the food is overpriced and the owners are rude people especially the wife. they seem unhappy every time i go there and the food is average. the juicy chicken has an orange color that comes from food coloring which is not good. it costs about 12 bucks for a stick of meat and rice. it should be around 8 dollars, but no more than ten. the hummus is good and the falafel is over fried. never going back again... customer service training. read more

The first time I ate at chicken chick was my first time eating Mediterranean/Persian food; the whole experience was amazing. I ordered the spicy juicy chicken and my friend ordered the filet mignon; both of these were delicious. They came with a side of rice and/or salad. I didn't love the salad but the rice was light and flavorful. The spicy juicy chicken describes itself. It was just the right amount of spicy and juicy to enjoy the chicken. This meal did not come with vegetables but the filet mignon did. The filet mignon was also very delicious. The meat was nice and soft. I enjoyed every bite of my meal and I've come here 3 more times since my first visit. I crave this all the time and if it wasn't as pricey, I would come here every week!!! I don't think this place is overpriced; the food here is definitely worth the price you pay, but it's just that I am broke. I have recommended this place to so many of my friends and they have all given me good feedback, which makes me so happy. I love this place and I will be coming back very soon. read more

Service was great (though, when we were paying our bill, the one girl working at the front was on the phone forever - not her fault as there's a big help wanted sign outside, but still --maybe they are understaffed at the moment). I had the falafel plate with hummus and tabouli - no complaints there. Cleaned my plate right up! And it was a generous portion for, I think, $9 (7-8 falafels, a large portion of hummus, and tabouli). It came with tahini sauce which was pretty good, but I prefer garlic sauce, and asked for that. No extra charge and it was super delish! Hubs got the juicy chicken plate and also ate every bite, plus 2 of my falafels :) So good. Really good chicken and beef koobidehs plates!! but why only one strip of meat on the plate for that price? most places automatically have two strips for just a bit more in price. (one strip if it's a lunch special). I ask because the meat is really tender, juicy and delicious and one simply isn't enough. I would gladly pay extra for another strip of meat but your a la carte price for another strip is a bit high. just offer an option of a two strip meal. until then, I don't know if I would go back. my other Mediterranean place is just as good but you get twice as much meat for just a couple of bucks more. otherwise, the service is good and the place is clean. read more

I had the filet mignon with cherry rice - yes, CHERRY. Amazing. My fiance had the salmon. I was already a fan of Persian food. My fiance was ok with it, but after trying this place, he now loves it. The food was fresh, and it came out quickly and in large portions. It was delicious! The service is amazing, and if you're lucky enough to meet the owner (which you will because she's working alongside everyone else), you'll fall in love with her attitude. I've tried the MaMaison north of ChickenChick. CC is closer to my classes so I tried it. I stepped inside around 3:15pm. There were two guys seated, a group of four, two of which were the owner husband and wife. The wife would pass me 2-3 times as she went into the kitchen. There was a male person in the kitchen. The woman smiled and nodded. I ordered a ground chicken wrap, no soda, just one chicken wrap. The person who took my order was cordial. The wait begins. Small talk continues but no food is forth coming. 15 minutes passed - the two guys got their food!! Wow! I'm next! 15 more minutes pass. The owners were now saying good bye to their guests. I eventually get my order - 30 minutes later! No other people came during my wait - the phone never rang. It's that slow. My thinking is the owners may want a place to entertain their guests and decided a business establishment could serve two purposes: they can entertain, they can visit their restaurant, and, if we sell to public, that's icing on the cake. The waitress asked if it was worth the wait. Answer, "no." Ma Maison, to the north has a larger clientele, and is there to sell food - not sure CC's purpose. Sure wish ZhankouChicken was near. They are the originators of Persian grilled chicken, hummus, pickled turnips, and all things wonderful. Find one in your area. When you visit this place, take your shoes off - you'll be a while. My parents were there and they received terrible service. The lemonade they ordered had bad lemons in it and every time they asked for something, they were ignored. It wasn't even busy. They were the only people there so you can't blame the bad service on it being busy. I really hope that they treat customers better in the future because customer service is very important.
