Five stars all around. We eat here quite frequently and we always use the app to order our food. Whenever we pull in through the drive thru, there's always at least 2 people taking orders trying to keep the line going through. The members of Chick-fil-A are always so professional and courteous following their farewell signature with "my pleasure". We've only eaten in the dining room twice, but both times, everything was nice and clean, along with the bathrooms. That's always an excellent sign!! We haven't been to many other locations, but we can see why there's always such a long line through Santee's drive thru. read more

Ordered a "spicy chicken sandwich" received a plain one, Mac & Cheese was room temperature at best/ slightly old tasting, & my fries were somewhat okay. The best part of my meal was the Lemonade unfortunately. I don't know if it was because I came in at 8:45 pm; but multiple people ordered before me and I received my food before all them. That was the first red flag for me ... we can only assume, they served the older food to a younger kid that wouldn't complain 9 times out of ten? This was our very first visit to a Chick-fil-A. We liked it. Service was good and fast. Our orders were correct. We were greeted with smiles. I had a great salad and a few chicken nuggets. The salad was really good with lots of spicy chicken and a nice creamy salsa dressing. There were lot of goodies to top the salad with. The wife had a spicy chicken sandwich. She said it was ok, nothing better than other chicken sandwiches she's had in the past. But, hold the phone! They have, in season, fresh peach milkshakes! They were outstanding! My go to with kids and weekday dinners. Mobile app is easy and they have good parking space for your mobile orders. This is one of the Chick-fil-As that always gives me the correct order every time I order there. Great staff, but you should not go there during lunch time drive thru. mobile app would be easier since the line is long during lunch. Even when the line is long I'd say the most you are waiting is 10-12 mins tops. They are doing construction inside this Chick-fil-A so I recommend just doing the mobile app or park near Lowe's to eat on their patio since it's open. Overall great place to eat! read more

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this location due to an employee named Taylor. I don't like saying anything bad about anyone but this was ridiculous. My father ordered first and Taylor was very nice trying to be helpful but was a little too helpful. Giving my Father instructions like the first day of kindergarten on how to put dressing on a salad and eat it as if he didn't understand how to do so. Once I ordered, I asked for a Large Original Cold Brew Ice Coffee. He immediately puts milk and Vanilla Sweetener which I had to stop him and tell him that I only want an original black cold brew without sugar or cream. He throws the plastic cup away and starts over. I told him thanks and that I do NOT need a lid. As he walks over to give me the 2nd coffee he pumps a splash of "original sweetener" and I couldn't believe it!! I asked why he did that and he looked at me like I was the idiot for asking him .... after I just told him to give it to me so he wouldn't waste another plastic cup... I said no lid again and he still offered it to me.... I again said "no thanks save the plastic" and he threw it away in the trash!!!! I again asked why he just did that and he looked at me again like I was stupid and said he already touched it. I was very frustrated at how oblivious and ignorant this kid Taylor was. As usual friendly service and fresh food. My favorite here is the Cobb salad. If you haven't tried their salads you are missing out. Delicious and fresh. Here is my sad long awaited rough review for Chik fil A and in short Chik fil A sucks. Thats about it. Way overrated, wayyy overpriced, does not look like the advertising at all. The food is all miniature sized as if it was made for babies. The macaroni was not even mid, and the brownie was a sad and pathetic put together of gharadelli brownie mix. My biggest complaint is that my frozen coffee was in a kids cup and apparently that is the only size you get for $6.35 so absolutely probably will be a few years before im forced to go here again read more

Just got back from the drive thru and I would like to take the time and recognize a good employee Josh CFA not only was he welcoming and super friendly he just has a great personality overall and definitely knows how to treat a customer . Today is June 6th 2022 I ordered Chic-fil-A through Door Dash . It was almost $50 dollars. I received sauce a chicken sandwich , small Mac and cheese and 8 piece chicken nugget. They did not include my 12 piece chicken meal . The supervisor Jenna offered no help at all . No refund , No email coupon , nothing . She told me it was a door dash issue and I should call them . That is not a supervisor correcting the problem that occurred . She passed it off for someone else to fix . I once ordered through Bjs and a salad was forgotten on my order. The manager got on the phone and had another salad delivered with an apology and a coupon for one free dessert . I will escalate this to a manager . I have had good experiences here and bad. Today was a bad one that pissed me off. We ordered our food and my wife ordered grilled nuggets. Before we found a seat, our food was done. The nice lady followed us to a seat and gave us our food. Good so far. Once my wife opened her food, her nuggets were fried. We take them back and ask for grilled. They throw away the nuggets, instead of giving them to us. My son and I then finish our meal before her nuggets arrived. No compensation no nothing. Whatever. Then I walk to the front to get a refill on my drink. My lid is off and ready to be filled. As I walk up, 3 employees look at me and continue talking. My 1st time at this Chick-Fil-A was back in April 2021. I live in Rancho Bernardo and I drove down to Santee to get together with a longtime childhood friend of mine that I haven't seen in about 10 Years. After I picked him up, we were hungry so we went to Chick-Fil-A to grab a bite to eat. My friend and I did Drive-Thru cause we didn't want to order and eat inside. The emplyoee that took our order was really nice. We did 2 sepreate orders but what I found strange is that instead of my friend and I having our names on our orders, the employee that took our order told us: "So, unfortunately...we cannot do that cause we are not allowed to but if use a name, we will just print the name and do 1 and 2". We used my name so they did "Saul 1" and "Saul 2" so that was that and that is what was printed. We pulled foward and waited to get to the window, Once we got to the Drive-Thru window, we got our food and our sauces and my friend and I asked for extra sauces so I asked for more and we got some more but they only gave us 3 of what we asked but the car in front of us before I pulled up, they got a handful of sauces so I thought that was strange but I didn't really think anything of it. Before we drove away, I asked for a water cup with no ice, I got the cup and we drove off and my friend and I went to a nearby park to eat. The workers were nice so that's good. When we went to the park and opened our food, our orders were correct but however, they messed mine up. Instead of Large Waffle Fries, they gave me a size Medium but that didn't bother me. I asked for no tomato on my sandwich and my sandwich had tomato but it had no pickles. I LOVE PICKLES so I was upset about that and It just had cheese, lettuce and tomato. No pickles on the sandwich. I threw out the tomato and ate my sandwich with just the cheese and lettuce. After I ate my sandwich, I took a sip of my "water cup" and it wasn't water they gave me since it had a bubbly texture. I took the lid off and smelled it and took another sip. It seems they gave me 7-Up soda instead of water so I dumped that out but at least I still had my milkshake so I was able to drink that. Other than that, that was it. My 1st time here was an okay experience. If I am ever down in Santee again and want food and I happen to go to Chick-Fil-A , I'll be willing to give it another shot. I'm just hoping they don't mess up my order next time and hopefully I can get more sauces than what I got the 1st time I came here. read more

" Super Nice Employees & Tasty Food " My wife and I visited the Chick-fil-A in Santee, Ca. today and had a great time. It was our first visit to a Chick-fil-A restaurant anywhere and we were very surprised and pleased. We had been to a San Diego Padres baseball game during the day and because the Padres made a double play( which they actually made 3 in the game), you can take your ticket to a Chick-fil-A for a FREE sandwich. Jaclyn the Shift Lead employee helped us, and was very nice as she answered all of our questions about the menu, and put in our order. We ordered the original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich. The sandwich comes with delicious pickles and there are all kinds of different sauces you can put on the bun, and the crispy but moist breaded chicken breast. We also order some crispy waffle fries to share. The sandwich was very tasty and filling. Jenny a Chick-fil-A employee was so nice as she came by our table many times to help us in any way, and had a great personality. Krista the Chick-fil-A Assistant Director, also came by our table a few times to see how we were doing. Chick-fil-A also has a nice area for Children to play inside the back of the restaurant. I saw employees working outside in the take out ordering line, which was packed we cars. I saw employees helping and carrying bags outside for guest to their cars. You never see that ! The food was pretty good, though I have had better Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches at other Chick-fil-A locations. The variety of sauces is still awesome.
