It was a wintry Saturday night and I was craving spicy fried chicken. I was coming to the area anyway and so this is not my normal Chick-fil-A location, but I think this location has done the best fried chicken sandwich that I've had in a while. I ordered it online and it was ready when I got there to pick it up, which was in about 10-11 minutes. And the flavors were so on point. On the app, you can customize your order and there were no mistakes. I did have to tap "I'm here" and then they started the order (but maybe they started before? Because I tapped I'm here when I was pulling up but it took a few minutes to get inside (street parking)). And I also got some chicken strips, which were all fried to perfection. Both were well flavored, the perfect amount of crisp, and loved that it was easy for the pick up!! The store itself was like any other store. It was pretty clean, I didn't notice anything worth writing home about. I'm gonna have to try my two closer locations and hope that they deliver like this one did! read more

I've come here at least a dozen times because it's located right on my way to work. This morning just wasn't their day, and maybe it was because of the heavy rain. They're open early and apparently I wasn't the only person with breakfast food on their mind. I would say that of the 75+ customers, 70% were actual customers either waiting for their order or sitting down and eating. The other 30% were just hangers-on or people just there to get out of the rain. I didn't like that scene or the lackluster service and consideration that some people like me were in a hurry and needed to get to work. I rolled-out seconds after I walked through the door. Despite being in a very busy area this location is fast & clean! The servers were nice & the manager came around and checked on customers. You do not see that at fast food establishments in DC! You can get a free refill here too. Limited seating but enough for the few people sitting down to eat. Not chaotic at all in here! read more

I've came in before with no problems. I came in today being that I can only get one sauce per item in my bag. I ordered just a sandwich and couldn't get two sauces, unless I purchased them. I find that really ridiculous being that I only wanted two sauces and that most locations don't limit sauces to their customers. read more

If there's one fast food restaurant to give a solid 5-star to, it's Chick-Fil-A. For fast food, the food is quality and you'll be served your chicken sandwich with care and a genuine smile. I highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (To save a few calories, ask for no butter and a wheat bun- it tastes the same), waffle fries (The European in me gets light mayo to dip them in), and the honey roasted BBQ sauce (You have to special request this as they keep it behind the counter). They keep the restaurant clean and inviting with plenty of seating. They fun the place with efficiency so no matter how long the line, you won't wait long. Chick-fil-A is probably my favorite fast food restaurant. I love their chicken nuggets, waffle fries, breakfast biscuit sandwiches and the awesome Chick-fil-A sauce! The honey mustard sauce is pretty great too. I stopped in here in February to get my birthday freebie. I had a choice of one free dessert. That day I choose the chocolate fudge brownie. I got a side order of waffle fries with plenty of Chick-fil- A sauce. I took it to go for my drive out of DC. I didn't have a long wait only about 2 minutes. The restaurant was not busy as it was after lunchtime but before dinner. The fries were crispy and tasty. I like the medium size ones best. The fudge brownie had a nice fudgy chocolate flavor. The texture was chewy on top and soft in the middle. It was not quite perfect because I was not at home to microwave it a few of seconds to warm it up. Chick-fil-A is my go-to fast food place if I am ever in the mood for chicken! I absolutely enjoy their original chicken sandwich and waffle fries on the side. Although, the place can be busy at times, the wait isn't usually that long. They have really fast service so the wait won't even seem as long as it actually is. The workers are pretty generous and won't hesitate to make any adjustments to the food. For example, I don't like pickles on the sandwich so I simply ask if they could remove it and they are more than happy to go through with the adjustment. The place is well sanitized and not very dirty compared to other places I have been to. I went to this location on Wednesday night, ordered one original chicken sandwich then after I settled down and ate it I got food poisoning IMMEDIATELY after. It was so bad that It lasted until the next morning. Today was Cow Appreciation Day. I went to my favorite Chick-fil-a location to enjoy my free entree. What did I love about today? Let's just say I was in line for less than three minutes. I walked in and was greeted by friendly associates. They were offering Cow hats and buttons if you weren't dressed in order for everyone to participate. I left the gym next door starving and had been craving the spicy deluxe sandwich. I stopped here and waited in line for 10 minutes, and took my sandwich to go. I got home and opened my bag to see that I did NOT get the spicy deluxe. I have no idea what I got, but it was just a chicken patty on bread with some pickles... um the last I checked, the spicy deluxe is seasoned with spicy pepper coating and contains lettuce, tomatoes, and pepper jack. Why is this the first Chick Fil A to open in the district. And surprisingly, they have their S**T together. I think everyone in the near CoHi area has been awaiting this opening for.... years. And not to dissapoint. They have the line well organized at all hours of the day - taking orders ahead of time and then while you wait for your food they identify you with a colored and labeled bucket looking thing. Fast service, even with a line. And seriously how can you go wrong at Chick-Fil-A. I get the spicy with Chick-fil-A sauce but it is all delicious. They also have a food truck in the area. Large amount of seats if you want to stay. My only complaints are the refills require you to go back to the counter and they are closed on Sunday... but then again there were no surprises here. This place is accessible enough for an urban location. Service was friendly but a tad too slow because, as another reviewer pointed out, teenagers were teenaging behind the counter (read: joking around rather than taking and filling orders.) If it takes too long to get your food it stops being fast food. It's also not the cleanest Chick-fil-A I've been to. It's fine. You get your fix. So, it's a Chick-fil-A and the classic chicken sandwich is pretty basic. But here's a little math for you: their breaded chicken + pickle + buttered bun is simple but delicious... + Polynesian sauce = PERFECTION. It was busy at lunch time, I spent 10-15 min waiting in line. But once I placed my order, it was out in no time. NO TIME. I literally spun around in a circle (trying to find the pick-up waiting area), and they called my name and had my order in-hand. Now that's what you call fast food. Their restaurant is also clean and the workers sanitize well! I personally really like the spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries, chick-fil-a sauce, and Polynesian sauce. As another yelper stated, this isn't the crown jewel. The food is great and I recently was introduced to their chicken soup that is out of this world. I wouldn't hesitate coming here for the food; I just wouldn't take family who have never experienced CFA here because they wouldn't get the full experience of friendly, helpful, and clean CFA. The customer service is average, and for a CFA, that's not what I'm anticipating. An example from my last visit: I asked the man behind the counter how he was doing, and I didn't get a response. There were tables available to eat at, but a number of them needed to be cleaned, and another two-top was without chairs.
