I see mixed reviews on this location but I will say it is one of the better locations. I came in and ordered the number 1 and although some of the tenders were small the compensated by adding more tender. Of course if the chicken isn't good it doesn't matter. I have never had an issue with this location. Yes, it is one of the very few options in this area. The chicken is very good but not seasoned, the corn nuggets are my go to but they did away with the seasoning for the gravy. I have to bring it home and season it with my own. For better or worse, I always under order what I am hungry for because it always seems like they over fill the boxes especially if you go later in the evening. read more

I have only received fresh tenders 1 time. I continue to get old food that has been sitting for hours and is dried out. The fries appeared to be fried multiple times based on the texture of them. Speaker system never seems to work on the first time. They will remake the order for you but it is too expensive to have to make multiple trips. Also they need to get better inventory of chicken. Came though the drive through and placed a order for a 2 piece and roll and a kids meal. I was rung up for a 2 tenders , which was a mistake on the cashier. I told her as soon as I got the receipt for payment. And brought it to her attention. I told her as soon as I noticed and she said that it would be a difference of about $.50 or so. I went to get my debt card and she told me don't worry about it. I said ok no problem and drove off. When I get home I noticed that I only had one thigh in the box. I called them to let them know and the man on the phone said they was told to only give me one piece of chicken. I complained that if I would have known that (of the lady at the window would have told me, I would have just purchased another piece of chicken. Since I only received 1 piece of chicken and a side, I was over charged. The guy on the phone showed no compassion or empathy towards a customer who was given an incomplete order and OVERCHARGED!!! On top of all that, the chicken was undercooked and cold. I ended up throwing it away. I will NEVER return to this location! read more

After my second trip to this location, I won't be going back. Have been eating at Chicken Express in Denton for years, and loved the 2 locations near us. Moved out near Justin, and found this one. The first time they were "out of chicken". Kind of a big deal if that is the ONLY THING YOU SELL. Went back this week, and was happy to get an 8-piece family meal. Except that the chicken was tough, and didn't have much flavor. Surprising since it is a chain restaurant recipe. Had some leftovers the next day, and it was still tough. How do you fry chicken to be tough? The green beans were also flavorless and mushy. At least the mashed potatoes and gravy were good. The more I ate of this, the more I thought about looking for a KFC next time. And the time after. Please fix your food prep. Something is definitely wrong here! read more

Normally I don't write reviews let alone bad ones but I'm pregnant and the service was just beyond subpar. We received a huff of frustration from one of the female workers after saying that we would wait the 5 mins for them to fry the spicy tenders. They tried to charge us for another order after already charging us for our personal order. And they left out my corn nuggets that I already paid for. Needless to say I'm grumpy and hopefully the next time we go the service will be better, full of less attitude, and given ALL of our food that we ordered. read more

I live close by and anytime I want catfish or chicken tenders I stop by. The food is always hot and fresh, the staff also very friendly.

Their chicken is great. Their service and attitude to us customers is unbelievable!
