Loved it. We stopped at Chick-fil-A for lunch on a trip from Palm Desert to Burbank. I wanted a salad and recalled how much I enjoyed my salad at another location months ago. I ordered their Market Salad. It comes with grilled chicken. You can request fried chicken if desired. I like all the fruit in this salad and I like the apple cider vinegar dressing as well. Every single employee I encountered at this location were so cheery and helpful. Only annoying part was some teenagers in a booth eating and being noisy - like teenagers. I was one too once. I've visited this Chick-fil-A several times over the last few years, and while the food consistently tastes great, order accuracy has been an ongoing issue, especially with larger orders. On multiple occasions, sauces, condiments, utensils, and straws have been missing, even after being told everything was included. The most recent visit had none of those items at all, which was especially frustrating given the size of the order. I want to like this location, but after the same problem happening repeatedly, it's hard to trust that orders are being checked properly. Because of that, we've decided not to return. Have you ever been served in a fast food restaurant? I mean really served--food brought to your table, drinks refilled, table cleaned. Yes, I have. I first noticed Chick-fil-A back in 2016, when I drove from downtown Los Angeles along I-10, heading west to east. There was a billboard showing a cow sitting on another cow, painting the slogan "EAT MOR CHIKIN." I thought it was an animal protection slogan promoted by some NGO. After seeing it several times, I realized there was a red line under the slogan. I googled it and eventually found out that the red line was a logo for a fast-food chain selling chicken-based foods called Chick-fil-A. For some reason, I always thought Chick-fil-A was originally from California, but actually it's not. According to Wikipedia, it started in the Atlanta suburb of Hapeville, Georgia. Why did I think it was from California? After a vacation in Las Vegas, I drove all the way to San Bernardino. On a side trip, I visited the Historical McDonald's Museum, and afterward I needed lunch. I got on I-210 from San Bernardino and exited at Ayala Dr, in a small town called Rialto. There, in a plaza between Panda Express and 7-Eleven, was a Chick-fil-A. I saw the cow again, this time sitting on the roof of the restaurant, holding the "EAT MOR CHIKIN" board. Walking in from the side door, I immediately felt it wasn't like a normal fast-food restaurant. The tables, chairs, seating, and atmosphere all felt different from McDonald's or KFC. I still placed my order at the counter. Since I didn't order a drink--I already had my giant coffee thermos--the cashier kindly offered me water. She gave me a blue table tent sign and told me my food would be served at the table. After just a few minutes, less than five, a young staff member brought my tray of food. The tray had the familiar fast-food setup: paper liner, boxes, dipping sauce packets. It reminded me I was indeed in a fast-food place. Several staff members in Chick-fil-A uniforms walked around; one noticed I didn't have a cup and offered me water again. Another even came to ask how the food was, like in a sit-down restaurant. Warm and kind, but also a little unusual. I ordered the limited-time Spicy Pretzel Cheddar Club. Although the bun looked like a round pretzel with a cross cut on top, the texture was nothing like pretzel--it was just a normal burger bun, soft and fluffy. The chicken sandwich tasted good, with just a hint of spice, but far too mild. By the way, the Dijon mustard packet was very hard to open--no tear notch on the edge, so I had to bite it open. I also had Chick-n-Strips, three slices of fried chicken breast. I had never tried this before; in Chinese cuisine, chicken breast is usually considered the worst part of the chicken, especially in soups. Honestly, it was much better than I expected--tender and moist, not as dry as I imagined. The Sriracha dipping sauce was a little too sweet, but still tasty. One thing confused me: why was the Sriracha box green? Isn't Sriracha usually a red hot sauce? Service was great, food was tasty, the environment welcoming, and the atmosphere pleasant. I don't understand why this restaurant only has 451 reviews with a 2.5 rating on Yelp, while on Google Maps it has 3,165 reviews and a 4.3 rating. Usually, restaurants have similar ratings across both platforms, so why is this one so different? I also checked other Chick-fil-A locations in Arcadia and Pasadena, and noticed the same pattern: their Yelp ratings were much lower than their Google Maps ratings, and the number of reviews was also significantly fewer on Yelp compared to Google Maps. I get this is California and the governor signed the bill that people need to make $20 plus an hour and the Governor also has destroyed the oil industry. But I just paid $29.91 for two sandwiches and two medium fries. But the thing that made me sick was when my sandwich fell and I actually saw what was on it and how much was on it. Maybe 2 oz of chicken, 1 quarter piece of bacon, some cheese, two tiny pieces of tomato. A bun. The cost maybe a dollar. With the potatoes and the paper it was wrapped in $1.30 which is an insult because I just bought chicken at 1.99 a pound. A sandwich used to have a whole breast on it and the cost was less than half. This is supposed to be a time saver, but when you pay 3 times as much for almost nothing then that's an insult and I just won't do it anymore and frankly neither should you. It's going to die anyway. Jenny is AMAZING. I came in today with my 2 little ones. The service was amazing. The food came out quickly, they initially forgot the fries for my kids meals, not a big deal because staff is on it. They walk around and we're at my table checking on us before I had the chance to get up and notify them myself. They brought out the fries no problem. Food was great as usual. We stayed about an hour to allow the kids to play in the play zone. We ordered 3 cones for later, and Jenny overheard me telling my kids I was going to get them and right away offered to bring them over without being asked. 3X it's happened that I've placed an online order for curbside or drive thru and I'm missing items. I believe they're trying to move customers thru so fast that they're just missing stuff and it's not just this location for me, it's also been the Ranch Cucamonga location. It is a waste of time to go there, get home and have to go back. I just didn't bother this time... next time IF I do come back, I'll just go inside and order... AND check my order there.... oh and don't bother trying to put in a complaint online, it just directs you to call or go back to the restaurant in question. Across the street is another shopping plaza with additional restaurants and retail stores. Weekends are crazy busy, so are meal times. This chick fil a runs smoothly, the lines constantly moving. I pulled into the parking lot at 9:58pm under the impression that they close at 11pm. The employee finished the order with the car before me and then came over to let me know they're closing early at 10pm tonight because they're installing a new system. The frustrating part was that when I tried to back out of the line the employee and a coworker were standing right by the rear end of my car. I put the car in reverse hoping that the brake lights would give them the memo that I'm trying to leave. I ended up just pulling through because they were not moving or paying attention. **Amazing Service Right Before Closing!** I had an absolutely incredible experience at the Chick-fil-A located at HWY 210 & Ayala Drive, FSU 03997 in Rialto, CA, and I just had to share it! My wife and I placed an online order a few minutes before closing, excited to grab a quick dinner. We ordered a spicy pimento chicken sandwiches, two orders of waffle fries, mac and cheese, a 4-piece chicken strip, and two iced teas. We arrived at the restaurant, parked in the pick-up spot, and grabbed our bag, eager to dig into our meal. Before pulling out of the parking lot, we decided to double-check the order--and we were glad we did. It turned out our chicken strip were missing, and the sides were mixed up wrong. Even though it was so close to closing time, we spoke to the initial attendant to see if they could fix the mistake. That's when Eric, one of the team leaders, stepped in. From the moment we explained the situation, he was attentive, professional, and quick to make it right. Eric apologized sincerely and reassured us that they would correct everything. Despite the fact that they were about to close, he treated us with such care, as if it were the middle of the day. He immediately had fresh spicy sandwiches made, fixed the sides and ensured everything was exactly what we had ordered. To make up for the inconvenience, Eric even went back in and spoke to the kitchen to find the last few items that were needed although the kitchen was closed and all the food were no longer being dropped in the cooker. Not once did we feel like we were a bother or that the staff was rushing to finish up for the night. What really impressed me was Eric's genuine kindness and dedication to customer service. After everything was fixed, I was so grateful for how he handled the situation that I offered him a $20 tip as a token of appreciation. But, true to Chick-fil-A's exceptional standards, Eric smiled and politely refused, saying, "There's no need to tip me--I'm just doing my job and making sure we take care of you. That's what we're here for." His words were a reminder of why Chick-fil-A stands out from other fast food restaurants. We've been coming into this branch coz it's close to my house and this Vlad who takes out orders from drive thru came out when we're in line for breakfast and went to the other lane and bypass our car and the other 2 cars in front of us who has been waiting for so long before the other cars whom he got orders first before us. He said it's just whichever lane they send them out but we've been waiting there before the other cars. I just don't think it's fair.
