I'm so disappointed with this location now. Get it together Brent. We got shorted 2 French fries and one large French fry just now. This happens too often. They mix up the specifics to orders. It's an online order, just read it and do it. The accuracy has greatly gone downhill since the start of Covid and this pick up area is all over the place. It feels rushed. Sure the food tastes great for the most part. But the fries are often soggy. Forget ordering a milkshake or ice cream for your kids and expect it to not be melted, they bring that out first and it sits there until your food is ready. I ordered the Spicy Deluxe Chicken Sandwich on the app, since they always have a long line in the drive thru. I walked in and received my food within 5 minutes of ordering. Came here for lunch with my 1yr old today, we love chik fil a and usually have good experiences. Today to my surprise I had the worst experience. After eating half our lunch I needed a bag for the extra food. I got up and waited to ask for a bag, the nice older lady who works there approached me and asked me what I needed. But they are pleasant, well trained, organized, efficient and effective. I am guessing that they make their corporate office happy. True...Chick FIL A is a great brand and makes quality food -- from the sandwiches to the frozen lemonade thingee... But I have been to CFA in San Jose, Rohnert Park, Sacramento area and Vacaville,.. there is no comparison. Walnut Creek CFA is a lighthouse, "airport hub" for DoorDashers. They are ever ready with a worked out system and little wait time. Their staff is a mixture of student first job types and older workers from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Professional, kind hearted and hard-working. Saeed, Ms. Kerry, and the pretty redhead manager are human highlights. I don't understand people who don't rate/ give them 5 Stars... My company does catered luncheons every now and again for employee appreciation, and we decided to give Chick-Fil-A a try since it's so close to the office! First - I had no idea they catered until I downloaded the app. Genius. Second - their catering menu is mostly a lot of healthier options and of course you can order the chicken sandwiches a la carte. I really do wish they had a tray specific to their chicken/spicy chicken sandwiches vs. a cold grilled sub. What we ordered: 1. One large tray of their grilled chicken subs (serves up to 16 ppl) 2. 2 small trays of their chicken wraps (serves up to 10 ppl each) 3. A large garden salad (serves up to 16 ppl) 4. A small garden salad We were cutting it close for our office of 25, and majority of the food was consumed aside from the salad. Ordering is simple and online. They call you an hour before pick-up to confirm. And it's ready by the time you get there. I guess my only complaints are the limited tray options and the fact that they don't deliver. Ordered a chicken deluxe sandwich (like I always do) which is better and way more consistent than Popeyes. At least CFA doesn't limit how many sandwiches you order, doesn't give you stale bread and actually remembers to put pickles! Not to mention fries that aren't soggy and are actually able to handle a line of people :) Many bad reviews on this specific location due to the lack of service and crazy long lines, but I would only blame that mainly because there are not that many CFA's in the Bay Area. After years- I kid you not- of hearing about how good Chick-fil-A is, I finally decided to go check it out with some buddies. Considering that it's a 20 minute drive from where I live, I felt that it has to be the best chicken I've ever tasted for me to justify driving all the way to Walnut Creek for a chicken burger and boy was it worth it. I got chicken nuggets, fries, and a strawberry shake and boy did all three of those items knock it out of the park! Not to sound dramatic, but you can literally taste the quality in the chicken compared to other places and their fries were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside; as all fries should be. The milkshake wasn't anything special to be honest but it was by no means bad tasting. Now, where this place shined for me was the service. It's well known that Chick-fil-A has the best service and it's for a reason. Every employee greets you with a smile and is friendly as friendly can be. There's a reason people still come here despite their their questionable donations to certain charities: the quality of food and service. Had a very bad experience with mobile ordering. Arrived at the location, informed the mobile app I was there, and waited for my food. I went in the pickup the food once the mobile app said the food was ready to pick up. I inquired inside and staff said they were running behind when online orders are ready. They did not bother to ask for my name. In reality, my food was sitting in a bag in front of me for 15 minutes with the label facing away from me. Once I inquire more, they were in a rush to get the drinks that they forgot the added items (creamer and sugar). As a result food was not fresh and quality suffered. Lessen learned. Do not go in to pick up food. Instead, partake in clogging the drive-thru line to ensure I get my order in a timely manner. Customer service was poor. Is this discrimination? Don't expect to get a hello if you decide to walk in and order food. This has happened too many times and I always order around 10:00am to 11:00am(when it's not as busy). The staff is young and unprofessional. I'm assuming that greeting the customer is not a thing anymore. There have been times where employees walked away from the register when they saw I was the next customer. Review #012 - 2019 I've never really been a big fan of fried chicken sandwiches, but their spicy deluxe chicken sandwich really does hit the spot when you're craving one. We showed up at around 9:30 PM on Jan. 21st and the drive thru line was pretty long, but we were still able to get our order in less than 10 minutes. My son & I both got the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich, while my daughter had the kid's 6-piece chicken nugget meal. She really enjoyed her nuggets, but she wasn't too crazy about the fries so I ended up eating them. Good thing I didn't order a meal or else it would've been way too much food for me. I was actually kind of disappointed that the nugget pieces were pretty tiny so it didn't fill her up. I guess I'll have to order the 8 or 12-piece nugget for her in the future.
