I work in healthcare and stopped for breakfast at the drive thru on my way home. There were no masks on any of the employees. A coworker had emailed corporate and was told they test their employees before every shift. Are you serious? How do they have access and waste the resources when our hospitals have a shortage of the rapid tests? How do they justify the importance of their employees being tested without being sick and some patients with symptoms having to wait 3 days for results. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Ordered at the counter and sit down waiting for our food...and waited and waited. People that ordered after us was getting their orders, and they ordered the same things we did. New owner is awful. Has zero clue how to run a business or treat customers with any respect. Took 15 minutes to bring my food, which was then cold then the owner blamed me for his staffs massive incompetence. Offered zero apology and never ever even asked me what happened. I have given this location countless chances, yet their horrible service and disgusting lack of care for the store has never changed. Today I went inside and ordered breakfast. There was one person ahead of me in line and I was served quickly. I sat down after ordering and waited 10 minutes for my food. While I was waiting the young lady who had taken my order sat down and to eat her own breakfast. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes, so it took a total of 15 minutes for my food to come up. By the time I went back to sit down the employee who had taken my order and who had been eating breakfast finished her meal and was already gone. On the way out I slipped on their greasy floor. I didn't even bother to mention it to them today, as I just wanted to get out of there. I have previously complained to management about their floor being greasy at least three times in the past. On one occasion I even demonstrated how greasy it was by literal skating across their floor on the grease. I was able to travel about 20 feet just sliding my rubber soled shoes on the grease. It's as if they mop the floor with grease from the frier. read more

Yet another visit to Chick Fil A in Surprise AZ has me scratching my head and wondering why I keep trying to get the items I order and pay for at this location. I suppose it's the dim memory of their success when I first moved to Surprise six years ago, when the employees were happy, helpful and proud of their product. Well, those days are long gone and every single visit is guaranteed to upset me, picky guest that I am. My diction is clear and I don't have a mouthful of marbles, but here are just a few of my last order problems at this location. Ordered fries with no salt. Got salty fries. Pretty much every time. Ordered iced tea unsweetened. Got lukewarm tea with no ice. Twice in the last week! Ordered iced tea with 10% diet lemonade. Got 90% regular lemonade which sent my blood sugar to triple its normal level. Ordered waffle fries with no salt. Got hash brown pellets coated in salt. Ordered chicken wrap. No chicken in it. Attempted to redeem free sandwich coupon in drive thru. Was told it was only for guests who came in. Thanks, I am disabled and can't just stroll in with my oxygen and walker. Ordered 2 chicken strips for my cat. Got one. He was quite disappointed. And the saga continues. Truth is, I have no idea why I bother here, why I call the restaurant to report in, or why I let the managers know if there's a problem. The disdain and disinterest on their faces is crystal clear. So perhaps this round up is for the other guests who come here and cannot quite believe it, either. Lately I have continuously gotten bad orders, I'm not sure there is new staff or management but I've noticed in the last month or 2, my orders are not how I specified or asked for. Missing items, cold and dry French fries, incorrect sides and or toppings. I'm just over it. And the young ladies in the window are not friendly AT ALL, I've asked to get a drink change and they didn't have to say anything , their facial expressions said it all. I normally don't leave reviews let alone one with a complaint l. I worked a 12 hour shift and was ready to go home. I decided to get some food I normally don't get chick fil a because this location is always busy. When I get to chick fil a I did a curbside pickup. They start serving the cars behind me. After 20 minutes of waiting in line they park me in a spot. Another 20 minutes go by and the long line had already been served twice and 2 lines of curbside pickup already went around. I called inside no answer. I get back in the curbside line and decide to call again. They answered this time and my order was in carry out all along. They apologized for the mix up and made me fresh food and gave me 2 cards for next time and a brownie. I understand things happened was just a irritated that I had to wait that long. I do not recommend going to this Chick-fil-A it was 9:11 PM and I was a paying customer I asked if I could walk in and go to the bathroom as they were stacking chairs because their closing time was 10 PM and they had told me no even though I was a paying customer and they were all still working inside. Do not order online or go if you're in a rush or just expect decent service. I placed an order online because it was late and I was driving from far away so I wanted to just stop and grab my 5 year old some food but make it quick. Instead when I show up after parking and coming inside I am told I have to go through the drive through to get my order. Then when I got to the drive through the employees were running around the parking lot screaming and throwing trash. They were so busy doing this that they never came up to my car and completely skipped me and went onto the cars behind me. I had to yell out of my window multiple times to get someone's attention to finally come and process my order. I just went to the Chick-fil-A off of Grand and Bell Avenue in surprise Arizona. I pulled into the parking lot at 2:59 PM as they were allowing people to enter the drive-through, I noticed the line was long, so I opted to go inside. I reached the front door and it's locked with no sign with staff moving around outside. I ask why the door is locked and they tell me they are closed but the drive-through is open at this point. It is 3 PM. I pull my car around to go through the drive-through and theyve now blocked the drive-through off at 3:01 PM with a car parked telling me that the drive-through is now closed. Had a staff at the entrance told me that the indoors was closed, but drive-through is open as I pulled in. When they greeted me I would have been able to dine at the restaurant today. But because of the negligence and frankly the rudeness of the staff, I am very disappointed in my Chick-fil-A experience. I'm very upset as a manager was the one who told me to pull around and go through the drive-through yet the staff refused to let me enter, despite me saying that the manager was the one who told me to pull around. They refused to go ask the manager or make any effort to accommodate me in the situation. They literally allowed people through before my car pulled to go into the drive-through, Im very frustrated with this experience, and I likely will not be dining at Chick-fil-A because of this in the future. read more

This is one chain fast food place that I can't seem to steer clear of for some reason. And I always order the normal sandwich. Why change perfection? Service at this location is quick and friendly. Only thing to mar my experience was a shirtless guy and what looked like his mom wearing a too short skirt who sat down grumpily and yelled the "s-word" so loudly that it echoed into the kiddie play area. I think I even saw a little girl faint in there. My appetite waned for a little until the delicious smell of the chicken sandwich wafted back to my nostrils. I guess the food's too good for bad scenery to even stop me from chowing....although I did scarf as fast as possible so I could leave. I had ordered a kid's meal for my toddler. She has an allergy to apples and we always get her a fruit cup with no apples and don't have an issue getting it since it's allergy related. Well, today we couldn't get a fruit cup with no apples because the new trainee and her trainer decided that this was no longer allowed and so my daughter couldn't get the fruit she loves. There wasn't a manager visible or else I would have talked to someone right then. We've had issues with this in the past but as long as we make people aware it's because of an allergy, we don't have a problem. These two were VERY rude about it and it'll be quite some time before returning. Which is sad because we were going to go to their Circus event this week. It seems that ever since their management/owner change, things have gotten worse service-wise. I'm giving two stars because we love chickfila and the food is always consistently tasty and most of the employees are pleasant and kind. They also seem to get mobile orders out pretty quickly, so that has become my go-to method of ordering But I'm ONLY giving two stars because as someone who travels cross country multiple times a year and stops at Chick-fil-A all over because it is the only fast food I will eat, this location is, by far, the worst location I've ever visited. I can't wrap my head around the fact that as much as they charge, they only fill the fries to MAYBE half way. At $8-9 for a meal, they shouldn't be cutting corners. They desperately need to step up their game. This location seems to win the award for being the "cheapest" Chick-fil-A I've ever seen. Generally, if you've waited in line for longer than 20 minutes, the business gives free entree or dessert cards. I've never received anything for our continuous long waits. I don't really expect anything, but it's always been a nice gesture after a long wait. I hope they take some of the criticism that seems to be pretty consistent on these reviews and make some changes. Update a year later: if anything, they've gotten worse. By far the worse chickfila I've ever been to. We've pretty much come to the realization that the owner is just plain greedy. Portion sizes are extremely tiny. Sometimes there are FIVE French fries in a medium container of fries. It's consistently this way at this location of Chickfila. We've recently committed ourselves to making sure corporate becomes aware that this location is not compliant with Chick-fil-A's standards in how they are typically customer service driven. I've also aside from their annual cow day event NEVER seen them do anything to serve their community. It's just such an odd thing to do witness of the franchise in general. My biscuit was very crunchy and ended up falling apart after a few bites. I wished that the sausage would have been cooked a little longer, it was very pale and not very hot.
