    Chick-fil-A Chick-n-Minis

The chicken was raw. Wish me luck. I definitely ate raw chicken today. Thank you for ruining my day

My mother came in tonight and picked up a take out order for me and brought it home. The sweet tea I got had a used MATCH that was at the bottom of the cup. I took a sip and almost choked on this match at first I thought it was a tea leaf but then I got a paper towel and squeezed it and wiped it and soot was all over the paper towel. This is absolutely disgusting and a disgrace meanwhile I called the manager and they told me "You can have a free meal" Please don't give these a-holes business. I'm currently at an albatross of whether I should file a lawsuit, I have never been in a situation like this before.

We live nearby and continue to give this location a chance. We really enjoy Chick-fil-A breakfast but they cannot get it right. The bread is always hard, nuggets on minis are definitely from the previous day and today we just got an egg white grill on a sandwich bun (instead of English muffin) and no cheese, without them mentioning they're out of either. Very disappointing time after time.

It seems like the only time I crave breakfast from Chic-Fil-A is on, of course, a Sunday. BUT once in a blue moon, I long for a Chicken Biscuit sandwich and actually get to the restaurant before 10:30A. To my regret and craving disappointment, this location missed the mark. My chicken was cold, and about the size of 2 small nuggets - I kid you not! On top of that, the biscuit was hard as a rock and I ended up tossing it. I reached out to their customer service and they didn't even so much offer to replace my sandwich! Now I've lived all over the south and my husband and I have enjoyed this chain time and time again. But we live out on the island now and this is the closest location to us. They usually miss the mark and we usually overlook it because OVERALL, we admire the brand and enjoy the food. Now you may be wondering - why is this woman whining about a darn chicken sandwich. Because I paid for it, and wanted it, and expect restaurants to deliver on their service guarantee. Chic-Fil-A sets the precedent for fast food chains all over, simply because their employees are educated on being kinder and providing the best service possible. Great service doesn't leave room for scrap sandwiches or cold chicken. Over the last year, this location in particular has gotten sloppy in its service and delivery on its promise. End rant.

Super friendly staff. The girl at the drive-thru took our order quickly and helped us with and questions we had. Very conveniently located across from St Pete Beach so be sure to get a large styrofoam cup with a cold drink if you're going to be sitting in the sun.

Soda down the side of my freshly washed car. Perfect way to end the evening ugh

Go for a soda...end up needing a car wash instead! So frustrating!!!! It's such a simple thing to avoid...laziness pure and simple. This isn't the first time this has happened here.

My wife and I dined here for a late lunch and the weather was so nice we sat in the covered patio. We had our two puppies and as long as we sat outside. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end and I'm always impressed with good service first and foremost. My wife had the lobster grilled cheese with fries and her beverage was a sangria. My wife said that both her entree and drink were amazing. I had the soup of the day which was clam chowder and my entree was soft shell crab sandwich with a fruit cup. My meal was also amazing but next time I'll request my crab not to be fried lightly. I just had a coke as my beverage. Our server was "Angie" and I'd request her again but to be honest the entire staff was very friendly. The decor was really nice with an old ship theme. I would definitely recommend this place and we will definitely return.

The crostini could have used more butter. Entrees were good, not exceptional. We had a special, chicken piccata and a Nicoise. For dessert one couple had an apple cobbler which had way too much cake and not enough apple. Tasty but again, not great. When the bill came, both the appetizer and the dessert were split when one couple oredeeed and ate both. It wasn't enough to complain about but was a clear sign that the server didn't listen when he was told how to prepare the checks. It is a cute place with outdoor seating if you don't mind busy traffic zipping by. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the food.

Wow. I expected more from a place rated 4 stars. To be…read morespecific we went to the beach bar because the restaurant wasn't open yet. The very first issue was parking. Parking is minimum $50 a day + fees. A cocktail? For an hour? Haha no. I'm being mildly disingenuous. The bar staff (and likely restaurant staff) will give you a QR code to validate all $58 of your parking. But it made me acutely miss a time when you could just park and patronize an establishment. Just don't forget to validate your parking, cuz they sure didn't ask preemptively. They were celebrating a 3-day grand reopening when we went on Saturday. There was *one* artisan in their market space. The music was pumping loud enough to not be able to converse. Although it drew a crowd of younger folks, there was not much to behold from the "grand" reopening. Not even s cost of paint. The beach bar may not have been part of the sprucing up idk, I didn't see anything worth celebrating. I meant to look at the size of the cocktail cup that we got (small), but $13-14 for a cocktail is highway robbery for the end result. And $18 for 6 wings ($3 a wing) was a little disappointing. I expected better of a Hilton adjoined restaurant. No one part was terrible. It was just the way they matched up - loud, expensive, small portions. If you're loud maybe you're cheap and tasty. If you're expensive, maybe you're fast and delicious. This was all the worst parts of a bar that doesn't care about its patrons' economics. A bar that wants to serve tourists with mediocrity and move on to the next crop of people who will never be there again. If you're a tourist it'll probably be fine, if overpriced. If you're a local, don't bother. To be fair, we should ask if there was anything good. hm ... no. We won't be returning. 3 stars is probably generous.

The reason I took off 1/2 star is there is no indoor seating to speak of. There is a shelf along the wall inside or sitting outside in two different picnic table type areas. I was expecting a sit down restaurant so I was slightly disappointed. In the summer with high temperatures that's just not an option for me. Although I did notice a lot of people were taking carry out. The first thing you notice as you walk in the door is the lovely smell of all the fresh ingredients . It makes your mouth water! I've heard a lot of good things about V Roll from people whose opinion I respect, so my expectations were high. I chose four custom made spring rolls ($13.50) with lemongrass chicken, cilantro, cucumber, bean sprouts, and lettuce. These rolls were made with rice paper, which really lets you taste the ingredients. These were easily the largest and best tasting spring rolls I've ever had. 4 rolls gets you three dipping sauces: I chose peanut, garlic lemon, and angry dragon. All three sauces are very tasty, but the rolls are so large that you run out of sauce before you run out of roll (I suggest getting extra sauce at .50). My Wing Man Gary (USAF Pilot, retired) chose a house rice bowl ($13.50) with lemongrass pork. He reports that It was tasty and good value for the money. Gary is a self proclaimed expert on rice. He was stationed in Japan for a few years and he considers Japanese rice to be the best rice available and he claims that V Roll is using Japanese rice. We both tried the 3 Daughters Raspberry Lemonade Cider ($6.00). We agreed it was more cider than raspberry, but still a delicious drink. I usually don't tip in restaurants that don't have table service, but the 2 ladies that assembled my rolls were cheerful and pleasant, they explained all the choices of ingredients, and made suggestions that were spot on additions to the taste sensation so I had to plop a $5 bill into their tip jar. If you can handle the high temperatures, you can sit down and eat. But in my next visit I'll be getting my food to go. Delicious and healthy food at reasonable prices makes V Roll a great addition to the Gulfport restaurant scene.
