Running errands around the neighborhood and the long awaited Chick-fil-A has finally opened its doors! The restaurant is located on the northwest corner of Hwy 211 and Potranco in far west San Antonio. Placed my breakfast order for carry out using the app and all I had to do was arrive to the mobile pick up area portion of front counter. The employees immediately acknowledged me and were very friendly. Soon after my order was ready in about 5 minutes from checking in with the app and front counter employees. The place was bustling with many employees on deck to fulfill orders and keep the new Chick-fil-A looking clean! The restaurant is the modern 2023 Chick-fil-A design full slide door for drive thru, new, bright white and red color schemes throughout the restaurant! Now for the food, once I taken my food home the order was fresh and accurate what I expect from Chick fil A ordered the Sausage Egg and Cheese biscuit combo with hashbrowns nicely crisp and golden and iced vanilla coffee which needed to be more sweeter in my opinion. My wife ordered the spicy chicken biscuit hash browns and orange juice. Overall great location, friendly staff, quick service, and up to Chick-fil-A standards I am impressed given it is the location's first week! Until next time Chick-fil-A Hwy 211 and Potranco, welcome to the neighborhood, I'm happy to finally have one about 5 minutes away vs the 20 minute drive to Loop 1604!

Paid for 8, gave me 4 and crumbs

Could not ask for better service, food and hospitality. Even has a small kids play area for my toddler.

Some restaurants feed you. Tripoli's transports you. From…read morethe moment you walk in, the space does something to you -- warm lighting, tufted banquettes, burgundy velvet chairs with gold legs, and a ceiling panel with intricate geometric lattice work straight out of a Moroccan riad. It doesn't feel like a strip mall restaurant. It feels intentional. The pastry case alone deserves its own review. Piped butter cookies, rose-dotted squares dusted with cardamom, delicate filled rolls -- it's the kind of display that makes you order dessert before you've even sat down. And then the food. The chicken shawarma bowl is not playing around -- seasoned chicken, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, creamy garlic sauce over a bed of greens, finished with cracked pepper. Every bite is layered and bold. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-fork and just appreciate it. What sets Tripoli's apart isn't just the food or the ambiance. It's that the whole experience feels curated. Like someone who actually loves this culture built this place and meant every single detail. San Antonio has been sleeping on this gem. Wake up!!

I had a hard time walking out without calling for the manager or owner. I would like to start my…read morepost with the positive so here it goes. The ambiance was great, everything from the decorative rugs, Arab writing on the wall, tagine pottery and brass crafts were perfectly displayed. The tabbouleh salad was very tasty, it had the right amount of ingredients making it pretty as well as colorful placed in the neat brass metal bowl. Now with the things that require immediate remedial attention: 1. The burger was overrated, overcooked and dry. 2. The chick pea salad lacked chick peas, dressing, onions and feta cheese. 3. The lamb Kofta plate was prepared right however, it was not enough meat for the price and the cream sauce tasted like straight butter with a hint of garlic. The pita bread was lukewarm and looked like it had been unwrapped, quartered and thrown in a microwave for 30 seconds prior to serving it. 4. Drinks Ordered: The Cafe' Arabia was very tasty BUT, I didn't get it until we were almost done with our meal. We ordered drinks when we were first seated so that was a big red flag. My wife also ordered the Moroccan mint teapot and she didn't get it until after I got my coffee. I told the barista/waiter to cancel it when I got my coffee but he said it was also ready for us and could put it in a to-go cup for her. That kind of defeated the whole experience of drinking tea while waiting for our meal. 5. The service was really slow. Took over 15 minutes to get our (tap) waters and 20 minutes for our food when we were the only ones in the restaurant until we had placed our order. 6. The waitress needs some serious people skills and bussing training to know how to serve food and drinks. She touched the tops of the glasses her fingers. She didn't greet us and practically dropped the plates on the table when she brought them out. To add insult to injury, she put the handheld pay device on the table without asking us if we wanted or needed anything else. My kids wanted to try out some desserts, so luckily for us, the nearby HEB has plenty to offer. I had high hopes for this place because of what the owner posted on Instagram and it is so close to our neighborhood. Guess we will have to continue driving further into the city to other Mediterranean and Middle-Eastern restaurants that have better food and service.

It's the marinade, and the care they take in grilling it just right. We started off with pupusas. They were fantastic. The midget had the bean and cheese one, and the adults had chicharron. These pupusas were cooked perfectly. They didn't fall apart, and they put in more filling than other places. We are not too familiar with this cuisine, but man we were missing out! They served the pupusas with this type of coleslaw that was more tart than sweet. It was so good with the pupusas. We are not big fans of normal close slaw in our family. Yet this was a big hit everyone! We ordered the family parillada for us. Let me tell you, I'm a huge proponent of value. This was value PLUS! It came with lots of food! It came with the chicken of course, but also with some very tender and flavorful carne asada. It came on a bed of onion! But get this...there was more meat than onion! They give you HOMEMADE corn tortillas!!!!! Yes!!!! Plenty of sides and tortillas! We washed it all down with horchatas which were amazing too. Now I say not every place is perfect. The rice freak did not enjoy the rice. It was just ok for us. I can see why. I think it's a cultural thing, and the way they prepare it is not what we are accustomed to. It looked better than it tasted, it wasn't horrible but we could've done without it. Also there was a pink/orange sauce that was served that we did not get. It wasn't spicy, and it wasn't good. Didn't understand it. The beans were great, but again lacked a little spice. I know we may be biased to spice or heat, but a couple of jalapeños would've put the beans in another stratosphere. Otherwise they were executed perfectly! The green sauce and the coleslaw(it's probably called something else, forgive the ignorance) were the stars! We also appreciated how well the food was packaged, and they don't use cheap packaging for the sides! This was a wonderful experience for us after a great service at church! HIGHLY recommend and we will be back for sure!
