    Outside area!
    Cryz G.

I visit this place at least 5 times a month. I like sitting in the outside area to eat my breakfast and relax, sometimes I bring my computer to work on some homework. Food is good and prices are not bad at all. Servers are all nice and attentive. Good service and food. Stop by sometime to try it for yourself.

The service and cleanliness is always great! This morning my husband got chilaquiles with chorizo on top. He said it was 3 out of 5 stars. The good: the meat and toppings. The bad: a bit too salty for him. I got the California Omelet. I think I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. The good: they listened to me when I asked for cheddar instead of jack cheese and to have the salsa on the side (I don't care for salsa so I gave it to my husband for his food). The bad: a bit too bland for me this time around.

Cute little bistro with friendly, attentive staff and yummy food! My son has lived in the nearby apartment complex for two years, but we have never eaten here. I stopped in for lunch and to wait for my son to get off work. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. I ordered the California burger with a side salad and was amazed at the huge portions. The burger was fantastic! The salad was also very good. On top of the wonderful food, the staff were so kind. I was hauling a large suitcase around with me and the temperature outside rose to over 100°. They let me stay and sip iced tea for two hours before they closed at 3 PM. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is clean, cozy, comfortable, friendly, and has wonderful food!

    Chilaquiles with chorizo, bomb!

Stopped by for breakfast. This is a typical diner feel, where you grab your menu and seat yourself. A gracious waitress approached me after a couple minutes, there were only 3 tables occupied. I sat down and within 10 minutes there were 11 tables occupied with parties anywhere from 2-5 people. Downside is that there was only one server, so she was busy. Later as they got busier someone came from the back with a teenage girl to help run food and clean tables. Good move. It took the waitress a while to circle back with me so I had to wave at her. Nevertheless she was gracious, responsive and very kind. I saw her apologize to a table letting them know the table next to them was "first" and while that's not an ideal scenario, she did it kindly that those in the receiving end were grateful for feeling acknowledged. Food came about 15 mins later, which wasn't bad. I felt I waited longer to place the order than I did to get the food. The dish was fresh, high quality and very tasty. I ordered the chilaquiles and I added the chorizo per her recommendation. This was a good choice. I don't regret it. It's a large dish so I don't think I'll finish it but that's my problem not theirs. Coffee refill came quick, some tables got neglected but I think everyone understood she was busy. One patron stood up to the counter to close his bill. Anyway, would I come back? Yes, and I'll bring my family so I can see what other dishes would look like. Cheers to this business, love the ambience, it's clean and quite welcoming.

It's a place where locals enjoy since it's close to businesses & residences ... we liked it. Nothing fancy but regular breakfast place with nice variety of choices for breakfast or lunch. We ordered- Hash Benedict - Homemade corn beef hash and sautéed mushrooms. From Eggs Benedicts choices which comes with three farm eggs poached to order, English muffin and Heavenly hollandaise. Served with country potatoes. This was quite filling nice portion size. Chicken Apple Sausage from the classic breakfast eggs which comes with three farm eggs any style, country potatoes and your choice of sourdough, wheat or rye toast. I was little disappointed with my dish, I asked for scrambled eggs it didn't look like it & the portion size of egg didn't feel like it was made of 3 eggs... But the chicken apple sausage was very good it had the kick of jalapeño which I enjoyed it very much. My husband very happily shared his 1 poached egg with me seeing my egg portion. Everything else was very good. Service was nice & quick. Parking could be little challenging since it's shared with other businesses.

The ambience of the place was so laid back, cozy and comforting. Perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast. The scrambled eggs and the Benedict's were en pointe. The accompanying chicken apple sausage and country potatoes were huge in portions, tasty and made very well !! Service was courteous and friendly. We will be back soon

Came here on President's Day morning and only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table of 4. Service was great when we first sat down - drinks served immediately, orders were taken as soon as we were ready, etc. However, when we got our food, our server kind of disappeared and was hard to track down for more water and another soda. Food was typical for an American breakfast restaurant. I will say the portion sizes were HUGE! I'm not used to 3 eggs for an eggs Benedict, but size did not take away from flavor and I was definitely full after. My friend got the Crab Benedict and mentioned that she liked that they used real crab. There's a full bar inside, but I never saw a drink menu. This place is a bit small and looks like it can get busy, so I would be prepared to wait or try to call ahead for an accurate wait time. But definitely give this local business a try!

    Nutella Crepes
    Benji S.

Price was insane for the crepes, very overpriced at $24. Almost the most expensive thing on the menu, double the price of the pancakes, and didn't even get that much. Aside from the price and serving size, the crepes were pretty good but not any better than one from nearby creperies. The staff were friendly, and I did not have any complaints about the service.

Cozy diner ! I got the eggs Benedict's and the portion was perfect ! Three Eggs and ham yessss service was quick and very attentive. Nothing fancy just cozy and homey place for breakfast

Crab Benedict with extra crab and light spinach!

Heavenly Bistro is back to being "heavenly!" I had to go back a few times just to make sure, I can ensure you the Ctab Benedict is so tasty, fresh, and addictive!! I always get the same thing. A crab benny with extra crab and light spinach with a side of potatoes! Everything was cooked to perfection! The crab was sweet and lump. The hollandaise was rich and creamy. The poached eggs were runny and the egg was cooked perfect. One of the best I've ever had in my life!! Far superior then Crumb or The Royale

Eggs benedict with bacon and avocado
    Jennifer U.

My friend and I both got different eggs benedicts which came with not 2 but 3 eggs! However only 1 of my 3 eggs had runny yolks. The potatos were seasoned and cooked perfectly. The service was great. We got seated and got our orders taken right away. We didn't have to wait long for our order. The owner and waitress was very personable. Great decor and clean bathrooms.

Heavenly bistro is kind of a hole in the wall type of place nestled in a strip mall with some non-food shops like a nail place. I arrived around 930a on a Friday morning and there were around 15 people total inside, a lot of empty tables. It filled up a little more around 1015. However, parking was hard. Lots of groups of friends were dining there-- several groups of young men, and as I entered a group of young women left. Inside the restaurant is interesting. Pop music plays at a medium volume. It's clean but not sparkling clean. The tables are a little sticky. The chairs are a little worse for wear; one wood chair at my table was taped in several places with masking tape. They are storing their excess bread in the dining area, as well as cups, coffee, water, and silverware. It's well organized. The menu is large, and the average price per item is at least $17. I ordered a hot chocolate with almond milk for $4, so they didn't give me whipped cream and instead did a dusting of cinnamon which I thought was a nice little thing to do instead. It was creamy and milk-chocolatey. It arrived steaming hot. I also ordered the california omelette for $18 and asked them to replace the toast with fruit (since I have celiac disease and cannot eat gluten/bread/wheat). I also asked for the sour cream on the side. So far I have modified everything in my order and the waitress is UNFAZED and happy to help. I appreciated that a lot. The omelette took less than ten minutes to come out. The omelette was stuffed full of chicken, spinach, and cheese, with a salsa on top that has a mild kick. It had three slices of avocado. One thing to note is that though they list this as an egg-white-only omelette, it did appear to also have yolk. That doesn't really matter to me but it might matter to others. Everything was just SEASONED. Like everything had flavor. If you're sensitive to spice I'd let them know because there's a very subtle kick to everything. All the fruit they gave me was ripe. In terms of the potatoes, I'm not usually a potato person (controversial I know). But these potatoes were good. They're crispy and really well seasoned, garlicky and stuff. They have a large assortment of jams (orange marmalade, strawberry, blueberry, blackberry). They have a good assortment of hot sauces-- Tabasco, tapatio, and a local californian brand called the pepper plant. The prices are definitely justified in the portions. I was full after eating about half. When I went to pay I realized-- nightmare-- I forgot my entire wallet. I asked if they had Apple Pay and they did, thank goodness. They were gracious and really nice. Was not the best food in the world but the service was nice and the food came fast. Would come back!

Heavenly Bistro is such a wonderful find! Ms. Rosa in Walnut Creek went above and beyond with her warm hospitality and excellent customer service. She made the experience so welcoming. The Irish Coffee and the corn beef hash and eggs were rich, flavorful, and well worth the price. Highly recommend stopping by, you'll feel right at home!

Ask the Community - Heavenly Bistro

Is there parking in the back?

No there is not. Behind the establishments is the Park Regency a gated apartment complex so unless you know someone who lives there you can't park back there.

Can they accommodate a group of 15 people on a Sunday morning?

Yes.. I would reach out to them early Saturday and let them know. Making sure everyone is there to be seated. Hope this helps.

Do they serve either gluten-free pancakes or gluten-free waffles?

No, they don't serve gluten free waffles or pancakes

    Do they have bottomless mimosas?

They do have mimosas, but I do not know if they do bottomless mimosas.

Hey y'all, what time does the breakfast/brunch menu end if any?

It did not appear to have an end.

Question (for health reasons): Is the syrup for pancakes and french toast real/true maple syrup, or is it more just "pancake syrup"? Thanks!

I have seen both there. I would guess you can ask for one of the other.

    No hay macarrones?

Hay algunos tipos de platos de pasta como shrimp scampi y pasta primavera.

Is Heavenly Bistro dog-friendly with their outdoor seating area?

I have brought my dog to the restaurant while sitting outside. Most restaurants allow this particular during covid.

Did they reopen for outdoor dining?

    Yes

Is Heavenly Bistro open for indoor dining?

    No, there's outdoor though

Should we make a reservation especially for breakfast on a Saturday?

There is no option to make a reservation

Are there gluten free English muffins?

They do not accommodate any type of gluten free. If you are gluten free you would need to order a dish without bread like omelette or salad

Is the restaurant open for outdoor seating yet?

    Yes

Do they have a full bar?

I think they do. They have a bar set up on the right corner as you come in. I just haven't ordered since we come in to eat breakfast.

Are breakfast and lunch offered all day, or only during their traditional times (morning/afternoon)?

Breakfast and lunch all day 8am-3pm 7 days week.

Do they have a corkage fee?

    I don't think so. But I'd recommend you CALL & ask them.👍

    Are there vegan options?

I would say yes! They are very accommodating!

    Do they offer bottomless mimosas?

Sadly they do not. But I recently found out that 1515 on Main Street in Walnut Creek does! Cheers!

    Do they take reservations?

    No, sorry. They do not.

To start, the employee working at the cash register was super friendly and gave great suggestions on drinks and food to order based on how sweet we like things or more coffee for we may want things to be. There isn't really any indoor seating space but they did build out into the parking lot with a few picnic tables and chairs for people to stay and eat their food. While we both really enjoyed the food - both of which were recommended by the employee - the coffee was not good at all. Pro: the avocado toast that we ordered had a curried chickpea salad on top and it had a delicious flavor. That was probably my favorite bite! We also shared half order of the blueberry waffle, and it had a type of granola on top that provided some really great textures. The food certainly impressed me. Con: Both of us felt like the coffee had none of the flavor that it was supposed to have (we both ordered the cardamom maple iced latte with macadamia nut milk) and instead, it just tasted like milk. It didn't even really have a coffee forward flavor. Since this is a coffee shop that was a pretty big disappointment. Overall, we enjoyed the food and service, but would skip the coffee.

When we opened one of the boxes, it looked like our food had lost a fight with a tumble dryer. The presentation was so rough that we genuinely laughed because we couldn't believe it was being served that way. Good coffee and food can be forgiven for an occasional mistake, but poor customer service is much harder to overlook. Hopefully this was just an off day, because a little friendliness and a lot less attitude would go a long way.

Cute coffee shop in the middle of a strip mall! We found this place on Yelp by searching for local…read morecoffee shops and this one stood out! The staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking in front and behind the cafe. It was well decorated, with big windows, an open-air bar, and cafe merchandise for sale. There was also a bulletin board advertising other businesses, a bathroom, and wifi options. It was a bit warmer this day, but there was a big fan in the front providing some air to the space. There was also a free or paid wifi option depending on the bandwidth one would need. I ordered the iced chai latte with caramel syrup and almond milk, which was a bit pricey for nearly $10. However, I will say it was delicious and made quickly. Probably the coolest thing here though was the co-working space. The front of the cafe had plenty of seating for people to talk or work. There was a hallway leading to the back room that had larger tables for bigger groups, implying more of a co-working or quieter space. Definitely appealing for people wanting a third space - will be back!

yk i have to give it to them for having housemate syrups. i always love a seasonal menu!! good…read moresummer drink variety. got the ube matcha latte. tried the matcha on its own, definitely doesn't have much depth and i don't think it's wildly great quality. but it's good for a latte! the ube matcha is pretty balanced. ube really comes out and still has the vanilla and matcha taste. though, $9 for a average quality matcha is a lot. i'll give it a dollar for house made syrup. but it's still a lot... staff was helpful in their recommendations. seemed like they really like their job! music isn't too loud. tons of seating and a lot of people were there chilling. nice natural light that isn't too direct.
