I really do enjoy Chik-fil-a , and I have had many items there with no disapointment, but I recently stopped for breakfast and had the Hash bowl with sausage, and a fruit cup, and my order came to $9.75. $4.99 for the hash bowl with sausage , eggs and cheese, and $4.09 for the fruit cup. Now If you've ever had the hash bowl It's small, and not only that they dont even fill It up. It's probably one scrambled egg and a few tots with some cut up sausage. Now to sell this they either need to fill It correctly or upsize the bowl for the price. Otherwise all else Is good read more

"Friendly Drive-thru Service" I made a quick run into Lowes, which is behind Chick-Fil-A. Then I went to the drive-thru before heading back to work. The woman working in the drive-thru was so friendly and courteous, she actually caught me by surprise. I partially forgot what I was going to order after her friendly greeting. But we managed to get through it. I had the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with a small superfood side dish. The chicken was super tender and juicy with a well seasoned crispy fried coating. It was on a fresh bun and topped with crispy lettuce, red ripe tomates, pickle chips, and a slice of pepper jack cheese. The superfood side is a healthy alternative to fries. It's a broccolini and kale salad with dried sour cherries, roasted mixed nuts, and a maple vinaigrette. Excellent little side dish. I didn't expect everything to be so fresh and delicious from a chain restaurant, but apparently, Chick-Fil-A is making it happen. read more

The line wasn't too long so I stopped for a late lunch grilled chicken sandwich. The service was good with the person taking the money close by in a little shelter. He was friendly and quick. The grilled chicken sandwich was not good. The chicken was cold so the sandwich was like individual items propped on top of each other. The chicken by itself tasted good but the bun was weird with a weird crumbly texture and no taste. I also ordered chicken nuggets for my son. They were horrible horrible horrible. It looked like little tiny chunks you might find in a fried rice dish. Not big enough to be called chicken nuggets. They tasted bad too. Not a good value. This is a typical Chic-fil-A, not that I'm an expert. I tend to avoid fast food unless on a road trip. We stopped in here for just that, on our road trip from Boston to NYC for a quick bite. I looked up the secret menu for Chic-fil-A on the way... You can tell I starving! I ordered the fried chicken club which subs in the fried chicken for the grilled on the club sandwich. It was pretty good and the staff was very accommodating, and even a bit excited by my order. If you eat in, they bring you your order and not only that, the owner himself bussed our table. He wouldn't even let us take our tray away and this was late on Friday night. We heard him asking a customer how his meal was, and the customer asked him if he was the manager, and he said, he's the manager, the owner, the busser, the dishwasher, the janitor, etc. Now that's dedication to your staff and really sets the example for your team! I was really impressed. Even the other customer asked if the pay was high since all the staff members seemed happy to be there, which they did. We tried Chik-fil-a for the first time after hearing so much about it, for so long. We weren't disappointed! We went through the drive-thru, the person who took our order was incredibly nice. We really liked that once we arrived at the window, our order was repeated by another upbeat employee. We made a very large order and we received everything- and everything was delicious. This was my first experience at a Chick-fil-a and I will definitely be back. We knew it would be busy as this is only the 2nd or 3rd location in the state and the grand opening was earlier this week. That being said I still couldn't believe how many cars were in line for the drive through! They certainly were prepared, a police officer directing traffic and several staff members taking orders from the cars. We opted to try our luck inside and I was glad we did. The line moved quickly and the staff inside was extremely friendly and welcoming. They are very kid friendly and helped us find a table and set up a high chair in no time. Even with a full line out the door our order was ready within 15 minutes. We ordered chicken nuggets, waffle fries, a chicken and bacon sandwich and milkshake. The Nuggets are bite size and much smaller than BK or McDonalds. In this case bigger is not better, these little nuggets were crunchy and much more flavorful than the typical fast food joint. Their honey mustard sauce was my favorite, I was not a fan of the BBQ sauce it was a little too sweet for me. Their chicken sandwich was even better, quality white meat and exceeded expectations. Mid way through the meal a staff member even came over to refresh my soda! The only problems I had was with the ketchup and milk shake. They have these fancy containers that you can rip and squeeze or dip the waffle fries into. I couldn't get the squeeze side to rip and resorted to dipping instead. The milk shake was fantastic however it was too thick and couldn't get it through the straw. Halfway home after melting it became easier to consume. The not only have delicious, great quality fried and grilled chicken, but also some great salads. What sticks out for me is the fast and friendly service. The staff is very helpful in any way possible. I watched the store manager/owner(?) carry a man's tray for him to the table because the customer had a cast on his arm. 4/4/18 After this, my second, and last ever visit to any Chick Fa Lay, I've learned my lesson. I went through the drive thru today and ordered a spicy chicken deluxe and a Chick fil A deluxe sandwich. I opted for the fruit cup upgrade over the waffle fries that are standard fare. The young woman that filled my order was as pleasant as you've heard they are at any of these franchises. She also spent more time correcting, and politely apologizing for all the errors in my order than it took to fill it to begin with. She read the items I ordered OUT LOUD from the computer screen as she put the wrong items in the bag, THREE times. She forgot the fruit cup that I ordered in place of the fries, she put the fries in anyway, and forgot the cookie I ordered. Stoned or stupid - your choice. RME (Rolling My Eyes) I'm really glad I checked the bag before leaving the window. Ok, I finally got the order straightened out, and when I got home and opened the paper box containing the spicy deluxe sandwich, I found it with no top half of the roll. How the heck can anyone not notice the roll isn't there when putting it in the container? JEEZ! It also looked like it had been tanning under the heat lamp for several hours. The cheese was translucent, and the chicken was long since dried out, having suffered from third degree sunburn. Anyway, this experience has completely and permanently soured me on Chick Fa Lay. I usually come to chick fil a and tell them I have celiac and they make sure my food is not around gluten. Today when I went I told the lady in the drive through please make sure it's not around gluten I have an allergy and she acted as if it didn't matter. She paused and said yes fries are gluten free. Fix your long lines in the cold problem & make sauces more accessible. Once you do that, I'd happily make the long drive to come here. Despite the long line in the cold weather, it did actually move in a timely fashion and the staff was really friendly (as is typical of a Chick-Fil-A). It took what felt like ages to get my sauce & the girl behind the counter was confused when I presented my calendar card to get my November mystery offer so perhaps a little more training may be needed but the experience so far was fine. Why is it that they don't set out sauces here with other utensils like they do at the Chick-Fil-A restaurants in NC? Unfortunately it hurts to put this so low but this has to be said. The last couple of times I have gone to this Chick fil a have been less than ideal. My meals have continuously been delayed, it's taken been mistaken, and I don't know if it's just me but the portions have felt slightly smaller. Our last straw was December 17, I got a grilled chicken sandwich meal and my girlfriend ordered a mac and cheese, we asked the worker if we could get it extra baked with the crust hardened. After a 10 minute wait in the drive through, we got home and we're deeply disappointed with our order. Unfortunately the grilled sandwich was a bit cold (6 min car ride home) and the mac and cheese was in less than ideal condition. It wasn't even baked. The cheese seemed like liquid and it felt almost lazily thrown together. I don't usually write reviews but it was almost saddening to see. This location consistently has the best service & freshest food. The service factor is huge the manager routinely comes by and asks if you need anything and if you're food is to you're liking. In the nicer weather the drive thru is staffed outside (as in they stand next to the two ordering kiosks and outside the pickup window) with super friendly fast service. I live in another town that has a Chick-fil-A but prefer to drive further to have food from this location because simply it's better. Fresh flowers at the tables is also a nice touch. read more

Now they opened more stores it's not as special anymore but it's great that we can enjoy it anytime we want. I do not miss living in Connecticut, but what I do miss is living 5 minutes down the street from this glorious Chick-Fil-A location. I was in Wallingford this weekend for a friend's stag party and knew I needed to get my fix. I pulled up in the afternoon and instead or ordering at the regular drive through they had employees taking orders and then handing you the receipt. Chick-Fil-A has always gone above and behind to make the customers happy and today was no difference. I was in and out in under 3 minutes and that was during a rush. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with those delicious waffle fries and both got an A+ rating from my mouth. I have been to this location a few times, and really it's the only Chick I have been to. The staff are very friendly but I find their food sub par. I had a chicken club on Saturday night and I received a chicken patty between a bun. They were very attentive to dress up my club. The chicken didn't seam fresh, or maybe overcooked but lacked that juicy flavor. Not much meat to their chicken nuggets and they let people stand in line without shoes on?? I used to go to Chick-fil-A quite a bit when I was in Philly. The Northeast is a bit of an unconquered territory for Chick-fil-A. Imagine my delight when one opened up close to home. Unbelievably friendly service is a bit of a trademark with Chick-fil-A. I am so used to terrible service at fast food joints that it is almost a bit odd to be smiled at from the cashier's counter from Chick-fil-A. Overall there was great service, very fast and efficient. The fresh flowers on the table were a nice touch. The workers were walking around every few minutes to wipe down tables to keep the place very clean. They would come by to ask customers how the food was and if they needed anymore sauce. Such attentiveness is unique among fast food places. After I ordered, they delivered our order to the table. Also I am Asian and cheap and asked for less ice with my softdrink. They were quick to remind me that though it is not self serve, there are free refills on drinks. They did it in friendly tone that didn't quite say "I see through your Asian cheapness with the less ice trick, so chillax woman, there be free refills, you can have coldness and value" The food is typical Chick-fil-A, which means it's rather good. The chicken nuggets are made with real pieces of chicken, not process chicken skin fried to beef tallow like many other fast food places. I go crazy on the dipping sauce and pretty much ask for 2 packs of everything. The spicy deluxe chicken sandwich is good as always. Overall this is a solid addition to the neighborhood. I have NEVER had someone who wasn't friendly, smiling, and a pleasure to talk to. Its a breath of fresh air considering most other fast food places have intimidating or just unfriendly staff. Second, the food is great. The chicken is juicy and the right amount of crispy, they have waffle fries, and the shakes are great! Third, the atmosphere is lovely. Each table has a vase of flowers, it's well kept and clean, and the decour doesn't look dated. The spicy chicken was good but no better than Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich. Waffle fries tasted like every other French fry and if you get a woody because it is waffle cut than so be it. By now you already hate this review, because it is as grumpy as it is contrarian by its very nature. But I assure you that the public will eventually return to its usual sensibilities.
