Naab is a great Mediterranean eatery. This on is in Marina Del Rey, but I know there are a couple other locations. The place is super cute and really clean. It is new to us and for some reason we never saw it. You walk in and place your order at the counter and they give you a number. The service there is very nice and friendly. They will help you with the menu. The food we had there was great. I love Turkish coffee and Naab serves great Turkish coffee. We had their Lentil soup and it was some of the best with just the right amount of spice. We also loved their salmon and they have great rice and salad. The Chicken shawarma wrap has so much chicken and it is so flavorful and not at all dry like some wraps at other places. The steak kebabs are cooked perfectly and so tender. It is all great. This unassuming spot has the tastiest food and shockingly reasonable prices. The chicken and gyro meats are spiced just right, the hummus and lebne are served with fresh, warm pita, and the iced tea is rose flavored! I've never ordered the lunch special, but it's prominently featured at the counter. My typical order for two is either a single wrap plate to share, or two different wrap plates, so that we can each share both - with enough to take home. The inside of the location is clean white tile, with wood tables and a few TVs. The servers are friendly. Very tasty and generous portions. The chicken Shawarma wrap is loaded with chicken and it's very juicy. I also really like the long pickles inside. The steak kebabs are also very tender and the rice flavorful. Their garlic sauce is great and spent most of my time smothering it all over the fluffy pita bread. Come hungry! read more

Had dinner to go from this place recently. The interior is clean and neat in a relatively newer building. But seating is limited and I imagine that much of their volume is to go. I had the Chicken Kebab platter. The chicken was nicely cooked. It came on a bed of rice with hummus and a small salad on the side. The chicken was fine, but was a bit lacking in flavor. I had to ask for hot sauce and it needed it. The pita was also on the flimsy side and the hummus was a bit on the watery side. Overall - it was ok. I would prefer Panini Grill. read more

Quality food, consistency to me is important. And this place is consistently good. Clean kitchen. It's not a sitdown where they come take your order but more like a cafe, you order at counter and then sit down with your number. I have had the chicken kebab and the veggie kebab here & both are always wonderful. Salad is good. Rice is good. Meh...3 stars and that's a bit generous. Yelp has the details wrong. There's no outdoor seating and because there's no outdoor seating, it's not dog friendly. We ended up taking our food to go because we had our pup with us. The bathroom was out of service...supposedly it broke that morning. So...what's left...the food and customer service. The food...its average. My partner and I ordered the same thing- lamb gyro. It's a mix of lamb and steak. The sauce is pretty good but without it, the meat has no flavor. Portions are large and they don't price gouge you...so there's that. The customer service was average. The parking could be better but the food is good! They have great options of food. I really enjoy their fried rice. When the owner is there, the service is great but when he isn't, there is an issue sometimes. The inside is nice and clean with free water jug if you are waiting. My friend Esther A. lives in Playa Vista, and Naab Mediterranean is one of her go-to delivery spots, especially for a large group of people. I've had the food at her house a couple times now and it is delicious. You can order a family-style meal for $150, and it feeds up to ten people, with chicken kabob, beef and chicken koobideh, rice, salad, and choice of appetizers. That is good value, and everything tastes great. The falafel is crispy, the hummus flavorful, the kabobs meaty and satisfying. It's an easy, crowd-pleasing way to cater a full dinner with minimal planning. I'm a little far from Marina del Rey, but I'd take advantage of Naab if I lived in the area. I have eaten from here many times, almost exclusively online order for pickup. The food is fantastic, I came here today in store to place an order. Waited for 10 minutes for the place to open, because it is great food.The menu in the store is different from online, it took me a moment to find the menu on my phone. In the middle of ordering the cashier picked up the phone and began processing a phone order. This was extremely disrespectful, and unfortunate. I asked the person helping me about their top one and two selling items and I was recommended the chicken shawarma and chicken Kebob; and that's what we ordered a wrap and a plate. Chicken was alright as well, I think it could use a bit more seasoning and really hoped they had some garlic sauce to go with it. Greek salad was simple and good, but nothing special. The veggie platter was another alright dish the hummus was the only thing I enjoyed. Overall, everything was a bit bland for my taste, and not in the sense of it needing more salt, but it needed more spice and flavor.
