I had some family in town so I decided to get some catering. I heard great things about Olive U. So I decided to give it a go. I got to choose which base and which chicken I wanted. Even though Olive U chicken has garlic on it, I barely tasted anything which made me happy. The chicken tasted very fresh and high quality. The rice and lentils tasted great. I also liked the veggies included. The tomatoes were so good and ripe. That is hard to find nowadays. All the other veggies were very fresh. The restaurant looked brand new when I walked in. The staff were very friendly. My family enjoyed the food. Not much was leftover which made me happy because they enjoyed it i will come back here for a meal when in the area. My mom took me here on a Wednesday afternoon and I really liked it. Apparently it's a chain and they have a few other Palm Beach locations, but this was my first time. She tried a build your own bowl with salad and chicken and tahini, and some toppings. I got the falafel appetizer which comes with six piece pieces and a nice side of sauce - I chose tzatziki. It was really delicious and fresh. The staff was also very sweet and patient while we took forever to make up our minds. The dining room is clean, there's lots of indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking in front. Prices are pretty decent, about $14 for the bowl and $6 for my falafel appetizer. Came back on a Saturday to check out their other options. As always, this place is clean and the decor is beautiful And neat. The Manager Michael help me out and definitely made a great recommendation for the Gyro which is a mix of beef and lamb meat cooked right in front of you on the grill, talk about fresh! I had a bowl mix with lentil rice and cinnamon rice (never tried cinnamon in my rice before, but it was so good, very interesting flavor) top with fresh delicious veggies, and he recommended their secret sauce, which was amazing. I also got the spicy sauce, which was fire! The bowl was so flavorful and juicy. I was very happy and impressed with this dish. Let's not forget about dessert their baklava is so freaking good. Delicious Mediterranean food served fresh and fast. I am a big fan of this restaurant, which has several locations in Palm Beach County. We stopped in for a quick lunch and were happy we did. Very fast and friendly counter service. We had salads with chicken swarma loaded with their many options for toppings. The chicken is made to order and was really yummy. Very tender and flavorful. I had the house sauce, which is creamy and very tasty. Their red cabbage is also a hit. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff led by manager, Michael, are really nice and helpful. I have passed by Olive U a few times, even eating next door at a similar concept chain bowl place, but finally made it in for a healthy meal before heading back to Central FL. I opted for a salad bowl with the Olive U flavored chicken. They quickly warmed up the chicken cubes on the griddle with some flavored sauce and I went on to pick the toppings. I appreciated the heaping spoonfuls of chickpeas, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. They didn't skimp! We also got an order of their regular fries. We sat outside to enjoy our meal and I was particularly impressed by the moist and flavorful chicken. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as it did (figured it may get dry and overcooked when heating up). I'd definitely order it again. The fries were freshly fried and nice and crispy! My beau added some salt and ketchup, but next time we'd opt for their specially dressed fries. But the moment that really blew us away and made us fans was when the guy at the counter stopped by our table to give us two baklavas on the house! It wasn't necessary, but holy cow how a simple kind gesture leaves you wanting to make the place a regular in the rotation! Staff was awesome super polite opened the door for us upon arrival, we were greeted upon entrance and exit. I went ahead and ordered the same as my guest who has been here several times. We stumbled on this fairly new plaza in Uptown Boca when driving by and decided to stop and check out Olive U due to our love for Mediterranean food. Olive U is definitely Mediterranean on the go as you order your base which is an option of different rices, meat or tofu and then your selection of veggie toppings in a bowl. I ordered the Lentil Rice with half Olive U Chicken which is seasoned with herbs, and half Gyro meat which is a mix of a beef and lamb. For toppings I had the chick peas, cucumbers, olives, onions, tomatoes and feta. I would recommend getting your bowl topped with their House made Sauce which tasted amazing.
