This is absolutely the WORST Chick-fil-A I've ever been to, a million times over. I keep trying to give them a chance but every single time, they f up the service. Every time. They never have Mac-n-cheese in the evening. They run out way before the close every single night. I keep hoping they'll improve and have enough to serve but they don't and they do nothing to fix that problem. Additionally even though they KNOW they are doing nothing to correct this problem, they make you come into the drive thru line before you can even find out IF they have any left, and then you are stuck sitting thru all the orders before you can leave. After sitting there for 20 min I decided when I get up to the pick up area I'm going to order something else since I've been waiting so long. Their little whiny mgr Noah said no you'll have to go back thru the line to order something. This is without a doubt the best example of the WORST WAY TO RUN A RESTAURANT WITH GUARANTEED PISSED OFF CUSTOMERS. Congratulations, you win the LOWEST CUSTOMER SERVICE Award across the board. came to this chick fil a on a Tuesday night around 8:20. I mobile ordered my food for the drve thru assuming it would be ready as I drove thru. well it wasn't. I drove up and was greeted by no one. so I proceeded to pull up to where you get your food at the window. but it turns out there is no window. Revolving doors at the entrance, along with the brick siding and fresh roses at each table add a lot of class to this upscale location of the fast-food giant Chick-fil-A. The location is two stories tall, with additional seating on the second floor. During the nicer weather, there is plenty of outside seating available, both on the main floor and up top. The service was fast, especially for such a busy grand opening week. What was most impressive is the drive thru. They have a conveyor system in place, similar to a dry cleaner that goes from the kitchen all the way out to the drive thru. I watched it as I waited in line...very cool. The staff I spoke to were all very helpful and responded with "my pleasure" after every "thank you" I gave them, which, if you've ever been to a Chick-fil-A, it's basically their motto. For those of you who don't enjoy public restrooms and would like more privacy, Chick-fil-A offers a family bathroom with a single toilet and small sink area, as well as a small baby changing platform. I used the sink, which has a single faucet with no hot/cold knobs. This was the only downside as the water didn't warm up and stayed cool for the length that I used it. Check the photos for a picture of one of their private bathroom sinks. Their public bathrooms are more accommodating and spacious. Outside they have a play area for the smallest Chick-fil-A patrons, which consists of three plastic mounds...not much going on, so I'm assuming this is for the under 2 crowd. Overall, the location is a great one as well as the building/service. The food is still fast food, but the atmosphere and decor blow all other nearby fast food choices out of the water. read more

I went to this location after finding out that the Chick-fil-A at North Hills currently closes at 2 in the afternoon. I had arrived at 2:05. The Village District's Chick-fil-A is usually great. They do a bang-up drive-through business, and most days I go through it. But since it was late for lunch, I decided to order inside and eat at one of the tables outside. There was one guy ahead of me in line. He had a complex order, apparently getting food to go for several people. I then placed my order with the only employee taking them inside. My order was simple: sandwich, French fries, and drink. The other guy's order came out quickly. It took about five minutes for mine to be given to me. I found out it had been ready--but they had just placed the bag on the back counter instead of delivering it to me as soon as it was ready. I ate at one of the outdoor tables. Used to come to this Chick-fil-A all the time in undergrad after it opened. It's got two stories which is super cool and makes it unique. It's got outdoor seating and makes for a good place to study. You can sit on the small balcony outside as well. Food is the same as any other Chick-fil-A. It's pretty crowded during peak lunch hours as expected. But service is overall pretty good. Chick-fil-A's have become a very consistent experience across the board, "My Pleasure" being thrown out every time you say thank you, same food, etc. This must be one of the busiest franchises in the state, if not country - I've never seen a fast food restaurant with as much solid business as this one, so as long as the staff keeps up with the core values, it will continue to be busy, I suspect. Politics of the corporate folks aside, it's delicious. Some unique things about this particular location: 3 story - but you can only order food on the main level (no customer access on the bottom floor). 2 drive-thru lanes. 2 kitchens (one seems to be for the interior drive-thru, while the upstairs kitchen services the far exterior drive-thru lane). Lots of staff here, always helpful. Only problems I've had (and it's gotten way way better lately) were several wrong orders in the drive-thru. Now with the addition of staff taking orders at your car, a person confirming the order a few car-lengths away, then picking up food at the windows, it has gotten better. The biggest problem is how popular this location is. It's painful to park, and the drive-thru line can often take 20 minutes to complete with cars backed up into the street - which makes parking even more difficult. They almost need a parking garage (not kidding - it's that busy). I don't know what will happen when the gym opens up next door, sharing the same tiny parking lot. It's unfortunate. So if you're in a rush, and you see incredibly long lines you have 2 options: 1 go elsewhere, 2 use the Chick-fil-A app to order and walk in and pick it up. Three stars is the prefect description. This Chick-fil-A is seriously hit or miss, which is disappointing. Whenever I go in the morning the team is on their A-game. Food is delicious and prepared quickly and team members are great. Then you go in the afternoon or the evening and it's a totally different story. Team members stand around and talk while a line of people wait to order at one open register. The drive thru team members are too busy cleaning their areas to answer the customer at the speaker (just happened tonight, we waited 3 minutes with no answer before driving back around to get in the other line only to see the girls in the window chatting and leaning on the counter instead of taking orders). The whole place is dirty and not pleasant. The catering is the exact same, hit or miss. The first time I ordered catering they were 30 minutes late with it and didn't apologize. The second time, everything was perfect and exactly the way that we asked for it (cookies cut in half, utensils, everything) and it was done before the pickup time. They really need to get it together. Nothing is more annoying than a restaurant that will be the best one day and then the absolute worst the next. Consistency is key in business. read more

But the story doesn't end we find our refuge at Bojangles eating Cajuns galore. Overall, this is a solid Chick-fil-A. I live right down the street so I come here probably more often than I should. When I've dined in or gone through the drive-thru it's been quick and I've gotten the correct order. I absolutely love all the breakfast items, the fries, the sandwiches. The conveyor belt and food elevator are pretty cool contraptions for them to use too. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of two less-than-great experiences I've had. One time, the biscuit in my chicken biscuit was kind of dry, like it had been heated too long. It was not the best, though most times I've been served a delicious and tender biscuit. If I could give it zero stars I would. I ordered breakfast to be delivered, and someone else accidentally grabbed my order from the pick up spot. I would've had no problem waiting a bit more while they remade my order, but the restaurant refused, telling the delivery person to call doordash. I didn't use doordash, I used the chik fil a app for a reason. The restaurant basically ran out the clock until breakfast was over so they wouldn't have to remake my food. Completely skirted their responsibility like my burrito was coming out of their personal funds. Why would I order delivery and then go pick up my own food and then lie about it? For a $6 burrito? Went to the location at 4:00 thinking he would "beat the dinner" crowd.... the store was packed with staff and not giving service but chatting amongst one another... finally they realized there was a customer!
