I've been to this location a few times now and really don't see what the hype is all about. The sandwiches I've had have been just ok, nothing to get excited about. I honestly think the KFC sandwich is better at a lower price point. Employees have always been friendly and the dining area is always busy, but clean. They do have very good shakes though. I prefer the cookies and cream and my wife really likes the frosted coffee.

$5 for one tiny piece of chicken on a plain biscuit is a total ripoff. What would Jesus charge?

Lotsa parking, friendly staff and close to Home Depot. For the early morning crowd, the sandwich is still available just with a biscuit instead of a bun. The place was super clean and tidy with no loud music blaring which enabled us to easily chat.

Me and my friends are getting full

The food tastes good. The restrooms smell good. The stuff works fast. .................... .................... ....................

Juicy, tasty premium chicken sandwich, and the kale salad is to die for!! This is from the Missoula restaurant.

Overpriced sandwiches. Decent, but on par with Arbies or Wendy's chicken sandwiches which are half the cost

We went to Cascadia Public House on a Sunday with pretty high expectations after reading so many…read moregood reviews, but unfortunately it was a letdown from start to finish. The biggest issue right away was how long the food took. It felt like we were waiting forever, and by the time it finally came out, it definitely didn't feel worth it. We started with the pretzel, which honestly was nothing like a pretzel. It tasted more like glorified fried dough and didn't have that classic pretzel texture or flavor at all. For drinks, mine was way too strong and just didn't taste good. It wasn't balanced at all and ended up being hard to even enjoy. For my main, I ordered the Cascadia burger medium, but it came out clearly well done and overcooked. On top of that, the egg on it was severely undercooked.. some of the whites were still clear and slimy, which completely ruined it for me. I had also heard good things about the mac and cheese, so I gave it a try, but that was another disappointment. It was bland and runny, and even after adding salt and pepper, it still had no real flavor. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich, which wasn't terrible, but it was definitely on the dry side. They were also out of fries, so he had to get fruit instead, which was kind of disappointing. Overall, the food took way too long, the quality didn't match the price, and the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

They are like overly fancy, to the max pickle. I'm not saying it's a pickle, because they are not "pickled", but, but, how do I say it....fresh, crunchy, tasty, with a good "kick". The flavor is abundant. The pepper lingers on your tongue after you finish. Glory! Try it with a beer. I'm telling you. You will be satisfied with this starter. This is all I ate. I'm losing weight. Have to look good for my new lady. BTW- great ambiance. Large hole-in-wall. Dimly lit. People talking. Not loud. Good energy. Lots of different kind of whiskey. And other spirits. 4 good beers on tap. Several imported or mico-brew beers. Full bar. Wine, etc. Staff is pleasant and efficient. I had my dish 3 minutes after ordering. Like busy bees. Kitchen is wide open for viewing. I like that touch. TV at the bar. Two high chair sections, one at the bar. Lots of seating. Good temperature in the restaurant. I like this place. I got the Blackened shrimp bowl with added Avocado ($17ish?) and greens base. I loved the shrimp- but the avocado was sort of brown and the greens were wilted romaine or iceberg. Finally, a place that has HEALTHY, CLEAN, and MACRO friendly options! Not only are they clean, healthy and macro friendly ingredients, they are also QUICK. The inside is bright and clean and the decor is tasteful. I love it. I have tried just about all of their bowls and there isn't one I don't like. The service is always timely, the employees are very sweet and accommodating, and the food, again, is so yummy and not too expensive. This person who said they got "maybe a cup of food for $42.00" is exaggerating. The bowls are usually between $14 and $18 depending on any substitutions or additions I make and it is plenty food. I am rarely able to finish it in one sitting. Some people have mentioned the bowls being dry without an extra side of sauce (so order an extra side of sauce.....?), I don't entirely agree, but I think people need to remember that this place is all about healthy eating. Drowning the bowls in sauce, changes the calories and macros in the bowls. It's like when you eat a salad, but then smother it in ranch dressing. You might as well have had the cheeseburger, because It's no longer as healthy as you want it to be. I think it's important for people to remember this is healthy eating. This is not smothered in sauce, cooked in butter, full of preservatives eating, it's healthy! This is what good wholesome clean food tastes like! It's good and good for you! Someone else said the mango salsa was cold. I don't think I have ever had heated up or warm mango salsa, and I'm not sure I'd want it, so I don't think this is something to hold against them either. I have had the blackened shrimp with mango salsa bowl many times. It's actually one of our favorites! I usually want extra mango salsa, because the combination with the lime creme and the blackened shrimp is perfection! It's so good! I love their food and I love that we have them as an option in Spokane now! We can finally get a quick healthy meal that we can feel good about! I will keep going and keep trying everything you make! Just tried the new Miso Ginger bowl last week and it was AMAZING.

A deeper dive showed a good possibility of gluten free options, so I made the reservation. I was in town on a Monday, just after Hoopfest, but they were the kind of busy where a reservation should always be made I think. My table was ready and I sat in the bar at a high top table. I think I would choose "in the dining room" next time. My server was friendly and quick, as well as knowledgeable about gluten free options. There is even a separate menu that lays out the dishes that are already gf or could be made to be. Love this, always. I ordered the summer salad to start. It was amazing. Flavorful. Fresh. The mint wasn't overpowering, the watermelon was the perfect ripeness. It was so good. I would try to recreate it but it was done so well, and I know I couldn't hit that dressing in the same way. Get it while you can. For my main, I had ordered the scallops in my brain before I even arrived. The risotto was a little soupy, but the flavor was SO good. The corn came through and it went so well with the scallops. The tomatoes were quite over salted, but as long as I didn't eat them alone, it was alright. The scallops were perfectly cooked and I felt like the portion was appropriately sized for the dish, even though there were only 4. My server really made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was busy but the booths looked like they could be cozy. The prices were on the higher end. But for a special occasion, it was worth it. I really wished I'd had room for dessert. I will surely go back the next time I am in town.

First off, I was looking for an authentic Napoli style pizza. Like a fresh red sauce from crushed tomatoes and a beautiful chewy, pillowy, yet charred crust. The verdict: Wooden City is the winner! The crust is really really good! The sauce is a bright beautiful tomato sauce that looks like crushed tomatoes however, the sauce was lacking flavor:( I would give this pizza a 3 out of 5. The crust is a 4 1/2 star but the sauce lacking in flavor..brought it down to a 3. Cute place, very pleasant friendly staff..way friendlier vibe than Barrelhouse. The boys are easy on the eyes for younger girls on the hunt! Lmao Don't bother with the Margherita pizza at Barrelhouse. Thank God I only paid $12 for the Margherita Monday deal of half off! The crust was horrible! Dominos has better crust! Costco pizza's had a better crust! The sauce has flavor, very garlicky like fresh garlicky but more of a paste with a load of oregano in it. The cheese didn't have that fresh taste I was hoping for. However, they are known for their Detroit pizza's which I haven't tried but if it's the same sauce, I would pass. Not saying it's bad but it's just not MY cup of tea whether it's for a Detroit style or any pizza. Now you don't have to guess which place has a better Margherita pizza. I wouldn't even pay $12 at Barrelhouse for a marg. Would I come back, yes, if I were in my 20's.. lol but since I'm older and the food is more important to me...no...:/ But hey, maybe their other pizza's are better! I can see a salty pepperoni being good!
