceptionally polite Chik-fil-a attitude. I went in to try Chick-fil-A out for the first time and it was a great experience trying out their food. The staff is very nice and pleasant, and the chicken sandwich with waffle fries are so good especially when you add their Chick-fil-A sauce. my friend & i had a really disappointing, confusing & upsetting experience with the staff member…read morenamed destiny at this location tonight. we came around 9pm, & he first asked if they were making more honey sesame chicken & super greens. this immediately gave her a sour facial expression & she snarkily said "yeah, but you would have to wait". i then asked if they were also planning on making more buldak chicken too. she had the same facial expression of disgust and repeated herself VERBATIM, the sense of being inconvenienced as if she was cooking the dishes herself. i initially dismissed this, figuring she probably had a long day. for context, i tried the buldak chicken for the first time about a week prior at this same location. this dish obviously has bell peppers & at the time, i asked the super polite lady (i caught her name but can't remember) if there is any way at all that she could do me a favor not to get as many bell peppers in my order if i were to opt for the buldak chicken; if not, i didn't mind ordering something else. that lady was enthusiastic & willing to go the extra mile to just gently scoop around the bell peppers for me. fast forward to today, i proceeded to ask destiny for the same favor & prefaced my question with "i KNOW this may be odd to ask, but could you please try to avoid including bell peppers". her face continued to sour, transitioned to an offended facial expression as if i've just personally insulted her bloodline. "i mean, there's nothing i can really do. i don't know what you want me to do. there's only so much i can do. there are bell peppers... in" she retorted curtly. obviously the dish has bell peppers & it's an odd request & i still work in customer service too with previous experience in the food industry, so the last thing i want to do is inconvenience anyone. but since my experience with the other lady a week prior was SO positive & refreshing, i wanted to nicely ask destiny for the same thing. destiny was unwilling to accommodate & she made it very clear through her passive aggression, then tried to mask with aggressive contrived over-politeness. my friend urged me to talk to the supervisor, but i chalked it up to her having a bad day & tried to give her grace. the reason why i'm even writing this is what came after. i watched her scoop the buldak chicken dish into my order specifically (my friend got the same thing as me along with his honey sesame chicken) & not only did she not "try to avoid" bell peppers, she actively shorted me on my portion, only giving me three pieces of chicken with a bunch of bell peppers at the bottom (pictured below). even the chow mein & rice were smaller. i didn't get to take a photo of my friend's order, but his was at least 3x the amount i had received, to the point where he even shared pieces of his buldak chicken with me. it's one thing to be unwilling to accommodate someone's request despite the restaurant being slow, but it's completely out of line to deliberately short the portion of food that someone is paying for with their own money just because you didn't like how they tried asking you for a simple favor. even when bagging, my friend asked for a pair of chopsticks & a fork for me, & when she asked him for sauces, he mentioned teriyaki for me. no fork was included, no sauce was included, & to add to the pettiness of the entire confusing situation, the fortune cookies she had included were both CRUSHED. and obviously deliberately. i wish i was making this up. she then forced a smile before handing the bag, exerted the same aggressive contrived over-politeness, & looked me dead in the eyes and said "i tried to avoid the bell peppers" while fully knowing she did nothing of the sort besides scoop a smaller portion of the entree into my order because she didn't think i was watching her scoop the orders into our plates. again, i can relate and empathize when someone has had a bad workday & everything just feels so aggravating, but the energy & retaliation was misdirected towards me when i was trying to be as polite & gentle as possible since i did not want to ruffle any feathers. i am not a punching bag & i definitely shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of her lack of emotional regulation at the expense of the portions of my fully paid meal. it was just really confusing, sad, disappointing, & at this rate, it's not the monetary value & more about the principle of the matter. & i wish the lady who helped me here and was super nice to us a week prior was there instead. even my friend was shocked at her behavior & how everything was handled, so he had filled out a survey with the same experience since we were on one check. i wish destiny well & i hope she has better days working here, but i don't ever want her to touch my food order when i come here next. the world sucks right now & i get that, but kindness doesn't take that much out of you to give to others who mean no harm.

Still love their restaurant decor! Negative: the Mac n cheese just keeps getting more and more runny. This time it was almost void of noodles. My son called it cheese soup. Kids love the Mac n cheese so much here we get two, but this time both were mostly just liquid like watery cheese and a few noodles. Surely someone saw this before hand. Husband and I still ate some of it, it was actually yummy with the flour tortillas, but more as a dipping sauce than Mac n cheese. We had some box Mac n cheese so we made that for the kids which defeated the purpose of ordering out, you order out to avoid cooking :P. Positive: chicken has improved. There for a while it was burnt n so dry. Once the pieces were super yellow and had fatty yellow substance all over the pieces. We laid off the pollo loco for a while. This order the chicken was yummy again, so yay! For the cost I really wish quality would be more consistent. The workers have always been consistently great. Restaurant has always been clean and very cool decor. We stopped wasting money on their salads because they took away the ingredients that made their salads yummy. So I hope to not get the yellow chicken or soup like Mac but truly we just never know what we will get because quality just has not been consistent.
